[Note - In first chapter the year was 2023 I know. But yeah actually it is 2024. It was a mistake. Sorry. Also I know Sara graduated in 2023 but for story kets pretend it's 2024. Thank you.]

As Roohi sat on the window seat of her new home with a cup of coffee in her hand, she looked out. The only view she could see was of the busy city. Mumbai indeed is a busy city.

She took her head phones and played some good songs. She took her laptop and started designing the cover for her new book.

Dhruv had to go for practice so he was pretty busy. IPL will be starting so he was mostly at practice.

As she started designing, she took a sip of her hot coffee. It was indeed pretty hot outside but as Roohi was sleepy, she decided to drink some coffee.

As she was designing she heard the door bell rang. She frowned. She knew Sara was out with her family so it won't be her. Other girls too were busy with their own works. Boys were at practice. She didn't order anything. So who it can be.

....

[Guess who is it?]

....

She went to open the door. As she peeped through the door she saw a lady figure. Her frown increased and she opened the door. The lady turned around. It was Tara.

Roohi was surely shocked but she hid her shocked expression with a beautiful smile. "How may I help you?" Roohi asked, the smile not leaving her face.

Tara - um... Is Dhruv here? I went to his apartment but it was locked.

Roohi frowned at that but soon smiled and shook her head. "No he is not here. He went to practice" she said and Tara nodded. How did Tara knew that Dhruv was living here. Moreover how did she knew that Roohi too lived in the same society.

Tara - when will he come?

Roohi - not sure. He comes on irregular time..

Tara just nodded at that with a smile. "Would you like to come in and maybe have some water?" She asked. Tara smiled a bit and nodded.

Even though Tara and Aditya had hurted her alot, as a kind soul she is, she could not hurt anyone intentionally.

Tara made herself comfortable on couch and Roohi went to bring some water. As Tara looked around, she found the living room decorated with modern furniture but had some traditional touch in it.

As Roohi gave water to Tara, she sat on the couch opposite. It was awkward silence. "So how is life going?" Tara asked.

Roohi - pretty good. How is your relationship with Aditya going?

Roohi asked as she couldn't help her curiosity. "Umm well it's going good.." she said.

Tara - what about your relation with Dhruv. How's it going?

Tara asked. Roohi frowned at first bit getting what she actually meant but eventually answered, "well yeah we are nice... "

The awkward silence was back. Tara and Roohi would look at each other and just smile awkwardly. "So um when will Dhruv come. Like any idea?" Tara asked.

Roohi - he might come now. It's already 1 pm so he must be coming now for lunch.

She said as she checked the time. Tara just nodded at that and sighed. "I am sorry.." Tara said. Roohi just frowned at that. Why saying sorry now when the damage has been done already?

Tara - I am really sorry. Even though I knew you liked Aditya, I said yes when he proposed me. I know you trusted me alot but... But I just broke your trust. It's just I needed someone to help me move on...

Roohi - it's fine. I have moved on now.

She said with a smile as she remembered Dhruv. The person who she loves now. Oh, how she wanted to say, "after breaking my heart into pieces you are here to say sorry. How ironic" but she didn't. She just sighed.

The door bell rang indicating someone has came. Roohi went to open the door and was attacked by a hug. She just chuckled at that. It was Dhruv.

Roohi - kya hua aaj itne khush?

Dhruv - hmm.. aaj coach ne taarif ki meri!

Roohi - wah that's great! Aur tumhe aur khush karne ke liye, I have made your favourite lunch!

She said while Dhruv just smiled like a baby. "Thanks Rooh!" Dhruv said making Roohi smile at the nickname. Only if she knew the reason why Dhruv gave her this nickname while everyone else called her Rooho..

It was their daily thing. Dhruv would have breakfast at Roohi then go to practice. He would come back at lunch and have lunch and will go to gym. He would come back and spend time with Roohi. Both of them will cook dinner and then Dhruv would go to his home for sleeping and the routine would repeat.

Roohi - tumse koi milne aaya hain!

She said making Dhruv frown at that. He entered the house and saw Tara sitting there. He just looked back at Roohi who just scratched the back of her head. Dhruv just sighed at that.

Dhruv - what are you doing here?

Tara just stood up from the couch and sighed. "I am here to meet you Dhruv.." she said.

Dhruv - why after so many years? When my life is going back in track why don you want to come?

He asked while Roohi just frowned at his rudeness. "Dhruv!" Roohi said with a strict tone making Dhruv sigh. "Sorry." He said and went towards the kitchen.

Roohi just sighed and looked at Tara who looked visibly hurt. "Sorry about him. I don't what's wrong with him.." Roohi said.

Tara just smiled at that. "It's okay. I will be going now.." She said and took her hand bag and left. Roohi sighed and went towards the kitchen only to see Dhruv drinking the water.

Roohi - you shouldn't have been rude Dhruv...

Dhruv - but Roohi why she had to come back to me when everything is finally good in my life. I am tired of her presence.

He said while Roohi just hugged him and patted his back. "It's okay now chalo let's eat. Bohot practice ki hain tumne. Pure pasine se bhare ho tum" she said and scrunched her nose making him laugh.

Dhruv - chalo phir khana khaate hain..

He said and helped her to arrange the plates and served the food. As they started talking about the some random things Dhruv remembered something.

Dhruv - by the way Rooh!

Roohi - hmm...

Dhruv - would you like to join me for IPL? Hum na kisi ek ko humare saath la sakte hain. Tum aaogi?

Roohi - zaroor kyu nahi!

She said making Dhruv smile widely. They again started with their lunch.

Oh boy, they are cute. Aren't they?
