Our Kitty

"Kitty, please calm down, you need to shower right? Don't you want that sweetheart?" Beomgyu said softly, trying to not scare away the repulsive hybrid even more.

Taehyun just backed into the wall, refusing to let the others help him take a bath. His eyes were darting everywhere, anxiety eating him from inside.

Shower. That word brings out the worst memories, he's deeply trying to not think about it. These boys have been anything but harsh to him, but his fight or flight mode isn't helping at all, specially with the scary Alpha (Soobin)
standing on the doorframe. The bathroom feels so suffocating, he feels like puking, his thoughts are swirling, and he wants to scream till his throat hurts.

"No, I'm sorry, please I'll not do it again. Please father, it's cold…please please-"

"Cold..so cold..please stop"

"Kitty? What happened kitty, please calm down." Taehyun was brought out of his destructive thoughts, feeling a warm hand on his back, he recognised it, it was the sweet Alpha's hand. Huening Kai, he won't hurt him.

"Take deep breaths with me kitty, one, two, three, yes good, you're doing good. Breathe out, slowly. That's good." Taehyun followed the Young Alpha's instructions, his breathing coming down to normal, then only he realised he was hyperventilating.

He looked up to see the other four looking at him with concerned gazes. Even Soobin, he looked so worried. Why are they worried about him? Why are they....so caring towards him?

"Do I even deserve this?" Taehyun thought to himself, more tears Falling down his eyes, rolling down his cheeks.

The four of them were utterly confused. They had no idea why the Cat Hybrid was reacting like this.

After their dinner together, Beomgyu was trying to help Taehyun take a shower, since the other looked kind of messy. Soobin was also there in case something was needed. Kai was helping Yeonjun in the kitchen wash the dishes.

Everything was okay, until Taehyun started acting weird when Beomgyu tried to help him get out of his clothes and told him to sit in the bath-tub so he could shower but Taehyun hissed at him, backing in the corner, and suddenly started panicking and hyperventilating. Beomgyu was scared and confused, so he called for Kai. The Cat Hybrid seemed to trust Kai the most as of now.

And now they were here, all four of them sitting on the bathroom floor, looking at the Cat hybrid whose ears were flat on his head, probably sad or embarrassed.

"Kitty? Are you okay now?" Soobin asked hesitantly, hoping the Hybrid would respond to him. His voice was gentle, and his eyes were full of concern. It made Taehyun relax a little. The alpha didn't seem so scary like this.

The way he was speaking to him, in such a soft tone was making him feel warm and fuzzy. No Alpha who seemed so strong like Soobin had treated him like this, Soobin seemed so gentle at the moment, just like Kai.

"Kitty? Sweetheart?" Yeonjun asked again, and Taehyun realised he hadn't replied to Soobin.

He just nodded, looking at Soobin, and managed to flash a small smile. Soobin was shocked to say the least. Since the time the Cat hybrid was here, he seemed to avoid his eyes and stay away from him. He even hugged Yeonjun, but he still hesitated to look at him.

So, seeing the Hybrid smile at him, he was really surprised. He felt giddy inside, he had no idea why. The Cat Hybrid seemed so vulnerable and hurt, it made Soobin's protective instincts kick in, and he could feel that feeling from his other three mates too. Since the time Taehyun arrived, Beomgyu didn't leave his side, and Kai was always comforting the other. Yeonjun seemed to dote on him too, despite being an omega himself.

Soobin's heart warmed at that. His mates were truly loving and caring people. He was so glad to have them as his boyfriends.

Taehyun was now being interrogated once again, and Kai was still holding his hands slightly, which made him calm down eventually, his Cinnamon and Dark Chocolate scent filling his panicked-fogged mind.

"Kitty, do you not want to shower?" Beomgyu asked the hesitant hybrid, looking at him.

He nodded his head as "no". He needed a shower, and he knew that.

Beomgyu was confused again, if the Omega wanted to shower, why did he react that way?

"Kitty, do you feel uncomfortable because we are here?" Yeonjun stepped up, now asking the anxious boy, his voice soft and careful. Taehyun felt more at ease with Yeonjun, since he didn't feel a sense of fight or flight with the other, as he was an Omega too. Maybe he understands him, and knows what he's feeling.

He nodded "yes" as an answer. He hoped they wouldn't be mad and decided to abandon him for wanting that, they were allowing him to state his opinion, so it was fine right?

"Oh, we're sorry Kitty, we will leave you alone. But you need at least one of us with you, in case anything happens. We're worried about you Kitty, so can you please let one of us stay with you?" Yeonjun asked softly, hoping the Cat Hybrid would agree to it.

Taehyun thought for a moment about this. Having another person in the bathroom seemed to bring back his bad memories, and he hated feeling scared like that again and again. But Yeonjun is asking nicely.

"I don't want to disappoint him." Taehyun thought, and finally nodded yes.

Yeonjun's eyes instantly lit up with happiness upon seeing the Cat-hybrid agreeing to him.

"Okay, good. Who do you want to be here with you then?" Yeonjun asked.

Taehyun started contemplating about that. Soobin was an absolute no for now, he seemed not so scary now, but he wouldn't want him in the bathroom. Beomgyu, he seems good but he still feels quite scared of having a beta near him.
He knows Alphas and Omegas, but a Beta? He doesn't know what they're like, and even though Beomgyu seems like a sweet one, he can't trust him yet. He knows that too well. Huening Kai, the sweet Alpha he seems to be comfortable around the most, he can have him near himself…but again, he's an Alpha, who knows what he will do if he finds him like that, the past might repeat again.

