TW: graphical description of Violence.
Namjoon POV
She has been mentally overdriven, and has had the worst pages of her life sticking through her cells, but would it resonate with her killings? For someone else's mistake, is it right? Is it fucking right to meddle with other's life? I wouldn't forgive her. Why should I? The very thought that Ri-ma hopes I would forgive them due to her past is burning my nerves.
My love had nothing to do with her past, why was she killed? How do I pity a beast?
Clenching my fist, I walked to the second corridor that led me to the dungeons. Jimin has left for his room, followed by Ri-ma. If I should strike any time, then it's now. I walked through the iron door but I couldn't find any soldiers.
Where are they? I squirmed my eyebrows. That wench must have fled, was the thought that struck me as I rushed to her cell.
Dee Gee Won laid on the ground as his body pooled blood. His face held anguish as his legs shook and his chained hands tried to reach his neck by any means. Under the glimmering faint light, I could see his eyes rise high as he struggled to breathe, exhaling through his mouth, letting his body perish in pain. A soldier held him in place while three others held Myrah. She didn't escape.
She stood still in their hold, breathing vehemently. I removed the lamp that hung and moved it towards her face. My face drained of all blood as I felt my heart race- for I was scared for the first time. Scared by her, by her bloody mess. No doubt, she is a beast.
Her mouth was drenched in blood, her teeth bloody red and orange, she- she had bitten him to death. Her mouth hung open as she breathed in and spat his blood. Her brown eyes raised to meet mine, and her mouth closed into a knowing smirk as she stared at the dead body and then at mine. But then, what did I see? As her eyes met mine, her hands trembled as her eyes drew gloom, and she fell on the floor as the chains clinked. She appeared depressed as if she tried to annihilate herself, what a conniving witch.
Acting all pathetic. I scoffed. Now would she kill if she was not crazy? To think about the thoughts that could be woven in her mind, quenching for blood, brings chills to my spine. But what astonished me next was Jimin dropping down and hugging her body. She has most importantly driven him crazy.
Jimin's POV from a little earlier to the present:
It has been 5 years since I last saw her. It is heart-wrenching.
My life is pathetic, giggling at me by prying my wounds back, resurfacing the past and history.
When I saw her in the room with my brother, my last limp of humanity almost fell out of the thin line it stood.
She can't be controlled. She is like a toxic weed, maturing infinitely.
My core couldn't break any more than the last time. It forfeited the last hope to piece itself.
I walked swiftly to the penitentiaries.
"Where is she?" I asked my soldier, who bowed and handed me a letter.
*
My eyes slowly burnt orange. Controlling my rage, I crumbled the missive and was about to pass the soldier who notified me that Myrah was in the cell next to Re Dee Won, a notorious old hag, who once led riots against me.
Keys cackled as the low light danced with shadows from the lamp that blinked, gleaming the dark cell.
Her figure moved from the floor. balancing to stand with the stronghold of iron chains. Her face was dishevelled by little hairs, and under the dim light, her busted soul was all I could see. In no time, I fell to my knees embracing her in my arms.
Her lover failed to shield her, but I wouldn't do that. She didn't hug me back but dwelled still.
In the looming dark, I wiped the tears off her face, unaware of my surroundings.
"Let's get back, Myrah," I spoke between my plunging tears.
"...I don't deserve to live, Jimin," she said, smashing the silence after the last time. After a long time, I heard her soft voice.
I frowned as her hands rubbed my tears away. "No. I won't let you die. I have lost everything except you. Myrah... I even lost her. I deserve to die, Myrah. I have flunked you and our child," I disclosed and sobbed loudly with no control.
My heart panged shamefully and remorse inflamed as my heart ached for my daughter I have never seen nor known until now.
"What?" Her lips quivered as I caught her arms.
"Our dear... Yoongi killed-"
"No!" she whimpered.
"No." she smacked her head and wailed out loud.
"Taehyung, he should have taken care of her," she yelled as she slapped her head. Gripping onto me tightly, she fell on my chest, weeping more than ever.
A child I have never seen, a wife who I never knew up until now. What should I feel?
This is gruesome and cruel.
Can god know my pain? I hugged her back and broke into fits of ugly cries.
What should I do? I was a father who was completely ignorant of my one's existence.
The blame I put on my wife didn't want to be poked, I thought.
But then the sudden silence disturbed me, before which she muttered, "This is how Namjoon's lover would have felt."
I heard a loud noise as I turned to find Namjoon dropping the lamp down. The glowing lamp inside lit the hays that were provided for the cellmates. The hay caught fire as I acknowledged the soldiers who tried who put it off.
Namjoon pushed her from my embrace and held her by her collar, and that's when I noticed her bloody face. Glimpsing down, I found my hands that rubbed the blood off her face.
I was terrified more than ever as my hands trembled, I moved back as I watched her while the soldiers tried to lift me. "Free her chains," I screamed. I got up and pushed Namjoon away, who fell near the fire.
She, whose hands were now freed, ran past me who stood listless. What am I supposed to feel? I knew I was driving crazy but my impulses didn't budge but ran behind her.
