Tashikah's eyes hovered over the boys, Jasper and Emmett sparing and Emmett getting dragged around like a rag doll. She chuckles, crossing her arms over her chest. She sat on a large branch up in a tree, away from sight, but they knew she was around. She looked back down just as Emmett flew back in the air, courtesy of Jasper. Emmett wasn't so pleased with this, going on to shout, "Again!"

She tucked her phone back in her boot, choosing to ignore the vibrating messages that were most likely by him. She didn't know why he was being so persistent on speaking to her. Ever since graduation, he had been calling and texting. She had of course been ignoring him, only answering a few to tell him to fuck off. Tashi shook her head, getting rid of any thoughts about the blonde vampire as a jeep pulled up, Edward and Bella inside.

Bella and Edward quickly intertwined hands after getting out, the latter looking down at Bella's wrist where a bracelet laid, her explaining that it was a graduation present. Tashi's eyes hovered over, sensing the wolves arrive. Sam Uley, the pack Alpha in the front, Paul on his right, Jacob flanking his left. Tashi immediately identified Leah's wolf, a small barely noticeable smile rested on her cold lips.

She jumped down from the tree, landing on her feet, the wolves growling at her suddenness. She crossed her arms behind her, tilting her head, a smirk creeping up her lips. "Don't mind me, do continue, Edward." She encouraged, standing off to the side, Paul's wolf growling at her, only causing her to smirk in amusement.

"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms." Edward explained to his pseudo-father. Carlisle didn't seem to mind much, just glad they made an appearance. "They came. That's what matters. Will you translate?" Carlise steps forward, Edward nodding and following him. Bella greeted Jake's wolf, Tashi hissing at the boy in a teasing manner, making him growl a bit.

Tashi turned her attention back to the front, standing a few ways next to Carlisle. Alice took a place next to Bella, Jasper having went to Carlisle's side. "Welcome. Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them. Tashi, being the eldest of us, will have more experience to demonstrate as well." Tashi felt the wolves eyes turn to her for a few seconds before Sam looked at Edward, aware of his gift. "They want to know how the 'newborns' differ from us."

"They're a great deal stronger than us, because their own blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful..than in our first several months of this life." Carlisle finished explaining, giving a nod to Jasper before stepping back.

Jasper's arm were crossed behind his back like he was a soldier. "Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A newborn army, doesn't need thousands like a human army. And no human army could stand against them. The two most important things to remember are, first. Never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. The second..never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that. And you will lose."

Jasper took Tashi's hand, moving her away from Paul's wolf, not needing them to have another "disagreement." Tashi moved to stand near Edward's jeep, more closer to Leah. "Emmett?" Jasper called, Emmett stepping up to the plate with a smirk. Jasper shares a similar smirk, "don't hold back." Tashi holds back a smile, eager to see Emmett get tossed around again. "Not in my nature." Emmett charged at the blonde, Jasper waiting for him as Emmett threw him, the man quickly recovering. He went at him, managing to sweep Emmett's legs from under him. "Never lose focus."

Tashi chuckles, Emmett shooting her a glare as Jasper called Edward and Carlisle forward. The two went at it, Edward seemingly having an advantage with his mind reading. Carlisle slid in the dirt as Edward jumped over him, the two continuing as Jasper observed. Edward pinned Carlisle to the ground, thinking he won. Jasper walks forward, Edward looking at him for approval, "One more thing..." Carlisle then pins Edward down. "Never turn your back on your enemy." Tashi smirks at his sassy tone.

Jasper calls Rosalie forward, himself and the blonde girl going at it. Rosalie swings, Jasper dodging each one he goes to swing, Rosalie flipping backwards and landing on her feet in a spider-man like position. Tashi watched as they continued, Jasper winning. The next person was Alice. Jasper swung, the pixie-cut girl dodging each blow. He sped forward, Alice doing a cartwheel to dodge him again, knowing all of his tricks and tactics. They went at it again, Jasper stopping her, he leaned forward to kiss her until she sped from his arms. Tashi merely glanced up, Alice landing on Jasper's back, she pressed a small peck to his lips.

