This was kinda rushed so if there is any mistakes, kindly point them out please!

SIERRA HELD HER BREATH as Rafe approached the bonfire that had just been put out just minutes before, the look on his face showed suspicion, he glanced around and muttered something under his breath before his footsteps trudged away. The group all glanced at each other in fear, both Rafe and Barry carried firearms, that made them scary enough but the hiding spot in the tree wasn't exactly the best but it was all they could do within the time they had to hide.

Sierra looked at JJ, he had a wide-eyed expression that searched the ground below him to see any signs of possible danger, despite Rafe looking everywhere his eyes never drifted up which a bit reassuring but the tension was still extremely thick. The sudden sound of thudding and glasses being broken made the group flinch a bit as they looked towards the house and noticed the way Barry demolished everything in search of them.

When that lead nowhere he marched out the house and looked towards Rafe, "Yo, anything?"

"No, ain't shit in there bro." Barry grumbled angrily as Rafe looked at him anxiously, something was wrong withย  him. It was obvious the moment he shot the Sheriff but the way his behavior was being projected just showed something more. He constantly ran his fingers through his messy hair, his quick breaths that never seemed to slow down, the way his eyes constantly looked around in a paranoid matter, the beads of sweat running down his face, it was obvious that something was seriously wrong, and it had been wrong for far too long.

"No, nothing?"

"No, nothing, Rafe."

"They were obviously just here based off the smoke, man." The blonde snapped, his psychotic behavior chaotically clashed with Barry's calmer behavior.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, great observation, Boy Scout!"

"They're not far, you know?"

"Smokey the bear, look at you, bro!"

"They gotta be around here somewhere." Rafe took another look around the yard and paused, his eyes stared at the engraving in the tree while his mouth held a smirk.

"P4L." Barry mocked as they both laughed, the absolute disrespect made Sierra want to jump down but right now was not the time for level-JJ stupid ideas.

"Well, shit."

"So yo' sister's a pogue for life, huh, Rafe, now who would've thought?" Barry teased as Rafe went weirdly silent, Sierra glanced down and noticed the way the Cameron boy strayed at the engraving with fury. His breaths had begun to quicken while he face contorted into pure angry.

"Shit!" Rafe loudly screamed while releaseing multiple gunshots towards the tree and the branches above him, Sierra's eyes widen as she stepped back behind to avoid getting shot. Multiple of the shots just barley missed them and luckily Barry had pulled Rafe back with an angered tone through his slurred words.

"Chill, your shit, chill out!" The drug dealer yelled, "You're gonna get our asses busted, dog! Let's bounce, let's bounce, let's go!"

After both of they're footsteps had faded away and the engine of the truck had left the driveway the group let out a relived sigh. Sierra immediately glanced up at JJ and ran his fingers through his hair, a regular habit when he was anxious or stressed, the four climbed out and without a thought JJ embraced the girl suddenly.

Sierra nearly tripped from the force of the hug but she smiled and tightly squeezed him in her arms. The blonde pulled away and analyzed her body for any sign of injury, "You always manage to somehow get yourself hurt in these situations." He muttered as Sierra laughed to herself and reached for his cheeks.

"I'm perfectly fine, Goldie Locks." Sierra reassured and planted a kiss on his lips, she once again hugged him and peeked over his shoulder, she noticed the couple behind them had also been talking intensely with fear and worry on their faces. Not one got an ounce of sleep that night worrying that either one of them could return and cause actual harm, finally, once the sun slowly began to rise Pope and Kiara returned.

Before Kiara could tie down the boat the group came sprinting down the dock, "Guys, don't tie up!" JJ quickly ordered as he approached, "We're dippin'."

Pope furrowed his brows at the simplified explanation, "Wait, why?" Both him and Kiara shared the same look of confusion at the sudden rush the teens expressed.

"What? What are you talking about?"

"No, time, we've just gotta head out as soon as we can." Sierra was no help as well with her minimal-detail explanation.

Mean while John assisted Sarah as she slowly limped down the dock, "Were'd you guys go, what happened last night?" The brunette questioned as he finally let go of Sarah and put down there backpack he had.

"We slept on the break, what's up?"

"Slept." JJ lightly giggled despite the circumstances, he lightly patted Pope's shoulder with a smug grin, "Right, yeah."

"We we're up all fucking night, not a single second of goddamn sleep." Sierra muttered angrily while she reached down to get a chocolate bar from her backpack. "The only thing keeping me sane was the Sour album on repeat."

"We gotta get the hell out of here."

"Rafe knows weee here, so we have to leave, like, now." Sarah's short response through her ragged breaths was good enough for Kiara and Pope to begin rushing as well.

โ€”

"Look, if Rafe and Barry know, it's only a matter of time." Kiara began once the events from last night was finally revealed to them, JJ was pacing around the field that the group decided to take cover on, Sierra was still zoned out while silently chewing a half melted chocolate bar, John was staring at god knows what while Sarah winced at the smallest movement from some sort of injury on her mid section.

