CARELESSLY THROWING ANOTHER ITEM IN HER BASKET, ADRIA ADDED TO THE GROWING MOUND OF GROCERIES IN HER CART. After being the first to wake up in the Mikaelson-Gunn household, Adria decided to be somewhat productive and do some much-needed shopping. So, the Heretic had left a small note on the fridge before heading out at the crack of dawn.
So far, her basket already contained different baby clothes for the twins (as if they needed anymore), various pregnancy craving snacks, and housewarming items for Rebekah and Erik's new house.
As Adria headed to the checkout register, she received many stares at all the things piled high in her cart, all of which she ignored. The teen working the register smiled warmly at Adria but internally groaned at the number of things that she would need to scan. It was 8 in the morning for god's sake.
"Lot of stuff to be buying so early in the morning," The cashier commented, before adding unnecessarily, "And all at once."
"I know right," Adria laughed fakely before glancing down at the cashier's nametag which read 'Grace.' "But lose the attitude Grace, they're not paying you minimum wage for your dull-witted remarks."
Grace's eyes widened at the bluntness of the woman before her and quietly continued scanning the items. While she did so, Adria felt another presence lurking outside the store. Adria inconspicuously looked over her shoulder out the store window to see the backside of shady figure quickly walking out of her sight.
Dumbass, Adria thought. Someone clearly forgot to tell him not to pick fights with a Heretic before 9 AM.
Adria quickly swiped Klaus' card and grabbed her newly purchased items and waltzed out the door. She dropped the groceries off in her car, but instead of driving back home, Adria decided to investigate the person following her.
For all she knew, it could be a vengeful witch who didn't get the memo from her hostile takeover a couple of days ago. If that happened to be the case, it would be rather simple for the heretic to make an example of the witch's stupidity.
However, she picked up on a different scent. A familiar one that reeked of wet dog and cheap cologne. Adria followed the scent into a dark alley behind a deserted warehouse just on the edge of the Bayou.
There, the figure stood, leaning against the wall with his back to Adria. He spoke lowly, but Adria could hear clear as day what he said. "Took you long enough."
Adria could almost laugh at all his theatrics ― and his audacity. "What the hell do you want?"
The man turned slowly to face Adria and then he straightened his spine to appear more confident in the face of the Original Heretic. "It's been a long time."
"Yeah, not long enough it seems," Adria scoffed. "And don't make me ask again."
"I think you know what I want," His eyes dropping ever so slightly towards Adria's pregnant belly.
"What I want is for you to start talking before I take my knife and gut you from the inside out."
"You won't, because I just so happen to have important information about those twins you're carrying." Adria seemed taken aback that he knew she wasn't just having one baby but twins. However, she quickly recovered as he kept talking. "You're going to want to come with me."
Adria laughed at the man. A good long hearty laugh, before composing herself once more and narrowing her eyes at the hybrid stood before her.
"I don't fucking think so," Adria began, "You see, you followed me, then led me to this nauseating alleyway, and now you still manage to have the audacity to demand from me."
The hybrid gulped as Adria stepped closer to him and backed him against the wall. Adria took a manicured hand and gripped his throat strongly and continued to speak, "So no, Tyler Lockwood, I will not be going with you. On the contrary, you will be coming with me."
And with that, Adria snapped Tyler's neck and sped off.

"ADRIA'S GONE. WHERE IS SHE?" Elijah asked his sibling's, concern evident in his tone.
"What?" Rebekah responded, equally as shocked.
Erik on the other hand was not concerned and simply stirred his coffee, "Relax guys, she probably just went out early, shopping or whatever, and she'll come back waltzing in with a bunch of bags unharmed. Maybe even some blood on her face knowing Adria."
"Then why wouldn't she leave a note or a text. She's not even answering any of our calls." Rebekah shook her head.
Adria did in fact leave a note. The issue was that it fell down under the fridge as Erik went to take out a blood bag out for a morning snack. Simple misunderstanding.
"Once again, probably murdering someone right about now." Erik answered.
"Surprisingly, I agree with Erik," Klaus added as he joined the conversation. "Adria can handle her own. And I highly doubt she managed to get herself kidnapped like you two are insinuating."
Elijah disagreed, "Perhaps Marcel knows of her whereabouts."
"I don't really think getting Marcel involved is necessary."
"Niklaus come with me," Elijah said, ignoring Erik's comment, striding right out the door.