Tashi practically zoned out, her mind subconsciously flashing to her previous interaction with her mate. Jasper cleared his throat, "Tashikah?" She rolled her eyes at her full name, he was the only one she allowed to use her full name. Walking forward with a smirk, he tensed a bit. "Loosen up, Jas. I'll go easy on you." She winks. Jasper rolled his eyes, charging forward, Tashi jumping, flipping away from him. He turned to face her, Tashi making a motion with her fingers for him to come at her. He ran forward, she blocked his attacks, sweeping his leg, grabbing his arm, she chucked him into the tree.

Jasper groaned, quickly standing up, he noticed her back turned and sped behind her, wrapping his arms around her neck. She grabbed his arms, flipping him over and pinning him to the ground. "You give up yet? I'm growing quite bored." Jasper rolls his eyes, grunting when she pushed her knee further into his back. "I give up." Tashi smirked in victory, she stands back up, offering her hand to him. Jasper takes it, letting his pseudo-sister help him up.

They kept sparing some more, the wolves learning more tactics from Tashi, and Jasper. Tashi stood back to her feet swiftly, she looked to the pack of wolves. "Watching won't get you anywhere. You need to spar with us. You need to feel what it is to fight a vampire. You cannot just solely rely on your pack, as much as you want to. Everyone will be occupied. You'll be on your own. You can fight me, Jasper, Carlisle, or Emmett. We have the best control. We won't hurt you, as long as you don't hurt us."

The wolves all share a look at her words, considering it, but they couldn't do anything without Sam's say. "He says only four with the best control will spar. Sam, Jacob, Paul, and Embry." Edward said to her, having read his mind. Tashi shook her head, "not Paul. His anger takes over, I don't trust him to not bite me. I want Leah." She stated. Edward looks to wolves, he could hear Paul's thoughts and he was certainly not pleased with Tashi's statement, even though it was maybe true.

"Okay, he's agreed. Sam and Carlisle first." Edward said, backing up as the two step forward.

Tashi stood a few ways off, watching and directing the fight, telling the wolves what not to do. Jasper added him input at parts, explaining what they could do. Jasper and Embry sparred next, the wolf making mistakes that Jasper would show him how to escape it. Emmett and Jacob went next, not a super smart paring, but it was an entertaining spar session. Jacob, as expected, made tons of rookie mistakes. Tashi told him exactly what do to, directing him on how to beat Emmett. Jacob actually listened for once, and he defeated Emmett.

Next up was Tashi and Leah. The vampire smirked as she beckoned the wolf girl forward. "Let's do this, pretty girl." Leah charged forward, tackling Tashi down but the vampire threw her off, quickly getting to her feet and running at the wolf. Leah jumped over her, and Tashi climbed up the tree, jumping onto Leah's back and flipping her over, they rolled around in the dirt, Tashi holding down the wolf and barring her fangs. "You lose, darling. Try again."

Leah growled, kicking Tashi off of her so she was thrown into the tree. Tashi groaned, the wolf running at her. She slid under her but Leah jumped off the tree and tackled the vampire down, holding her down and barring her teeth. Tashi smirked up at her wolf, "you win. See how easy that was?" She winks. Leah climbed off of her, her eyes softening as Tashi got to her feet and brushed herself off. "Don't worry, darling. You couldn't hurt me if you tried."

"I think that concludes today's lesson. Thank you for coming and cooperating." Carlisle says. Sam nods at him, before the wolves retreat. Leah gives one more last look at Tashi before running off with her pack.

"What was that all about?" Rosalie questioned, coming over to Tashi was watching where Leah ran. "What do you mean?" Rosalie scoffs under her breath, she knew Tashi was doing stuff what would not go over well with them, and the wolf pack. "Don't lie to me. You've been sneaking off, not telling anyone where you're going. And the way that wolf girl was looking at you right now, like she actually cared if you were hurt, tells me there's something going on between you two."

Tashi turned to the girl, looking down at her as Rosalie was a bit shorter than her. "Why do you care if there was? You gonna something about it? Cause if you're not, there's no point in talking about it, yes?" Her jaw clenched at the taller girl, watching with a sharp glare as Tashi walked off into the forest. Emmett approached his wife, setting a hand on her back, "you talk to her?" She nods, "she's gonna get that wolf girl killed, or worse."

