RAVEN LET OUT A SIGH AS SHE PROPPED HER ELBOW ON THE TABLE. "So, uh, Peter decided to bring the purple device to school." She gave the girls a tight-lipped smile.

Natalie rolled her eyes at this as Juanita gave him the benefit of the doubt. "It's not like anyone's gonna notice him with it."

"We noticed-"

"That's because we have to keep an eye on him. He's like a frickin' puppy. You take your eye off of him for one second, and then he's right there making a mess out of your shoes." Natalie mumbled as she kept her focus on her phone. "Kinda like right now, he's in the hallway with one other person and... two more people who just entered the school." Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as everyone in the school is usually shown on her phone with a teal-like dot whilst people unknown to her is shown as red.

"Looks like we're gonna have to stop the puppy from making a mess of things." Raven shrugged as she stood up.

Juanita sat her back down as she shook her head, "No, it seems like he's got in control. If he didn't he would've contacted us." She reminded, giving them a look as they sighed defeatedly. "I'll tell you guys what we're gonna do, but I don't want to hear any complaints." She stated, turning her attention towards the light brunette, "Especially from you, Nat."

Natalie gasped in disbelief, "I do not-"

"When I tell you the plan, yeah," Juanita nodded as she scrunched her face a bit for emphasis. "you might."

Natalie dramatically sighed as she stuck out her pinky finger, "Fine." She said in defeat as Raven chuckled triumphantly whilst watching Juanita wrap her pinky around the light brunette's.

Juanita pressed her thumb against Natalie's, giving her another look. The light brunette let out another sigh, sealing the pinky promise with a small kiss to her thumb, and Juanita did the same to her thumb afterward.

"So... what is this plan of yours?" Raven asked only to earn a small smirk from Juanita.

NATALIE CROSSED HER ARMS AS SHE GLARED AT JUANITA, "I hate this plan." She muttered as she sat on the bed along with the other girls.

They all wore simple disguises to blend in, but yet also keep their identity hidden. It wasn't your typical put a baseball hat and sunglasses type of disguise. They wore different colored contacts, hair colored wigs, and clothing styles that they wouldn't normally wear at school.

"You said no complaints." Juanita reminded.

"Yup, you even pinky swore. You know how she is with her pinky promises." Raven chimed in. "Now just sit quietly and wait for Peter and his friend to come home."

"And he's coming in 3... 2..."

"So, like, did you ever step on the edge of a building and see how far you can shoot your webs?"

"Ned, how many-" He stumbled backward stammering on his words. "Uh, H-Hi, Hello. Um, what-" He cleared his throat, scratching the back of his neck nervously as his friend stood awkwardly beside him. "What are you guys doing here?" He asked as he went to quickly shut the door after him.

"Peter, why do you have pretty girls in your room?" Ned asked quietly as he nervously waved at them.

"Ned-"

"Um, thank you." Raven smiled taking the compliment. "And to answer your question, we're here because you promised us something." She crossed her arms against her chest.

Peter's eyes widened, "Right! Yeah, yeah..." He scurried to take off his backpack, placing it on the floor gently. "So, in shop class, I was taking the machine apart so I can figure out what the purple glowy thingy was and Ned noticed-"

"It was connected to all these microprocessors." He finished Peter's sentence. "Which was connected to an inductive charging plate. It's what I use to charge my toothbrush." He smiled proudly after explaining everything.

Peter nodded, "Whoever is making these weapons is obviously combining alien tech with ours." He stated.

"Yeah, we sort of figured as much," Natalie spoke up.

"Oh," Peter said softly, nodding his head. "Well, uh... Anyway, the guys who probably made these types of weapons, they showed up at my school."

"They were like big scary guys." Ned confirmed Peter's story as he nodded his head, "They even dropped him in a lake." He stated.

"They were there, Ned," Peter whispered towards his best friend as his eyebrows furrowed.

Ned's eyes grew wide in realization as he let out an audible gasp, taking a seat on the swivel chair. Peter cleared his throat, "Uh... Anyways, I followed the guys and put a tracker on them."

"Great, so where are they?" Raven asked, her gaze narrowing at him.

Peter rolled up his sleeves, taking off what seemed to be some sort of bracelet or watch. He clicked a button as it projected a hologram model of the city, handing it over to Juanita.

"This is so awesome," Ned mumbled in awe.

"I know, right?"

"What kind of device is this?" Juanita asked, completely focused on the device. "Is this like a watch or?"

"Not really, no. Uh, those are my web-shooters. I press this button here and the webs come out from here," he pointed below the button where the webs come out of. "And the tracker came from here." He stated as he pointed at the front side of the web-shooter.

"Looks like they're in Brooklyn." Natalie pointed out as Ned pokes at the model and it becomes more defined.

"Should we go after them?" Peter asked eagerly.