Erik shrugged his shoulders at them and faced Rebekah. "They'll see. But since we now have the house to ourselves..."
Rebekah grinned at what Erik was insinuating and crashed her lips to Erik's. He closes his eyes, drops his drink, grabs her by the waist and brings her as close to his body as he can. His hands move from her waist to her shoulders, then up her neck and around her defined jaw. Rebekah's fingers trace a path from his shirt to his messy hair and curls them there. They both melt into one another and get lost in their intense feelings, right there, on the living room couch.
Meanwhile, the two brothers arrived at the Abattoir where Marcel was currently holding a Vampire Fight. Dozens of vampires were congregated in the courtyard of the compound, where they all talk amongst themselves and drink.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Vampire Fight Night!" Marcel shouted, completely unaware that it was now morning, "And the first rule is: the vampire left standing at the end of the round is one step closer to the inner circle, and one of these-- a daylight ring. If you can impress me with a little ultra-violence, you too can enjoy the warmth of the sun on your face. All you got to do is kick a little ass. Here we go!"
The vampires form a circle, all eager to see who the first fighters would be. Marcel introduces the first two, "Our first two contenders: Felicia and Otto!"
Felicia and Otto fight while the rest of the vampires cheer them on. At one point, it appears that Otto has the upper hand, but ultimately Felicia wins the fight by wrapping her legs around his neck and twisting her hips to snap his neck.
"Damn, girl! Not bad!"
The victory is short-lived however as Elijah and Klaus enter courtyard and snaps Felicia's neck.
"I'd like a word."
"What do you think you're doing?" Marcel questions angrily.
"It appears that we've interrupted a collection of filthy amateurs! We've come here for information on Adria's whereabouts. Give it to us, or we kill everyone here... starting with you."
Marcel scoffs, "You two got a lot of nerve, coming into my home and making demands."
"Your home, is it?" Klaus smiles.
"What do you know? I will not ask again," Elijah demands.
"I haven't seen Adria in a while. However, I did hear about her little run in with the witches a few days ago. She did always have this thing about control. But other than that, I'm just as in the dark as you two. You don't believe me? Look around. Hell, I'll even help you find her. But the question that I'd ask is: if Adria isn't here, then where is she?"
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
"YOU DUMB HYBRID PIECE OF SHIT," Adria curses as she assaults Tyler with all her force.
"Are you done yet?" Tyler groans in pain rolling over on his side.
"No."
Adria deals Tyler one last blow to the face and lets out a satisfied sigh. "Now I'm done."
Tyler nods stiffly, "Great. Can I speak now?"
"By all means, but that beating you just got there was only a slice of the pie, so choose your next words carefully."
Tyler nods again, a bit more wary this time and rises to his feet. He looks around the new location that Adria brought them to. "You brought me to the Bayou?"
"Glad to see that your eyes are still working," Adria taunted pulling out her knife, "But yes I did, I thought you would want to be near your kind when I beat your ass."
"And what are you going to do with that?" Tyler gestures to the knife.
"That depends on what you say next," Adria smirked.
Tyler steps back, "Hey, you attacked me, remember? You ambushed me and I didn't even touch you."
"True, but you were pissing me off with your nonsense. Now speak and stop wasting my time."
"It's your twins," Tyler starts, "I've been roaming around the Bayou, asking questions after I heard that you were pregnant. And let's just say that I heard some interesting things. So, I lured you here to test a theory."
Adria raises a brow, "Go on."
"Give me a second," Tyler reaches into his pocket and pulls out his phone dialing a number. "Dwayne, there's been a change of plans, meet me in the Bayou. And hurry."
"Great, you've summoned a friend," Adria replies bitterly.
A couple of minutes later another werewolf arrives, Dwayne, eager to become a hybrid like Tyler had promised. "Is that her?"
"Yeah."
"Whatever you two are thinking about doing, I strongly suggest you reevaluate. I would hate to have to kill you and your little buddy."
"And what makes you think we're afraid to die?" Tyler retorts. He turns to Dwayne who was preparing materials for whatever they were planning on doing, "Is everything ready?"
"Yes."
"Good," Tyler turns back to an unimpressed Adria, "Dwayne here is a werewolf who is willing to die to test our theory. We believe that your blood, the blood you share with your children, can turn an ordinary werewolf into a hybrid."
Adria looks between the two, her face emotionless.
"I've been running with wolf packs all over the country. One of them was tight with a witch. She had nightmare visions about your babies and how Klaus could use their blood to make an army of hybrid slaves."