"Before everyone knows." Pope continued on Kiara's statement while, JJ finally paused his pacing and let out a loud scoff.

"I told you, we should've gone south, man."

"Just stop it!"

"Why does no one ever listen!?"

"I get it, I get it, I understand." John argued trying to somehow ease JJ's growing nerves, yet no one knew how to do it better then the blondes own girlfriend, John glanced over to Sierra who finally finished her second chocolate bar and was licking the extra candy on her finger. "Pirate."

"What." The young girl whined while glancing at her long time friend who just gave her a simple signal with his eyes, at first she didn't understand but then he nodded his head in JJ's direction. With a quick roll of her eyes she stood from the log and grabbed JJ's hand, "I got it."

"It stupid, like I get that I occasionally have bad ideas but, hey, if we were to go south then none of this shit would have mattered!" JJ continued on as Sierra lead him away from the others.

"Let it all out, bud." Sierra sighed as she found a nice little spot where an abandoned bench stood with chipped paint and potential splinters sticking out. "Sit down." JJ huffed and sat down while running a hand through his hair, quickly Sierra caught his hand and the boy paused. "Stop doing that, it's gonna make your hair really greasy."

"Sorry." The Maybank boy awkwardly clapped his hands together as his leg began to bounce uncontrollably, he stared at the dead grass below him, Sierra sat close beside him and laid her head on his shoulder.

"Were you scared?"

"What?"

"When Rafe began to go crazy for Cocoa Puffs at the Chateu, we're you scared that he'd could potentially hurt someone...someone else?" Sierra questioned with a slight frown, JJ's leg suddenly stopped as he let out an exhausted sigh, he laid his own head on top of Sierra's.

"I was fuckin' petrified."

"Ooh, that's a big word, where did you learn it?"

"Harry Potter, the second one." Sierra laughed loudly while JJ just confusingly giggled, "What? Pope made me watch it!"

"I'm sorry, just imagining you watching those movies is absolutely hilarious, I mean, you get so bored when Pope even mentions Star Wars or some shit like that."

"Well no shit, he's talking about some exploring the stars n' shit, but he's talking about the orbit of the...whatever the fuck he talks about." JJ began as he waved his hands around, "Now the whole wizards shit is a little easier to understand, it's just kids with magical sticks."

"Alright, alright." Sierra interrupted, "I don't need another nerd in our group, let's head back."

"I'm not a goddamn nerd!"

"You are falling into phase one, my boy, denial." Sierra whispered while wiggling her fingers in his face with a sly grin, she quickly ran off while JJ followed after with loud protest about his transformation into a nerd. Once they reached the group Sierra immediately noticed the absence of one member, her smile quickly began to fade. "Where the hell is Sarah?"

John looked up at his spot on the log, "She just needed thirty minutes."

JJ furrowed his brows and looked at the water only to notice the missing boat, he threw his hands in the air as he began to go into another mini fit. "You've gotta be shitting me."

โ€”

The remains five Pogue's all distracted themselves with different duties, all except John who stared blankly into the water as he awaited his lovers return. Meanwhile JJ, Kiara, and Sierra all went out to find wood for the fire they were gonna create later on, Pope was doing Pope activities and for a while it was actually peaceful.

"So, now that JB and Sarah are married I just have to know, when is the occasionally-lovely JJ and Sierra gonna get married?" Kiara teasingly questioned as she bent over to pick up another stick. She half expected a sarcastic answer, yet her other half expected some sort of real answer since JJ and Sierra were extremely unpredictable.

The couple paused, they glanced at each other, and for the first time they had no answer. "Wellโ€”" Sierra began but cut herself off with awkward silence.

"Maybe when I get enough money to buy a good ring, I want a real Diamond to be sitting on that finger." JJ answered with a shrug while also giving her a small peck at the top of her head.

Sierra was usually immune to getting flustered by JJ's comment since she dealt with them for so long but his answer truly made her spiral into oblivion. She easily could've blamed the warmth she felt all around her body on the heat but the butterflies going wild in her stomach was unexplainable.

"Aww, that's actually so cute with being sexual, JJ." Kiara grinned while the boy threw her a quick thumbs up, "Very proud." The Carrera girl took one look at Sierra and smirked. "You good, Si?"

"I am absolutely flabbergasted."

"Flabbergast less because we're leaving." JJ replied while walking in John's direction, Sierra shook her head and followed after them quickly.

Once dropping all the wood beside the brunette, at the same time they noticed Sarah approach slowly, relief filled their bodies while they ran towards her both worried and happy.

"Sarah!"

"Oh my god, Sarah." Sierra went in for a hug embrace as she examined her body for anymore injuries, she glanced down at the wound by her stomach, the bandaged didn't look to well which caused the young girl to wince. "We're gonna need to fix that."

The blonde glanced down and shrugged, despite the pain she really didn't want to worry anyone. "It's fine, really."

