RAVEN PUSHED UP HER DARK GLASSES AS SHE LOOKED OVER AT NATALIE, giving her the signal by grazing her pointer finger down her nose and then pulling her left ear. "Three o'clock." She told Juanita, who stood next to Raven, watching Natalie in full disguise walking over towards the suspicious guy.
Natalie tripped over the man as he grabbed a secure hold of her, saving her from the fall, "Oh, no. I am so sorry!" She apologized with an angelic smile whilst placing a hand on his chest pocket. "I'm such a klutz." She laughed with a shake of her head.
"It's alright, miss." The man said with a smile as Natalie flicked her long fake blonde hair behind her shoulder.
"There's no way she got his key card." Raven said in disbelief as Natalie discreetly moved her hand behind her slightly showing off the man's key card that was held in her hands.
"Oh she got the card." Juanita said lowly after taking the key card from Natalie's hand and going to the back of the room to see some sort of illegal deal going on. She gave the men a fake smile before continuing her way to the little bar section and fixed them a simple refreshment.
"Where's Eliora?" One of them asked Juanita.
"No lo sΓ©." She answered with a thick accent waving her hands around with random gestures. "She go party late last night. No show up." She shook her head. "Le dije que no party, pero you know Eliora. Ella es una loca."
The man started laughing with a sharp nod, "Muy cierto." He answered before going back to the conversation with the his client.
Juanita eyed the case the man was trying to sell, keeping herself at a safe speaking distance from the men. "We have a problem." She whispered toward her necklace, taking a quick glance at the familiar case.
"What is it, Nani?" Natalie asked softly.
"There's a case in here with some sort of tech that kind of looks like a rip off of Tony's." Juanita informed them quietly before giving the men their drinks.
"You know, I'd hate to put a bullet through a pretty face like yours." The man said, having a firm grip on Juanita's wrist.
"Raven, Nani's been made." Juanita heard Natalie say to Raven through their earpiece.
"Oh, sweetie... don't get too confident." Juanita clicked her tongue. "That face isn't too pretty." She kept her fake accent. The man groaned in annoyance throwing punch her way as she dodged it swiftly, causing the man to punch his client straight in the face. "Now, that's not the way to keep clients." She taunted, grabbing the handle of the case before knocking the man out cold whilst twisting the client's arm behind his back to pin him down against the table. Her elbow hitting the side of his neck hard enough to make him pass out.
She huffed out a sigh, leaving the room to meet up with Raven and Natalie only to see the room with all of the men knocked out cold on the floor. "What the hell?" She asked rhetorically with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, no. We're good." Raven teased, panting slightly. "We totally had this under control."
Juanita nodded, "Great." She gave her a tight-lipped smile in response. "I think we should go."
"I agree." Natalie nodded, following suit after Juanita whilst giving a look toward Raven. "Taking bad guys down sure is making me hungry." She tried to change the subject. "Who's up for some Delmar's sandwiches?" She asked as Juanita left a note for the police.
"Sounds good to me." Raven shrugged, "We, uh, gotta stop by our little hide out for our disguises though." She reminded her best friends.
Juanita pointed towards Raven in agreement, "Yes, please. This wig is getting on my nerves."
Natalie nodded, "The best of both worlds, my ass." She sighed as the girls laughed at her sudden response. "What? I'm being serious."
"We know, that's why we found it funny, Nat." Raven laughed whilst shaking her head lightly, "Let's just go."
After the Angels went to their shared hide out place that Tony had made for them and changed out of their disguises, they made their way to Delmar's little deli-grocery shop. The Angels went their separate ways to get each other what they needed. Raven went to get their drinks, Juanita got any chips or snacks, and Natalie ordered their usual sandwiches.
"If it isn't one of my favorite customers!" Mr. Delmar called out with a contagious bright smile.
"One of them?" Natalie smiled back, "I thought I was your only favorite customer." She said playfully with her arms crossed.
Mr. Delmar shook his head slightly, "That wouldn't be fair to my other favorite customer, now would it?" He chuckled.
She rolled her eyes playfully, "Whatever, I'm your only loyal and trusting customer, and you know it. I'll have a number five, no pickles please, then two number threes and have one of them with parmesan, thanks." She ordered as he nodded telling one of his employees to make them.
"How's the family?" He asked.
Natalie shrugged nonchalantly, "They're okay, I guess." She said softly as Raven and Juanita placed their things on the counter.
"Will that be all, girls?" He asked them as they nodded in unison as Natalie pulled out some money to pay for the food, snacks, and drinks. Mr. Delmar shook his head softly, "It's on the house." He smiled sympathetically.
Natalie nodded hesitantly as the other girls smiled thankfully and grabbed their belongings, leaving the small deli-grocery shop. Natalie put her snack and drink in her small backpack before unwrapping her sandwich to start eating.
"What was that about?" Juanita asked before taking a bite of her sandwich, eyeing Natalie cautiously.
The light brunette shook her head, her face scrunching up slightly. "It was nothing. He just looks out for me sometimes, y'know, with the whole foster parents situation." She shrugged nonchalantly, waving off their sympathetic gazes.
Raven nodded, taking in what Natalie had said. "How are they?" She asked as Juanita nudged her, only for Raven to give her a look.
"They're nice." Natalie nodded, taking a small bite of her sandwich whilst shrugging before continuing. "It's just, I don't want to get my hopes up, y'know? If anything though, I have you guys and Mr. Delmar, and I'm grateful for that." She smiled softly.
Raven laughed as Juanita cooed, "You're so cheesy." Raven nudged Natalie slightly.
"But we love you for that." Juanita finished her sentence wrapping them both in for a group hug.
"Aw, you guys." Natalie pouted, "I love you guys, too... but you guys are squishing me and my sandwich that I would love to finish." She complained playfully as tried to pry them both off of her, earning a light smack from both of them.
They both let go of the hug, Raven deciding to speak up first, "We go back to school tomorrow." She remembered as she let out a sigh.
"More like hell." Natalie corrected as she finished her sandwich. Juanita narrowed her eyes at her response, earning a shrug from the light brunette. "What? We're Angels, it fits." She answered simply.
Juanita rolled her eyes, "Let's just go to my place and watch a movie, yeah?" She offered as the other girls nodded in agreement, taking a train to Juanita's house.