"That's only if Caius finds out," Emmett shrugs, but Rosalie was still on edge about it.

"Come in." Tashi pulled a shirt over her head, the door opening, she turned around to see Jasper. "What do you need me for?" She questioned, walking over to her bookshelf and turning the stereo off. "Edward has decided not to fight. He's going to be on the mountain top with Bella, protecting her. I want you to accompany me as we spread Bella's scent around the field and test a theory. It'll give us an advantage." Jasper informed, watching as she pulled open the shelf, revealing her hidden closet.

"So, he and Bella will be alone, and vulnerable? That's a bit...stupid, no? This is Victoria's doing, so she's gonna know, and she'll be after them. We won't be able to protect them." Tashi said knowingly, searching for a coat that matched her outfit. "Edward can protect Bella," Jasper said, although her concerns did make sense. She raised a brow, looking at him over her shoulder, "can he now? You know who had to protect the girl in Italy? I did. I put my ass on the line for her because he was too weak. Tell me how he's supposed to fight Victoria and worry about the girl at the same time? Now that, it just won't work."

"What do you propose we do? We can't keep Bella around the fight." Jasper says, crossing his arms over his chest as she pulled on her coat.

"I'm well aware. I don't purpose anything. I'm just simply pointing out how unreliable Edward can be. If he wants that girl to live, someone else should be there." She picked up her phone and tucked it into her boot before switching off the lights. "We'll discuss with Edward. Maybe we can get one of the wolves to stay back." He said, and she nods, following him out of the bedroom.

Arriving at the field, Tashi eyes landed on Jacob, accompanied by Leah who had requested to go upon finding out Tashi would be there. "You're not fighting? What, did you pull a muscle or something?" Jacob questioned, directing his words to Edward if it wasn't clear. "He's doing it for me, okay?" Bella spoke, but Jacob just shrugged it off, "whatever."

"Just tell us the plan," Leah spoke before Jacob could make another snide comment at the mind reading vampire.

"This field will give us an advantage in battle. We need to lure the newborns with Bella's scent, but it needs to end here." Jasper informed, looking between Leah and Jacob. "Edward and I are going to a campsite. Even if he carries me, they'll still pick up on our scents," Bella adds. "Your stench, however, is revolting," Edward comments. Jacob looked annoyed as he replies, "dude, you really don't wanna start comparing stinks."

"What he means is that your scent will mask hers if you carry her," Tashi said, really not in the mood to see these two argue of the girl.

"Done," Jacob agrees without hesitation.

"This is not a good idea," Edward said, doubts already creeping up in his mind. "Edward, they won't want to get anywhere near his...odor." Jasper says, his emphasis on the last word causing Tashi to chuckle. "Okay. Let's just try it." Bella walks over and Jacob picks her up with zero struggle, "eau de wolf coming up." Edward's jaw clenched, still in disdain with the plan, "run." The werewolf runs off, Bella safely in his arms.

Jasper runs off, making sure the plan would work. Tashi cleared her throat, Leah's eyes falling on her. "We need another wolf to accompany Bella and Edward at the campsite, just for extra precautions." Leah looked down in thought, linking her mind with Sam's so she could ask. Tashi watched, studying her reaction, the way her jaw clenched and her eyes twitched. "He'll be safe with us, Leah," Edward reassured, but his words didn't mean anything to her.

"What's wrong?" Tashi questioned, oblivious to what he meant.

"Sam said Seth can join us at the campsite," Edward explained. Tashi pursed her lips, she knew how much Seth meant to Leah, and if he got hurt, that would physically and mentally destroy Leah. Tashi took a step forward, Leah looking up from the green grass to face her. "I'll go with them. I'll keep him safe. I swear to you, no harm will come to him. I promise, he's safe with me. I would never let anything happen to him."

Edward squints his eyes, he wasn't reading her mind because she had already threatened him about that, so the interaction was very confusing. "You promise?" Leah questioned, it's not that she didn't trust her, but she was always on edge when it came to her brother. "I give you my word." Tashi swore, and Leah nods, accepting it. "I'll go speak with Sam." She nods, watching as Leah ran off into the woods.

