After Thena had luckily convinced Sersi to resume in their plan to stop the emergence and Phastos came up with the brilliant idea of using the sphere to activate the Uni-Mind, the remaining of the group walked up to their respective places near the wall to start the plan.

(Y/N) gave her back to the wall and the symmetrical golden circles and lines formed all across her body, changing her regular clothes into her ocean blue gown with the sea green details, and she placed her hand near her shoulder to allow the bracelet to close in her wrist while the others did the same.

The point of emergence came from an isolated island with an active volcano that Makkari had found, where supposedly Sprite and Ikaris were hiding to protect the emergence, but the two looked up to see the Domo closing in through the clouds, thinking they were all there. Thena was the one that offered to stay behind and distract Ikaris for a while until they figured out what to do.

Makkari helped the others cross through the dirt until they stopped to stare at the volcano, which was letting out smoke through the top.

"It's time to put a god to sleep," Sersi said.

At this, (Y/N) clicked her bracelet and the others did too, causing it to slightly hover over her wrist and spin rapidly while a gold outline formed all around her body, making her levitate. The same happened to Makkari, Sersi and Druig, who were on her sides, and the gold lines connected in the middle and form an enormous glow in between.

A few seconds passed and another glowing outline connected to the other, which supposedly belonged to Thena from the inside of the ship. This gave Druig the ability to form a gold dome around the four of them in the ground.

But just when (Y/N) began to think they had the advantage, the familiar laser beam from Ikaris's eyes hit Druig in the back, knocking him forward and breaking the connection.

"I should've done this five centuries ago," Ikaris sneered as he reached out for Druig and held him by the throat, flying the both of them in the air.

Ikaris held a tight grip on him and (Y/N) wasn't fast enough to react, watching hopelessly as Ikaris threw Druig back to the ground before firing another laser beam directly to his chest, burying him into the dirt. Before (Y/N) could even think her thoughts through, a scream broke out from her throat as she watched how Druig disappeared from her sight.

The Domo approached with a higher speed, but Ikaris flew towards it and in no time he burned through the top and bottom of the ship with his laser beams, causing it to loose altitude abruptly and collapse close to where the girls were standing, nearly knocking into them if it wasn't for Makkari that moved the three of them away.

"What about โ€” " (Y/N) saw how the ship collapsed near the ocean but Makkari cut her words off, rushing over to the ship to pull Thena and Phastos out safely.

Everyone turned around at the figure of Ikaris softly hitting the sand with his feet, flicking his gaze from across the group with an uninterested look, but he only received glares in return, the hardest one coming from (Y/N).

"Druig's gone," Ikaris said. "It's over."

Makkari recognized the fiery look in her eye and signed to warn her. "(Y/N), โ€” "

(Y/N) didn't allow her to finish since she extended her hand towards the ocean standing a few feet away and summon an enormous wave of water to hurl down at Ikaris, seeing how he tried to fly away, but she didn't let him get that far.

With a raised hand, she used the water from before to create a whirlpool and hurl it to his feet, using the water to drag him down and stop him from leaving. This angered Ikaris even more, since he used his laser beam to try to free himself but (Y/N) pulled him down to the dirt when he did so.

Both were too distracted in the fight to notice the sound of electricity crackling and how the volcano erupted strangely, which caused several rocks to come crashing down into the ground with intense speed, but (Y/N) let go of Ikaris for one second to stop one rock from crashing into her and he pushed her back with a laser beam.

(Y/N) rolled on the dirt and she panted, still glaring at Ikaris as he dared to walk over to her.

"You know, I never really liked you," Ikaris confessed with an annoyed growl.

"The feeling's mutual," (Y/N) sneered and stood up, clasping her hands together to form a water sphere in her hand and direct it at him, drenching him from head to toe, before converting the liquid water into small ice spears that pinned him down to the nearest rock.

Ikaris tugged and pulled on the ice but it didn't budge, so he used his laser beam to cut through it and then fire at (Y/N) again, all while Thena, Phastos and Makkari came to her aid.

Phastos used his gadgets to fire several blasts from them while Thena summoned her shield to block the laser beam that Ikaris was firing at her and Makkari helped (Y/N) up, all completely oblivious to the fact that the leader of the Deviants had risen from the shore in search for them.

Makkari rushed over to Ikaris to deliver punch after punch as (Y/N) raised both of her hands to throw two identical blasts of water directly at him, which resulted in him falling to his knees before Thena kicked him back against the rocks.

She jumped in the air and raised her sword to slash it across his chest, but Ikaris was able to move out of the way with a cry, "Thena, stop!"

He threw her aside like a rag doll but Makkari ran over to her in time to catch her in midair and set her down in the sand without causing major injuries. Ikaris didn't back down and fired his laser again only to have Thena raise her shield to block it on her knees while Phastos extended his arms to let his gadgets fly free around Ikaris.

Ikaris fired at every single one of them in the air and then moved back to shoot at Phastos and (Y/N), who created a barrier to protect them from the blast. Makkari ran again but this time she caused the sand to jump up because of the movement and allowing Thena to sneak up on Ikaris to throw him back to the ground.

Before Ikaris could hit the ground, the Deviant from before jumped in and punched him square in the face, both rolling in the sand before the Deviant stood in its full height and growled, running up to Ikaris before Phastos blasted it back.

"Why are you helping Ikaris?" Thena questioned as she twirled her sword in her hand.

"We can't let it absorb our powers," Phastos tried to reason.

The Deviant seemed to smirk and formed a fist with one of its hands, and a certain kind of golden glove appeared around its hand the same way it did with Gilgamesh. At the sight of this, Thena's posture shifted completely as she summoned her weapons again and her glare intensified deeply.

