Meet project #2: søurkiss! 💿

In which five talented girls make their ways in the musical industry by joining a local coffee shop band, which became famous thanks to the intense letters and fresh sound

In which five total strangers learn how to survive to the big NYC while writing songs about their lives with some girls they barely knew.

SØURKISS! is a five member global girlband, consisting of DEJA VU, ALL AMERICAN B*TCH, BRUTAL, BAD IDEA RIGHT? and LOGICAL. They debuted in June 2nd of 2024, with their first studio album BITTERSWEET MELODIES, famous for being fully produced and composed by the members. They gained popularity thanks to social media and people visiting the cafe only to see they perform on the weekends.

Group name: it doesn't really have a deep meaning, one of the members came with that idea when they were discussing about the band name and it was the most voted idea. They liked the sound and the Y2K vibes that it exuded. The name represents the pop-rock vibe of the band and the public that they seem to reach.

➳ I thought about this as a global girlband more than a fully american one, I really wish for a group with ethnic and nationality diversity as it's kinda boring to see only k-pop ggs in applyfics

➳ their vibe reminds me a lot of Olivia Rodrigo's discography, that's why the slot names (kinda a headcannon)

➳ I also thought about them having little solo releases once in a while, or to collab with some western or even eastern artists, just keep things fun <3

➳ I was thinking about some specific fcs that would match the vibe, maybe Tate McRae, beabadoobee, pinkpantheress, Tyla, Somi, Bibi, Clairo, Addison Rae, mxmtown, Lyn lapid and even some of the og members of Boysworld.