Adria finally moves from her stoic position and paces indifferently. "So, if I'm hearing correctly, and do correct me if I'm wrong, you two want my blood to try and turn this dullard into a hybrid?"
Tyler nods.
Adria sucks her teeth and steps right up into Tyler's face. "You truly are a fool if you think you'll be getting even a drop of my blood."
"Dwayne now!" Tyler commands. The werewolf lunges directly at Adria with a syringe but instead misses as she vamp sped behind him and snaps his neck. The large syringe rolls out of Dwayne's limp hand and Adria wastes no time grabbing it and stalking towards a fearful Tyler.
"You can't have those kids. If Klaus gets ahold of them, he wins," Tyler shook his head hoping to persuade a murderous Adria. "He will take the twins away and use them to make more hybrid monsters. Slaves who do everything he says."
Everything Tyler says however falls on deaf ears. Adria's mind was made up. He should've listened to her warnings before.
"I am going to take this syringe and stab it right through your eye, into your tiny brain, and whilst you stumble like an idiotic dumbass, " Adria pauses to giggle, "I will take my knife and behead you and gift it for my children to play with."
Tyler closes his eyes and braces for pain and just as Adria lowers the syringe, a voice shouts from behind them.
"Tyler?!"
Tyler opens his eyes and is in disbelief of who stands in front of him. "Hayley?"
Adria turns over her shoulder to see the brunette wolf glaring into her eyes.
"Hayley! Long time no see darling, don't tell me you've come to ruin all my fun now?"
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
"NOT THE MOST ATTRACTIVE COMMUNITY, ARE THEY?" Elijah asked, disgust lacing his tone as he overlooked Marcel's vampires.
"You do realize they can hear you?" Klaus inquired, sparing a glance at his older brother.
Elijah smiled emotionlessly, "You do realize I don't care?"
Marcel then appears, trailed by some of his vampires who dragged along the witch Sabine, in their tight grasps. "You know, Elijah, I liked you better in that box." He turns to Klaus and gives a smile, "But Klaus, my sire, you I owe the world, and I always show respect to my elders. If Adria is missing, you could benefit from the help of a witch. And, since I control all the witches in this town, I'll grant you one little locator spell. Sabine's the best guide in the Quarter. Need to find someone? I guarantee, she's your girl."
"And where are you going?" Klaus asked suspiciously.
"I hate to cut this short, but the sun's out. My nightwalkers need to get inside, and I have got a city to run. I leave you to track down your lost sheep. Oh, and tell Adria I said hi when you find her."
Elijah then turned to face Sabine, "Can you find her?"
"I can try."
Sabine perched herself on a table and set up for the locater spell, taking some of Klaus' blood in the process. Elijah and Klaus huddled around as Sabine waved her hand over the map. The puddle of Klaus' blood traveled from their current location to where Adria was at. Which just so happened to be the Bayou.
"She's in the back country. Way up past Houma, deep in the Bayou," Sabine informed the brothers.
"What the bloody hell is she doing out there?" Klaus mumbled to himself frustratedly.
"I don't suppose you could be more precise?" Elijah wondered, shifting over the witch.
"What's the matter, Elijah?" Klaus teased, "You're worried a bit of splashing about in the bog might ruin your expensive shoes?"
"As a matter of fact, after my recent confinement, I could use a decent stroll through the countryside," Elijah deadpanned.
"There are stories of exiled werewolves, encampments. If Adria went out that far, chances are she went to find them."
"Adria could care less about the werewolves. If she's out there it's for a good reason," Klaus said knowingly. Understanding Adria's motives were rather simple, seeing as there were only about two things that could make Adria travel that far: Family or Enemies. And considering that her family was perfectly safe, he was guessing the latter.
He could only hope that Adria and their unborn children were perfectly safe. But he wasn't worried. Right?
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
TURNS OUT KLAUS WAS EXTREMELY WORRIED. The hybrid had ushered his brother out of the compound, and they were trudging through the Bayou in record speed.
"We should head south towards the water," Klaus explained.
"You seem quite determined to find Adria. Especially after your earlier claims that she could 'handle her own.'" Elijah quoted with a look.
"No one is forcing you to come, Elijah. If I am moving too fast for you feel free to stop and rest anytime."
Elijah smirked and continued to keep pace with Klaus, "You know Niklaus, I've noticed that you've begun to admire Adria, in a far more romantic way than before."
