synopsis !

⠀ ⠀ NANCY CHAVEZ always knew she wanted to help people. It's why she joined the FBI. One of the first things she remembered from her childhood were flashing red and blue lights. All she wanted to do was stop other little girls from going through what she'd been forced to years ago.

Psychological assessments during her time at the academy had forced her to come to terms with the past. What had happened to her parents. A tragic "accident" that orphaned her and her brother, that's all it was. And then what followed not even a decade later. Which, at least the cops believed was actually a serial killer. Her very own Sidney Prescott story.

Qualified profiler or not, Nancy enjoyed working with the four-legged kind of agents far more than any person that could backchat. But avoiding the field was beginning to prove impossible. Especially when a familiar special agent came knocking at her door about the very case she'd spent so many years trying to forget about...

HI WELCOME TO 2023 !!

haven't actually created a new oc since may of last year so to help my adhd brain w writers block i'm gonna try the writing two books at once thing (even tho i have 4 books on hold lmaooo) which will hopefully help !!

as you can probably tell, a whole lot of this book is gonna be inspired by the scream franchise. its just one of my fav horror franchises of all time and i wanna combine it w my favourite show atm :) gonna try to be as original as i can so feel free to call me out if its TOO much of a scream rip off lmaoo

(low key nervous ab the storyline revealed so far so pls lmk if it's compelling/makes sense from the synopsis 😅)