"No, we're fixing that, that's final."

Sarah chuckled softly and nodded, she was far too exhausted for another argument, "Ok, ok."

"So, how'd it go?" John worryingly questioned as he held her hand tightly, it was evident that he cared so much for her, it was a remarkable asset to have.

"You guys were right." Sarah replied in a defeated tone, her face held a deep frown with forming tears in her eyes. "It didn't work, sorry."

"Welp, then that settles it, guys." JJ loudly spoke as he picked up something's from the boat, "Nowc y'all need to load up in the paddy wagon and get the hell out of Dodge right now."

"Right, you'll need supplies, and you'll have to split as soon as possible." Pope added on as Loara looked off into the distance, her face suddenly formed in panic.

"Guys, I think it's too late."

"They followed you here?" John mumbled while his wife eyes stared at the approaching police boats. "Must've been your father."

"We have to find another way outta here." Pope rushed as JJ dropped his backpack onto the floor and began rummaging through it.

"Stay on the beach with your hands in the air!" One of the officers from the boat demanded into a megaphone.

"Shit, we've gotta run!" Sierra said while backing away slowly, the group didn't have any better ideas so they followed without question. JJ's bag was abandoned on the beach as they began sprinting towards the woods that laid behind the beach. Their shoes got shaped when they had to step over a small pool of water in order to escape.

Sierra let glancing back and noticed the distinct distance between them and the couple, Sarah's injury had made them fall behindโ€”not that it was her fault, but she managed a limp jog with John's support, both physically and emotionally, whatever happened when she left damaged her enough but the whole situation was exhausting her mentality.

"Sarah, you good?" Kiara spoke as she also noticed that they were slightly falling behind, they had now escaped the woods and were running into a field.

"Yeah, you good?"

"Yeah." Sarah breathed out, it wasn't very convincing especially since her face showed just how uncomfortable she actually was as she took each step. The obstacles in their way slowed them down more and more, they had to jump into the water and swim in order to reach the other part of land, by then the cops had been only a few feet behind with dramatically large weapons.

The took refuge behind a tree, Sarah collapsed onto the floor with hard breaths, she gripped her stomach while panic filled her tired eyes. JJ had pulled out a wet bandana and the gun, he did his best to somehow clean off the firearm but Sierra immediately protest as she gripped his wrist, "JJ, no!"

"What else does we have left, Si, nothing!" JJ argued while shoving away her hand he loaded the gun and peaked behind his shoulder. His feet began to move while his body prepared itself, but he was stopped, a eerie silence took over as John tightly held JJ's wrist, the blonde once again tried to move but was harshly pulled back once again.

John took away the gun and immediately tossed onto the grass below, no words were spoken at all until he looked back at Sierra then to JJ. "It's gonna be all right." He nodded with a tight smile, more cars surrounded them, locked them in. There was no way to escape, and even if you tried it would end messy. John hid away the weapon with the dirt and leaves before finally stepping back. The moment came, the moment they all hoped and prayed wouldn't happen, John B was going to surrender himself and give in. It felt like time was moving in slow motion, a feeling in Sierra's stomach grew to the point that she get like vomiting, her eyes search all around, then they made eye contact with Shoupe.

Shit

The older man had such a foreign look in his eye, one that she had never seen in all the years she shared with him, despite it being unrecognizable in his own expression it was still familiar. Disappointment, that god awful emotion that Sierra was met with far too many times now being worn by the last person she could depend on. Her whole body felt was shutting down, her vision was getting blurring while her lips quivered as they held in a sob.

"Hands up!"

Her shaky hands had risen above her head as she kneeled to the ground, footsteps passed right by her, John also had his hands high in the air while the officers before him just glared.

With the amount of authority around the the rest of Pogue's really had no other options, they followed Sierra's movements.

"Don't move!"

"Stay right where you are, keep your hands where we can see them!"

"Listen, Shoupe, I wanna testify!"

"It's about time, get down, do not move a muscle." Shoupe approached cautiously with his gun still pointed directly at him, then officer Thomas approach from behind with aggressive force. The larger officer wrapped an arm around his neck and forcefully dragged him up before throwing him back down.

"Stop it!"

"No!"

"Let him go!"

"Sheriff, what is that? You're gonna let that happen!?"

"Stop it, your fucking hurting him!" Sierra rose to her feet in a hurry but Shoupe put a hand out while when she attempted to interfere.

"Thomas, stand down!" Even though Shoupe was the head of the whole thing Thomas shoved him away before mutter something and swinging a hard punch. The attack caused John to fall to the floor unconscious while Shoupe pulled the officer away with a stern look at a lecture. By the time Thomas finally walked away the rest of the group was detained and put into the cars, the Sheriff looked at Sierra and sighed. "You, young lady, are coming with me." Shoupe muttered angrily while Sierra furrowed her brows, "We have some questions for you."

"About what!?" Sierra spat back but she was met with silence, Shoupe placed her in the back of his truck without another word.