"This is hardly the time for such conversations, Elijah."
"Personally, I believe this is past overdue and-"
Klaus held up his hand to silence Elijah and began to sniff the air and search the surrounding area.
"Have you found her scent?"
"Yes, and someone else's." Klaus strode off, following the scents deeper into the Bayou. Elijah trailed close behind and stopped when Klaus stopped in his tracks. "Tyler Lockwood."
"And why would your little hybrid sidekick be so far from Mystic Falls. Certainly, he has no business here," Elijah cocked a brow.
"I don't know but his scent is intertwined with Adria's. They're here together."
"What interest would he have in Adria?"
Klaus tilted his head and smiled a little, "Perhaps he wants revenge because Adria and I went after his girl."
"Why do I suspect this is the least of your guys' offenses?" Elijah sighed, waiting for the rest.
"Back when I had the means to sire hybrids, he was my first, Although, I didn't give him much choice in the matter." Klaus explains, "He was loyal in the beginning, but he grew insubordinate, turned my other hybrids against me. I couldn't have that, so I massacred the lot of them. Tyler ran like a coward before I could finish him off."
Elijah sighed frustrated, "Anything else you two happened to do?"
"Well, there was this business with his mum. . ."
"You two killed his mother," Elijah shook his head incredulously, "Wonderful."
"And what lesson will you be taught, Niklaus, if he retaliates by harming Adria?" Elijah glared at him.
"Enough. He's likely six feet under already. If not, I'll take care of it myself." Klaus sped off, leaving Elijah behind.
Just a few miles north of where Klaus was, Adria, Tyler and Hayley were all gathered around each other 'catching each other up,' while Adria restrained herself from slashing Tyler's throat on the spot.
"Why are you trying to kill Tyler?" Hayley asked Adria.
"That's the first thing you have to say? No 'Hi Adria' or 'Long time no see' or perhaps even a 'What are you doing in New Orleans, in this mosquito infested Bayou?' Because quite frankly I have a lot of questions myself for you. But first and foremost, hello Hayley, good to see you again." Adria ranted.
"You can cut the crap. I know you don't like me." Hayley noted.
"Not true, I think you are a very resourceful girl. Although your poor choice of words did indirectly contribute to my current situation. Thanks for that by the way."
Hayley nodded slowly, still confused at the whole pregnancy thing. "Look, I don't know what drama you two have with each other, but could you take it someplace else. You're freaking out the other werewolves."
"Don't tell me that this is your long-lost pack," Adria gasped, and Hayley couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic or not. "Congratulations on finding them after all these years."
"Thank you," Hayley accepted with a shy smile, before remembering her goal and straightening back up again. "You two need to leave. Right now."
"Oh, trust me Hayley I will be out of your way as soon as Tyler is taken care of." Adria affirmed.
"And just how long will that take?"
"As long as it needs to Hayley, as long as it needs to." Adria said chillingly, while cracking her neck and facing Tyler.
"Adria, please. You don't have to do this." Tyler tried to reason even though he so badly wanted to kill Adria.
Adria wanted to laugh again. For some reason, it has been a really funny day for her. He truly didn't know anything.
"Tyler listen to me when I say this. I truly hope you rot in hell with your pathetic mother."
Tyler's eyes widened and he gasped as he felt Adria's knife impale his heart and he fell limp in her arms. Unfortunately, that would only be a temporary death for the hybrid. His beheading would make it permanent.
However, just as Adria began to slice his head off, Klaus appeared in front of her, stopping her motion. "Leave him be, I would like to have a little chat with him when he awakens."
Adria pouts and begrudgingly puts away her knife, tossing Tyler's body to the ground next to Dwayne.
"Now," Klaus gently grasps Adria's chin, forcing them to make eye contact, "Are you okay?"
Adria smiled softly at his concern, "Never better."
"Good," Klaus says, pressing a kiss to her forehead, "Because you and I need to have a long chat."
Klaus noticed the werewolf standing off to the side and immediately recognized her. "Hayley! What a surprise seeing you here."
Hayley rolled her eyes, "Hello to you too, Klaus."
Hayley took that as her cue to head back to the rest of the werewolves, trusting that Klaus and Adria would handle whatever business they had with Tyler and Dwayne. A couple of minutes into her walk however, Hayley picked up another sound.
Looking around she shouted, "Who's there?"
