"No, you can't just open the doors." Clarke protested as a boy Auriella recognized to be Bellamy Blake by the lever. Auriella wasn't focused on the doors right now, she just wanted to find Luka. She scanned the room, finally spotting her and rushing over.
"Luka." She sighed as she wrapped her arms around the smaller girl. Luka melted into her touch, feeling like if she went go, she wouldn't get the chance to hug her sister again.
"I'm glad you're okay." Auriella sighed as she pulled Luka away from her body, keeping her hands along her forearms. She saw how Luka smiled up and her and for the first time in years, she felt whole again.
"The air could be toxic." Clarke's voice pulled Auriella's attention off of Luka and towards the door where Clarke had made her way to the front of.
Auriella hadn't even been thinking of that. She hadn't thought about how, even if they did make it to the ground, they could still die because of the air. She couldn't let Luka die like that.
"If the air is toxic, we're all dead, anyway." Bellamy spoke. Always a light in the darkness the boy was. "Bellamy?" A girl questioned from a ladder as she hopped down, rushing towards him.
"Auriella, what happens if the air is toxic?" Luka pulled her attention back on her. Auriella swallowed, realizing that if the air was toxic, there was no way out of death. "Well let's hope that's not the case but, if it is I guess we're all dead." Auriella saw no point in putting it lightly, after all she knew Luka could handle it, she was strong. She was possibly the strongest sixteen-year-old Auriella had ever met.
"Way to put it gently." Luka scoffed, smirking up at Auriella. "I know, I can deliver heartbreaking news in the gentlest ways." Auriella smiled down to her sister as a small chuckle fell past her lips.
"Where's your wristband?" Clarke questioned, bringing Auriella's attention to Bellamy's wrist. She realized that he didn't have a wristband like the rest of the 100. "Do you mind, I haven't seen my brother in a year?" A girl Auriella knew as Octavia spoke.
"Nobody has a brother." A boy spoke.
"That's Octavia Blake! The girl they found hidden in the floor." A girl screamed. Auriella saw as Octavia's eyes became enraged, sending her charging at the girl. Luckily Bellamy held her back. "Let's give them something else to remember you by." Bellamy spoke.
"Yeah? Like what?" Octavia questioned, shoving Bellamy off her. "Like being the first person on the ground in a hundred years." Bellamy smiled down at his sister. He then walked over to the lever and gripped it.
"Hey, think before you do, Bellamy." Auriella pushed through the crowd, dragging Luka by the hand. She didn't want to get hit by radiation once that door opened. She might risk her life occasionally, but she couldn't risk Luka's.
"Auriella?" Bellamy questioned. He gave her a small smile, realizing who it was. He knew they weren't close, but he admired that she didn't hate him. "What can you do to stop me?" Bellamy continued, pulling the lever.
"Seriously." Auriella mumbled as the door opened, smoke covered the view. Once the smoke cleared and Auriella's eyes adjusted to the light, she saw no radiation. The ground....it was beautiful. It was just like everything she had imagined, green, trees, clear sky, the sun, everything was there.
She gasped as she stepped forward, beside Clarke and watched as Octavia stepped out, taking in a deep breath. Auriella watched as Octavia stopped right before the drop ship door stopped, taking a second before jumping to the ground.
She saw as Octavia threw her hands up, screaming, "We're back bitches." as the rest of the drop ship members rushed out. Auriella stood there, alongside Clarke as she felt everyone around rush out, including Luka. The brunette chuckled slightly as she turned her gaze to Clarke, who looked mesmerized. "We're so dead." Auriella chuckled as she rushed out, grabbing Luka by the waist and lifting her up off the ground.
"Ella, it's amazing." Luka laughed as Auriella placed her down on the ground. Auriella couldn't believe it; they were actually back on the ground. "I know." The brunette breathed out as she took in her surroundings.
Auriella's eyes landed on Clarke and Finn standing by the cliff, looking out. She could tell Clarke had something in her hand, a map? "Hey, stay here, I'll be right back." Auriella kept her gaze on Clarke, making her way towards her.
"You don't like being called princess, do you princess?" Finn questioned as Auriella arrived at Clarke's side. "Nice nickname, dickhead." The brunette chuckled as she looked towards Finn, who's smile had faded.
"Is that your nickname for me?" He questioned her. Auriella shrugged, smirking at him. Somehow, she didn't like him, she couldn't point it out, but she knew she didn't. "I still don't know your name, though." He continued.
"Guess you'll never know." Auriella chuckled as she saw Clarke's gaze fall on hers. "Auriella, right?" The blonde girl pointed to her. The brunette chuckled as she stuck her tongue in-between the side of her teeth and looked down at Clarke.
"Clarke Griffin, good name to memorize, don't you think?" Auriella smirked up at Finn, changing her gaze immediately back to Clarke. She couldn't help but stare, specifically at Clarke's eyes. Now that she really saw them, they really were mesmerizing, she could quite possibly get lost in them if she stared for any longer.
"Do you two see that peak over there?" Clarke broke the eye contact between the two and moved her gaze towards the mountain in front of them. "Yeah." The two said in unison.
"Mount Weather. There's a radiation-soaked forest between us and our next meal." Clarke spoke as all three of them focused their gazes on the mountain in front of them, feeling a sense of dread fall over them. "They dropped us on the wrong damn mountain." Clarke continued. "Great way to start life on the ground." Auriella mumbled.