Then the last option, Yeonjun. He seems most fit right now, Yeonjun is sweet, his scent is comforting and he's an Omega, just like him. He will understand him, he did so far, his mind told him he can trust him. Yeonjun made him food too, and he talks so softly, even the others listen to him. He's like an idol to him, he can trust him maybe.

"Okay, Yeonjun it is." He finally came to a conclusion, looking at the four people in front of him, waiting for his answer. All the attention on him made him a little nervous, but he gathered his courage and pointed his finger at the older Omega.

Yeonjun smiled in Victory, smirking at Beomgyu who thought he would be chosen and just pouted in response.

"I thought you liked me!!" Beomgyu said with a whiny tone, and Yeonjun just laughed at him.

"Hah, he likes me more loser." Yeonjun teased and Beomgyu just glared at him playfully, hitting his arms lightly.

"Yeah yeah whatever." Beomgyu said, rolling his eyes and the three of them walked out of the bathroom, leaving the two Omegas alone now.

Yeonjun slowly approached the younger, reaching out his hand to touch his hair, and when Taehyun didn't flinch away, he patted his black fluffy hair, slowly scratching behind his cat-ears.

He figured out that the younger one liked it, because Taehyun leaned into his touch, letting out a little happy noise, closing his eyes. Yeonjun smiled at that, and continued to do it for a few seconds, putting his hands away.

The younger looked at him with his big curious cat-eyes, it made Yeonjun melt into a puddle. The younger one was the definition of "adorable". The way his ears were fluttering in curiosity and his eyes gleaming in the white light of the bathroom made him look so much cuter, Yeonjun resisted the urge to pinch his cheeks and coo at him.

"So, ready to take a bath Kitty?" Yeonjun asked with a smile, to which the Younger nodded.

Yeonjun got up from the bathroom floor, turning on the warm water tap, filling up the bath-tub, as he got the bubble bath solution, pouring it inside the bathtub.

Once the tub was filled with bubble water, Yeonjun called the Younger one.

"Kitty, come here." Yeonjun ushered the Younger to come close, and Taehyun slowly made his steps towards the bathtub. It looked so....nice.

He touched the water, thinking it would be cold, like always but it was warm....the bubbly water tickling his skin.

"Warm water for me?" Taehyun thought, looking at Yeonjun, who just smiled back at him. Why were a bunch of strangers so kind to him? More than his own father ever was. Since the second he opened his eyes, he received nothing but love and care....did he deserve this? What if they had an ulterior motive?

"No one does anything for free Taehyun." He remembers his father's words, while he lashed out on him. So was this also a trap to something sick? But seeing Yeonjun, smiling so softly at him....he wants to believe it isn't.

He wants to believe they really do care, and they don't have an ulterior motive. He didn't even notice he was digging his nails into his palms harshly, while spacing out.

"Kitty? What's wrong sweetheart? The water will turn cold." Yeonjun said, placing his hands on Taehyun's shoulder, making him come out of his straying thoughts again. He looked at the older, who looked worried.

Maybe, just maybe for once he will let himself be delusional and think he's being cared for. If he's gonna be sold to some dirty monster after this, he will just accept it. He probably deserved it anyways. He was dirty, he was tainted, shattered. He would never fit in with these four people, who seemed to have such a beautiful bond. A bond he can only desire but never have.

Taehyun came back to his senses, and looked at the older man again. Now it dawned on him, if he wants to shower, he will have to strip. If he strips, Yeonjun will see all his ugly scars, he will see all his marks and the dirty person he was, he will tell the others, they will look at him with disgust, they will mock him, he will be abandoned again. Worse, he will be sent back to his father, in that hell again. No, he doesn't want that.

"Kitty? Hey are you okay? You're shaking sweetheart." Yeonjun murmured softly, only for him and Taehyun to hear, he was worried. What did the Omega go through to be so scared? The way he acted, it wasn't normal at all.

He flinched on any loud sounds, got scared of things he shouldn't be, and cried so much, and always seemed to be lost inside his own mind. There must be something really wrong with the younger. It hasn't even been a day with the hybrid, and he can tell something is terribly wrong with the young boy.

"Kitty, do you feel shy maybe? Don't worry, I won't look. I'll turn around. When you get inside the water, then only I'll look at you alright?" Yeonjun said softly, thinking the Omega might be shy and embarrassed to strip infront of him. Understandable, he's a stranger to him basically.

Taehyun just looked at him and nodded, slowly getting out the clothes he was wearing which belonged to the Sweet Beta, entering the bathtub. The warm water touching his skin felt so good, and the bubbles seemed to tickle his skin, he loved it. It felt so warm, unlike back at his own home.

"Shut up you useless wh*re, you like entertaining my friends huh? Let me wash your dirty body."

The horrifying memory flashes in front of him again, as tears start to well up in his eyes. He was getting lost in his swirling thoughts again, but then he felt a hand on his hair, Yeonjun.

Yeonjun was shampooing his hair for him. Taehyun immediately snapped out his thoughts, his brain focusing on the Older Omega's hands in his hair. It worked like magic and instantly calmed him down. It felt so good…so soft and warm. Yeonjun was slowly working the shampoo between his fingers, massaging the Younger's scalp, hoping he would like it.

Oh, only if he knew how much Taehyun loved it. When was the last time he felt so loved? When was the last time someone took care of him like this? He doesn't remember. But it felt so good.

Maybe, he shouldn't think about much right now, and let them take care of him. Maybe, these four strangers who he found by fate, are his saviours. Maybe, he deserves to be loved too.