No answer. The werewolf took another step forward, "Listen, I'm having a crap day as is, so just show yourself so that I don't have to hurt you."
From the shadows, a figure stepped into the light, clad in a pristine suit and tie and perfectly gelled hair. "My apologies, I didn't mean to frighten you."
Confusion crept over Hayley's face as she stared at the mysterious man. "Who the hell are you?"
"Elijah. Elijah Mikaelson." A look of realization came across Hayley as she began to connect the dots.
"I'm guessing you're Klaus' brother," Hayley stated, with a raised brow.
Elijah tilted his head into a nod in response. Although he didn't show it, Elijah was completely taken aback by the woman's beauty. The brown hair cascading down her back, the bright olive-hazel eyes, and the immovable confidence as she stood ready to face any possible attackers. It was beautiful. She was beautiful.
"I'm Hayley, by the way," Hayley said, holding out a hand for Elijah to shake, which he took with no hesitation.
"Do you happen to know where my brother went?" Elijah asked, although he could hear that both his brother and Adria were less than a mile away. He needed an excuse to not end the conversation.
"Yea, they're just a half mile that way." Hayley explained pointing Elijah into the correct direction.
Elijah smiled warmly, "Thank you, Hayley."
Hayley didn't get the chance to respond however, because Elijah had sped off leaving just the scent of his expensive cologne in the air. With a small smile to herself, Hayley turned and walked the rest of the way to her pack, the handsome Original on her mind.

"HELLO TYLER," Klaus smiled as Tyler awakened from his temporary death. "You look well! I aim to change that. Threatening Adria in order to exact revenge against me? I never expected you to sink so low!" Klaus slowly walks toward Tyler, "I admit, I'm impressed!"
Adria sat boredly on a nearby log watching Klaus taunt Tyler.
"Used to hang out with you two. I guess something must have rubbed off." Tyler added.
"What would Caroline say if she saw what you've become? Perhaps I'll ask her when I call her to tell her of your demise." Klaus taunts using Tyler's ex to get him riled up.
Tyler plasters a smile, "Whatever happens to me, Caroline's never going to stop hating you!"
"I couldn't care less about what Caroline thinks of me." Klaus clarifies, "But I can't help but imagine what she will think when I send your heart to her in a box."
Tyler's face turns cold and runs toward Klaus only to get lazily tossed to the side.
"Come on, mate! Give it a bit more effort! I want to enjoy myself." Klaus bellows. Tyler glares at Klaus and braces himself to fight, but at the last minute, he vamp-runs away. Klaus smiles and waits for a moment before chasing after him.
Adria sighs dramatically, "Seriously! You guys couldn't keep the fight where I can see it."
"Adria."
Adria turns over her shoulder to see Elijah leaning against a tree, carefully examining the scene around him.
"What happened here?" Elijah asked Adria, approaching Dwayne's dead body.
Adria brushed it off, "Oh that's just Dwayne. A dumb werewolf I killed not too long ago."
Elijah straightened back up, "And Niklaus?"
"He's chasing Tyler right now." Adria adds just as carelessly.
"Perfect," Elijah responded sarcasm in his voice. "Where did you run off to this morning? I had thought something bad had happened."
"Oh 'Lijah," Adria smiles wholeheartedly, "Always concerned about me."
Elijah tilts his head ushering her to explain.
"Well, I had woken up early, thanks to the babies, and so I decided to just head out and get some shopping done. And while an incredibly rude teenager was checking out my things, I noticed Tyler stalking me. So naturally, I had to kidnap him, bring him here, and beat him consequently," Adria finished. "Didn't you get my note?"
"No," Elijah deadpans.
"And you didn't see my missing car?"
"It didn't exactly cross my mind, Adria" Elijah tells her.
"Oh," Adria muttered, "Well here I am!"
Elijah smiled and pulled Adria into a hug. He pulled back however as one more question still seemed to cross his mind.
"What did Tyler Lockwood want with you?"
Adria sucks her teeth, "Well, apparently he wanted to take some of my blood to test a theory that my babies could sire new hybrids. He claimed it was the only reason Nik wanted the babies. It was a lot of nonsense to be quite honest."
Elijah frowned, "And was the theory correct?"
"I don't know, and I don't care 'Lijah," Adria exasperated, "I didn't let the mutt get any of my blood."
Elijah nodded, letting the new information sink into his head. "We need to find and inform Niklaus. He was quite worried."
