MY OPINION:
Although this show is just a spin-off of Vampire Diaries, I have to say that I liked the show a little more. Even though the plot sometimes seemed to be a bit far-fetched and some storylines were a bit confusing, I liked the story more. Here, as with Vampire Diaries, not everything is geared towards love, but the family is in the foreground. I love the characters, because they are quite atypical for teen shows and everyone has their own motives, which are mostly reasonable. The show also takes place in the beautiful New Orleans, which gives the whole thing a very unique flair and besides, I would like to go there now!

Again, I shed a few (many) tears in the finale and there were quite a few situations where the series affected me emotionally.

BINGE FACTOR: 7/10
Compared to Vampire Diaries, I often had moments here where I really wanted to keep watching and I was looking forward to the next season. I would like to watch it again, although I would have to deal with the emotional pain again. 💔
