Myrah's pov (Continuation)

I wasn't unarmed, thanks to Jimin! I bussed my golden dagger and stood on guard. Min Seong's sword was longer than mine, I may have to flail mine, but I reckon I can get on.

Seong stretched her sword at me, and my sharp blades upheld, forcing the heavy sword to the side. It screeched as it glided down. Seong raised it, and I moved back, dodging her legs that could have hit me.

I brought my dagger to my lips and bit it, bringing my hands to my untangled hair. I rolled it up and made it into a bun. A strand of hair still fell upon my face.

We both breathed in unison. I hollered as I pounced at her, pushing my dagger front with all my effort.

My thumb that retained the steel part of the dagger crushed and sagged already due to my early combats. She did frivolity but blocked my refinements.

A pretty strong woman for her weak mouth.

I moved my dagger in all slits I could find, striving for her internal organs, My actions grew sloppy like my energy. Yet met with the cold sword, her lips curved into a smirk.

The sky blurred as the night grew dark, I slid behind a wooden post, taking in deep breaths as she turned to find me. As her figure neared me, I held my breath and swung the dagger up in the air, almost to lacerate her neck, but luckily her legs lurched and fell onto the water pool that was very near the pillar I hid. Not bad, I leaped into the waters.

The smog moved the breeze as the winds fouled up, and my hair stood in chills. I dipped underwater, and as Seong was surprised, I tried to get to know her cognition.

I came out and let out a whiff. My garb was all wet, and I too was carried by surprise when I felt an abrupt cut on my upper hand. I hissed as I kicked Seong, who fell short, dropping her sword.

I was in full alertness when I couldn't see her for about a few minutes before she rose again and lunged towards me with her bare hands. I was pushed forcefully at the back, and my spine hit the steps of the pool.

I moved back, crawling back to the now wet wooden floor with my face facing hers who moved towards me as she stepped on the steps. I crawled back further, and upon hitting another pillar, I stood up. Watching her as I pressed my knuckles, clicking them.

I underestimated her, she is more powerful than me.

But before I could strike her, she fell on her knees to the ground, with her hands bleeding. She is very inept, must have slammed her head someplace I reasoned as red globs of liquid illuminated her audacious neck.

She became senseless and I found it the right opportunity to terminate her. Jimin would return tomorrow, within that I could conceal this incident, I thought, and lifted Seong by clasping her hair, driving her to lean on the pillar. I went to grab my dagger that fell near the steps, my hands all wet as I held it. I grabbed her head and kept my knife near her neck.

But before I could rip it, the chamber doors were opened. I was dazzled when I heard stomping sounds, I had the least energy to escape if it was guards. I would have to give up.

But, I reckon it is not, it must be my maids. I sought and moved my hands that held the dagger, slowly as my blade scraped her neck lightly, I was ready to push it down but was dragged back sharply. I fell on the floor with a thump. "Who the hell?" I shouted as I looked at the person.

No words left my lips as I stared into Jimin's eyes. His eyes scrutinized mine. Standing behind Namjoon, as the other soldiers and Work carried Seong away, my eyes trailed to the ground, completely lost, as I glanced at something, like a sort of tail slithering into a bush around the pool.

"Bring her to the courtroom," Jimin spat bitterly and walked away. My plan had just flopped, and I couldn't bear it. As I was frenzied and tried to move, Namjoon held my arms. Lifting me with his tight grip and leading me.

I can't be killed. Jimin wouldn't kill me, would he?

Not. He won't. I have to plan something else. A prey of mine is still at loose, I should do something, I contemplated. Prioritizing my safety and plan, least thinking about Jimin, then-

Namjoon POV

Myrah fell unconscious. This whore should have died right then.

"Drop her in the courtroom. But before that bring a cup of water." I ordered. I wouldn't bear a single dip of water to an assassin, alas! Jimin has tied my hands.

I rigorously shook her head with my hands on her chin. Her eyes half flared as her eyeballs grew astray, to the top, I flung water over her face.

"Bitch!" I cursed. If I wasn't a royal officer, I would have tortured her to death. I bet even that wouldn't satisfy my remorse and acrimony.

With a long breath, she jerked up. Stumbling to stand as I gripped my steel band over my arms.

"Get her to the courtroom, before I trash her limbs," I demanded as I bit my cheeks and turned back, walking down the path, my heart crammed with intricate pressures of feelings. My eyes were pitched red.

"Aargh!" I yelled and punched the wall before.

She hasn't lost anything. When she does, she will lose herself. And I will be the reason for it. I conferred myself before throwing another punch at the wall.

Kat: Myrah was exhausted or was Seong strong? Whom do ya support?

Shall we let Myrah go without being punished?

First Joon's pov. Joon ain't the main character, although his presence is significant. We'll see more of him if you'd like.

Ya know rit... There are 2 types of people. Level 1 who can handle their rage. Level 2. One who can't.

Meh- level 1.5~