"We aren't telling him about this." Adria states, "It'll only make him upset. Besides it's not like its true."
Elijah remained stoic, contemplating.
"Elijah?"
"You're correct. Let's go."
Adria looked Elijah over once more before following after him. Something was up with him; she just didn't know what. He was a lot harder to read than Nik.
Adria and Elijah found Klaus sitting on the porch of a random shack ― Tyler nowhere to be found. He stands up and smiles when he sees Adria approaching him.
"There you are," Klaus says, before glancing briefly at Elijah, "I see you've found Elijah."
"Yep," Adria chirped, "Poor thing was wandering around the Bayou like a lost little puppy." Elijah glared at Adria.
"I'm just glad you're safe," Klaus mumbled, pulling Adria close to his body. "You can't leave without telling anybody like that again."
Adria's body shivered against Klaus as he whispered into her ear. The control he had over her body with such simple words were insane. But she had control over him too.
"I left a note," Adria whispered back, looking up at Klaus with large doe eyes that made Klaus feel weak in the knees.
Klaus' hand cupped Adria's face, and he lowered his face down so that they were only a mere centimeter apart. "I bet you did."
Just as they were about to close the small distance between them, Elijah cleared his throat to remind the two of his presence. Adria and Klaus both rolled their eyes at the interruption but pulled apart to face Elijah.
Seemingly unfazed, Elijah continued, "Niklaus, there is something you should know."
"God, Elijah I thought I told you to leave it alone," Adria groans.
Klaus frowned and peered between the two. "Leave what alone exactly."
"Niklaus, Tyler Lockwood was here to test a theory," Klaus nods at him to continue. "That the blood of the twins could be used to sire hybrids. He claims that you knew that. Furthermore, that you intended to use this knowledge to build an army."
"And, of course, you assume it's true. I mean, why else would I show interest in my own flesh and blood? A heartbroken little crybaby points his finger at me, and my own brother falls in line, eager to believe it! How quickly you believe the worst." Klaus scolded.
"Niklaus if you would let me explain-"
Klaus cuts him off, "My big brother. So, you doubt my intentions? Well, I can't say I'm surprised, standing next to the noble Elijah, how can I be anything but the lesser brother? A liar, a manipulator, a bastard."
"You know that's not what I meant," Elijah countered.
"You've said all that needs to be said, brother," Klaus reasoned. "I understand that you've been locked in a box, but I would never do that to my children. I thought you of all people would know that."
Klaus stepped forward, ready to attack and bite Elijah due to his intense feelings of betrayal, but Adria stopped him with a soft hand to the shoulder. Klaus stopped in his tracks and let Adria take over.
Adria walked in front of Elijah with disappointment in her eyes. "I told you to drop it and you didn't listen to me, Elijah."
"Adria, you have to understand that I-"
"Save it, Elijah. What's done is done," Adria expressed. "I just hope that the werewolves don't get hungry when they see your bloody lifeless body lying here."
Elijah didn't get the chance to comprehend her words when Adria slit his throat with her knife, and he dropped to the floor dead, his blood pouring out of his neck. Adria turned back towards Klaus with a sheepish smile and Elijah's blood splattered on her face.
Klaus stands completely enamored, "You are breathtaking, Adria."
Adria blushed and walked back to Klaus, interlacing their fingers. "I just killed your brother."
"And you looked hot while doing it."
One of the babies kicked in that moment and Adria glanced down and placed her hand over her belly, her lips curving up into a smile. "Seems like one of our little devils agrees."
Klaus wrapped his arms around Adria's belly, "Of course they do. Now let's get out of here, sweetheart."
The two sped out of the Bayou, stopping to retrieve Adria's car and groceries before heading back home. Adria waltzed through the doors, holding all of her groceries and was met with a big embrace from Rebekah.
"See I told you she would come back. She has the blood on her face and everything. You guys just need to listen to me more." Erik bragged. "Oh, and I found the note, fell off the fridge."
Adria glances back at Klaus and raises her eyebrows in a 'I told you I wrote a note' way. Klaus gave back a crooked smile in response.
"Wait, where's Elijah?" Rebekah wondered.
"Dead in the Bayou," Adria answers matter-of-factly, before adding, "Don't worry, he'll be back."
Adria saunters off, likely to clean her knives, leaving everyone else in the room dumbfounded. Erik breaks the silence by commenting, "Is anyone else excited to see how crazy Adria is going to be once she's a mom. Because I am."