Before Edward had a chance to question the interaction, Jasper made his presence known. "All I picked up was wolf stench. No Bella." He noticed that unconvinced expression his sibling wore and was quick to reassure him, "this will work."

"Great."

"We have the whole night to ourselves. What do you want to do?" Tashi smiled against the girl's lips, curling her fingers gently, causing a soft moan to escape her lips, warm breath fanning over her cold face. "I don't care what we do. I just wanna spend it with you." Leah breathed out. Tashi pressed a kiss to her neck, "come for me first. That's it, baby," she praised, curling her fingers into her, feeling her clench around her, her name passing her lips breathlessly as she worked into her.

"Fuck, Tash. I'm gonna come." Leah moaned, Tashi moving to connect their lips, she curled her fingers, hitting the perfect spot in her that always made her come undone. "So good for me, pretty girl. So perfect." Tashi smiled, pressing a kiss to her cheek and climbing out of bed. She walked into the bathroom and switched on the tub, letting cold water flow into bath. Seeing as Leah's body was 10x hotter than a normal human, she took cold showers, and baths. She dropped in some bath salts that smelled of roses.

Walking into the bedroom, she picked up the werewolf girl and carried her to bathroom. The girl climbed in with wobbly legs, still trying to regain her even breath. "I'll uh, I'll be out in the living room. My wardrobe is open for you. Wear anything you like. If you wish, you can stay the night." Leah nods, the vampire pressing a kiss to her head before leaving. She knew Tashi had lots of trouble with emotional connection, and relationships, so she never pushed her. After care was something Tashi was also still new too. She never cared for it before, because she didn't want to develop an emotional connection. But that was already too far gone with Leah.

Tashi sat at her piano she had in the corner of the living room, the large glass windows giving her a beautiful scenery. She hummed to herself, her fingers pressing into the tiles. "I've waited a hundred years. But I'd wait a million more for you. Nothing prepared me for. What the privilege of being yours would do. If I had only felt the warmth without your touch. If I had only seen how you smile when you blush. Or how you curl your lip when you concentrate enough. I would have known what I was living for all along. What I've been living for."

Her singing halted as she felt Leah sit down next to her. "Is that an original?" She asked. Tashi nods with a bit of hesitation. "Yes. It's mine. I uh, I wrote it for a...friend. He's far away. We don't talk." Leah smiled sadly, resting her head on Tashi's shoulder. "Keep going. I like hearing you sing." She encouraged, and with some consideration, she continued the song.

"Your love is my turning page. Where only the sweetest words remain. Every kiss is a cursive line. Every touch is a redefining phrase. I surrender who I've been for who you are. For nothing makes me stronger than your spiteful heart. If I had only felt how it feels to be yours. Well, I would have known what I've been living for all along. What I've been living for. Though we're tethered to the story we must tell. When I saw you, well I knew we'd tell it well. With a whisper, we will take the vicious seas. Like a feather, bringing kingdoms to their knees."

"That's a beautiful song." Leah smiled, her eyes brightening, and as beautiful as that was to see, Tashi had guilt eating up at her, because the song wasn't about Leah. It was about someone else. Another person who had her heart in the palm of his hand without even knowing it. Before she could speak, Leah's phone went off and the wolf girl sighs as she seen the messages on the small screen. "It's my mom. I have to go, I'm sorry."

"That's alright, darling. Go be with your family. I'll be alright." Tashi assured. Leah smiled and pulled her into a sweet kiss before standing up from the stool. "See you tomorrow. I love you." Not even giving a second thought to her words, Leah pushed open the glass window and hopped out. It wasn't until she shifted did she start to process her words. On her way home, she prayed that Tashikah felt the same way about her, and hopefully would return the three words.

Tashi sat there, processing the three words. She wondered if it was true. Did Leah actually love her, or was it just instinct? It couldn't have been. It had to be real. It had to mean something. Leah never said anything she didn't mean. She wasn't given much time to process before there was a knock on the door. She furrowed her brows, Leah never used the front door. Maybe she was just back to apologize, or explain herself. It had to be that.

Tashi walked down the small stairway and pulled open the door. It was definitely not Leah.
