"Im here!!" I shout, knocking on Cal's apartment door.

"One second!" He shouts back.

I'm waiting a few moments before the door finally cracks open, revealing a rough looking Harry, who's facial expression turns even rougher when he sees me on the other side of the door.

"Cal you have a visitor." He mumbles.

"Yes i know, let her in for me, i just need to get changed."

Harry responds in a classic roll of his eyes before opening the door wider to let me in. I smile at him and sit down on the sofa, resting my feet up. He just scoffs and walks out the front door, slamming it behind him.

"Jesus, whats his problem?" I question to Cal, who walks out of his bedroom that very second.

"He's extremely hungover, his feelings towards you will be much worse today. He was like that with me."

"Im not sure if that makes me feel better or worse." I say.

"Just don't let it bother you." He laughs.

"How are you feeling after last night?" I ask him.

"I'm feeling better than i was when i first woke up. Then again, i didn't drink a lot last night, which is a surprise." He says, opening the fridge and throwing a bottle of water at me, before proceeding to drink his own.

"Cheers." I thank him.

"How are you feeling?" He questions me.

"Yeah I'm alright, i felt rough this morning but I'm getting better. Not as bad as Talia and JJ."

"Good. I saw you passed out last night. I think you hit your head on a chair or something." He says.

"I knew i did! I remembered that this morning but i thought i was going crazy, as i ended up on the sofa with a blanket over me."

"Huh. Thats weird. You were on the floor when i last saw you. I was gonna help you but we got kicked out by JJ as he needed his 'beauty sleep'. What a bore." I just laugh at JJ's sudden maturity.
"Everyone left after that. The only thing i know is that Harry went back in because he forgot his phone. After that, all I remember is falling into my bed." He said.

"Okay, thanks though. It was probably JJ or something."

"Im not sure about that, he was asleep by the time everyone left."

"Well maybe it was me. I could've regained consciousness and not remember it."

"Maybe." He shrugs. "Anyway, i wanted you to come over to remind you of something." He says while putting his arms on the counter and intertwining his fingers.

"By any chance does this have anything to do with your offer?" I joke.

"As a matter of fact it does. You haven't forgotten it have you?" He asks, a subtle smirk forming at the corners of his mouth.

"Oh for goodness sake." I say, taking my face in my hands.

"I miss you Mia. We used to be such good friends as kids. Then when your dads business moved you left me. We just started to regain our friendship and then you went travelling, leaving me behind again."

"Cal.. you know i didn't intentionally leave. My dad moved to Scotland for business and when that finished we went back to Manchester. Thats not my fault. And I want to live my life. Im not gonna not see the world so i can stay and rebuild our friendship." I say, feeling bad for him but not fully understanding his point.

"Yeah I understand that. Im just saying I miss you. I have a lot of shoots so i rarely get to see you, and then we do see each other its at a party or a sidemen dinner and shit. Other than the boys, you are my best friend." He says, walking over to the sofa and sitting next to me.

"Cal you know I love you. But I don't have to move in with you to spend time with you. We can make some time to see each other and maybe i can even come to some of your shoots." I say, scooting up to him and resting my head on his chest.

Cal means so much to me, when we were kids and I had just moved to Scotland he was the only one that was there for me when i was just getting used to my surroundings. If i didn't have him, i would have felt so uncomfortable. To this day he still makes me feel so comfortable and safe. He's like the brother i never had.

"I love you Mia, you are like a sister to me and i feel the need to protect you no matter what. I just cant stand to see us drift apart. I don't know what i would do without you." He says, pulling me closer to him.

"I love you too Cal." I return, intertwining our fingers.

We just stayed like that in silence. I don't know how long we were cuddled against each other, but Harry came home when it was dark (obviously thinking i had gone) and found us on the sofa.

"Guys, its 9pm. Isn't it time for you to go home Mia." He scowls.

"Be quiet Harry. You've gotta sort your life out if you are speaking to me like that when I've done nothing wrong." I spit.

"Acting like a bitch like always." He scoffs, before walking to his room and slamming his door. Cal was half asleep so he didn't seem to notice the words me and Harry just shared.

"Im gonna go home Cal." I say, wriggling out of his arms and being careful not to fully wake him. "Ill message you tomorrow, i love you." I say, kissing his cheek, grabbing my phone and my keys before walking out the door. I hear a small murmur before i leave and smile at how tired the boy behind me is. I chuckle under my breath and begin to call my Uber.