The girls shook their heads in unison as Ned's eyes narrowed at Peter.

"That'd be too predictable," Raven answered as Peter nodded in understanding. "Also, it seems like they're still on the move... so, we might be here for a while." She continued.

Natalie inwardly rolled her eyes, letting out a deep sigh as she threw herself back onto Peter's bed. "Yeah, a long while." She mumbled, earning herself a little nudge from Juanita.

"I'll go get some snacks and you can all make yourselves at home... I guess," Peter stated quietly more to himself nervously as he left the Angels alone with Ned.

The room fell silent as Ned swiveled in the chair, "So... Do you work with the Avengers?" He asked with a sheepish smile.

The Angels shared a look amongst each other before Juanita decided to speak up, "No, not exactly." She shook her head.

"We sort of work for Tony Stark." Raven chimed in without missing a beat.

"Oh, that's cool!" Ned whispered excitedly. "Y'know, I'm sort of Peter's guy in the chair-"

"Ned, how many times do I have to say that I don't need a 'guy in the chair'." Peter groaned in embarrassment as he walked into his room with a huge bag of Doritos.

Ned slumped in the chair as he rolled his eyes at his friend. "Fine. But don't come running to me when you need help from the 'guy in the chair'."

"Anyways..." Juanita cleared her throat, "it looks like they're still on the move- a pretty slow one, too- so, let's just work on something else as a distraction." She suggested as everyone in the room nodded in agreement.

A few hours had passed as Ned was still studying the hologram with Juanita. Peter was hanging upside down from the ceiling, eating chips as Raven would lift up the bag every now and then for him to reach. Natalie was laying on the floor occupying herself with one of Peter's comic books that were lying around.

"Staten Island." Ned called out to the group.

Natalie yawned, closing the comic book she just finished as she checked the time on her phone. "Uh, where's your bathroom?" She asked Peter.

"It's down the hall, to your right." He answered without looking at her.

Natalie nodded in silence, leaving the room to the bathroom to make a quick call to her foster parents.

Juanita and Raven both shared a look, deciding to talk to Natalie about it later.

It was already nighttime as Ned and Raven lied on the floor playing a card game whilst Peter was working at his desk. Juanita sat on the bed, still studying the hologram as Natalie sat quietly on the bed against the wall.

"Leaving Jersey." Juanita called out as Peter pressed a button from his web shooter, projecting a characterized image of his mask on the wall.

"You've got your own little spider-signal?" Ned asked in awe as he gazed at the wall.

"I guess. It's pretty cool," Peter gleamed excitedly.

"It's awesome!"

"Hah! I win." Raven spoke up suddenly.

"What? No fair!"

"It's not my fault you got distracted." She shrugged with a smirk. "I'm up for a rematch if you are."

"You're on."

About two and a half hours passed and Ned crashed on Peter's bed with the hologram model still loosely in his hand. Juanita's head rested on Raven's lap as they were also asleep. Peter fell asleep on Natalie's shoulder as her head was rested on top of his head. The sound of a rapid beep startled them awake as Raven and Juanita noticed the state of Peter and Natalie.

Ned sat up, wearing the Spider-Man mask as he grabbed the hologram model beside him. "They stopped." He mumbled.

Peter sat up, a little groggy as he eyed the hologram. "Maryland?"

Natalie sat up as well, rubbing the tiredness out of her eyes as she eyed the hologram as well. Raven and Juanita sleepily made their way toward the hologram to get a better look at it.

"What's there?"

"I don't know, Evil Lair?"

"They have a lair?"

"Dude, a gang with alien guns run by a guy with wings? Yeah, they have a lair."

"Badass." Ned nodded in amazement.

Natalie rolled her eyes at the conversation between the two, "You guys watch too many movies." She muttered as she shook her head. "They wouldn't have a lair that's hours away from here. If anything, it's probably a heist or a meet-up." She pointed out groggily.

"Huh." Ned nodded, taking in the new information as he looked at his friend, "How are you gonna get there if it's, like, 300 miles away?" He asked.

"He's not." Raven pointed out.

"What-"

"Not exactly." Juanita finished Raven's sentence before Peter could complain even further. "You have that decathlon right?"

Natalie shook her head rapidly, wishing Juanita would stop talking. "I don't think that's a good idea."

"No, she's actually right. It's not too far from D.C." Peter answered, completely disregarding Natalie's comment.

Natalie shot daggers at Juanita for even suggesting Peter to not only go along with their mission but to also come back to the decathlon team just to leave afterward. "You really think the decathlon team is just gonna welcome him back after leaving so suddenly?"

"How did you know about that?" Peter's eyebrows furrowed at the Angels.

"We have a file in order to keep track of you," Raven answered simply with a small shrug.

"Fair enough." He breathed out, turning towards Ned, "Looks like we're going to D.C."

"Awesome!" Ned responded with excitement.