"Thena, he's trying to goad you. Don't โ€” "

Makkari rushed up to the Deviant and ran in a circle around it, making the sand rise and create a tornado around the creature while (Y/N) backed her up by raising her hands to strengthen it and creating some sort of mud. This made the Deviant grow desperate, and it stumped hard on the ground with all its strength, which knocked Makkari, Thena and (Y/N) off their feet because of the impact.

The Deviant ran up to the closest person he spotted and that was Makkari, approaching her nearly unconscious form with long tubes coming out of his back attempting to claw her flesh and absorb her powers.

"Makkari!" (Y/N) cried out and blasted the Deviant off with a water blast, throwing it away into a cave in the shore.

(Y/N) came up to Makkari to help her up, not seeing how Thena didn't waste a second and slowly made her way towards the cave with her sword in hand, ready to pay her revenge by killing that Deviant once and for all.

Ikaris stood up and made his way slowly towards Phastos. "Where's Sersi?"

"You always did underestimate her," Phastos replied.

Ikaris's eyes widened at this and tried to fly away towards the direction of the volcano, where he supposed that Sersi was, but Phastos saw this coming.

"Oh, no. Not so fast," he extended a hand and a device with a rope wrapped itself around Ikaris's ankles and restrained him from flying away, causing Phastos to tug on the rope to pull Ikaris back to the sand with a thud. "Boss."

Ikaris was pinned down to the ground by several other devices identical to the one around his ankles, pulling him by the wrists, shoulders and neck as he attempted to free himself from them with his laser beam until he noticed that it was also stopping him from doing that too.

"I don't know about you, but this is really satisfying, right?" Phastos grinned.

"Let me go, Phastos! I can't let her do this!" Ikaris pleaded.

"I don't think so," Phastos shook his head. "I've been wanting to clip your wings for a long time, Ikaris!"

โ˜† โ•โ•โ•โ• โ‹†โ˜…โ‹† โ•โ•โ•โ• โ˜†

The water and the ground began to rise and shake abruptly in a fast rate, this effects running throughout the shore of the island and (Y/N) could see in first line how a gold statue began to rise out of the ocean with a strange sound, which meant only one thing: it was the emergence.

Phastos and (Y/N) stared at it with some sort of amazement in their eyes while Ikaris did the same thing from his spot on the ground, panting to catch his breath as Phastos extended his hand again and tightened the restrains on his neck.

"Come on, Sersi," (Y/N) pleaded under her breath, hoping that her friend was able to stop this quickly before it caused more damage.

After the biggest part of the Celestial Tiamut, which was supposedly the head, met the clouds in the sky, electricity cracked and the clouds turned grey from a distance, the loud and strange growling noises grew louder much to (Y/N)'s dismay.

Ikaris let out a straining sound from the ground and was finally able to break free from the ropes with a loud cry, firing a long laser beam out of his eyes as he knocked Phastos off his feet. Without looking back, Ikaris flew after Sersi before anyone could stop him, already fearing the worst.

The grey from the clouds began to expand all over the island, and ashes from the volcano fell down onto (Y/N)'s hair as she felt the golden outlines from before wrapping themselves around her form and lifting her off the ground along with the rest of the group, activating the Uni-Mind all over again.

A gold line escaped from their bodies and connected into a single one with a bright light, giving Sersi enough strength and power to use her abilities to freeze Tiamut in place and stop him from breaking through the Earth completely as the clouds began to turn back into their original color.

The white covered over the gold skin of the Celestial like a blanket, and the golden outlines disappeared from the group as fast as they came, setting them down into the ground safe and sound. An eerie silence filled the air once more over the island as the white had expanded entirely, freezing Tiamut in place forever.

In a matter of minutes, Sersi had walked into the shore of the island to join the remaining Eternals by the ocean, and (Y/N) was the first one to embrace her in a tight hug after she saw how shaken up she looked from what had just happened.

"How?" Phastos asked first. "How did you do it?"

"When I touched Tiamut's palm, I felt energy surging into me," Sersi stared down to her hands as she explained, gold lines filling er suit because of the power of the sphere. "Tiamut joined our Uni-Mind."

"I always wondered how we survived the destruction of other planets that we were on," Phastos confessed and turned to Makkari to sign each of his words. "By being connected to the Celestial as it emerged."

"We became one. . .even Ikaris and Sprite all because of Tiamut," Makkari signed.

(Y/N) was about to speak when she heard the soft sounds of someone walking along the sand, and she dared to look behind her shoulder to see how Druig walked slowly up to the group with Sprite trailing behind him.

Guided by her emotions, (Y/N) didn't hesitate in running up to him, seeing the way his eyes lit up at the sight of her coming up to him and opened his arms to embrace her in a hug.

"I thought. . ." she trailed off in a quiet whisper.

"Worried about me now, darling?" Druig tilted his head slightly as he leaned forward to look at her in the eyes.

"You scared me, that's all," (Y/N) muttered.

"I'm sure I did," he chuckled under his breath and used one of his arms to wrap it around her waist and pull her closer. "I missed this. I miss us. I miss you."

(Y/N) swallowed the lump on her throat by his words, feeling her body growing hot. "Me too."

He leaned forward to press his forehead against hers, softly swaying the two of them side to side before he pulled back to place a soft kiss on the crown of her head as he guided the two of them away while they walked side by side.

Sprite hesitantly made her way towards the others and her voice cracked. "Is he gone?"

Sersi nodded her head slowly. "Sprite. I still have energy from the Uni-Mind. I think I can make you human. All the things you said you wanted, you can have them. But your time will be fleeting and you'll die one day. Are you ready for that?"

Sprite choked up. "I am."

Sersi extended her palm and Sprite did the same, a soft light coming out of Sersi's palm while everyone walked by the sidelines.
