OKAY, YEAH, KEHLANI WAS FREAKING THE FUCK OUT. not only will she have to conversate with people she doesn't know, she'll have to conversate with a guy she knows TOO well. she needs to pick out good outfits, do her hair, literally everything.

before she knew it, she was calling saylor and vanessa. "guys please come over before i lose my fucking mind." she spoke into the facetime call, using her octobuddy on the back of her phone to stick it to the mirror in her closet. "what do i even wear?"

"hmm i dont know, what gives 'seeing my ex hookup after like a year'?" vanessa swirled the ice in her iced coffee, giggling to herself like shes the best comedian on earth. saylor laughing definitely didn't help. "nessa im serious!" kehlani balanced 3 outfits on one arm and 2 purses on the other.

"so am i!" vanessa put her hands up in mock surrender. thank God nessa was here because nobody would be able to stay calm if it werent for her jokes. to be completely honest, kehlani barely knew what she would even say. talking to nick, chris, and violette seem easy, but MATT? yeah no. 

the next 2 hours were filled with background music and laughter from the 3 girls. both vanessa and saylor ended up at kehlanis house. saylor was taking in her outfit in the mirror, turning her body at a certain angle to see how her dress looks. nessa was fixing her hair in the mirror and snapping a few pictures here and there. as for kehlani, she was fixing her highlighter and internally freaking out.

"okay look at how good we look" saylor looked at herself then at her friends. it was about 5pm, the sun was starting to set which means that the girls definitely have to get going. for a split second, lani forgot who she was going to see there. "ill drive! im not drinking tonight." saylor opened the door and got in her car.

the two girls followed. kehlani sat in the front seat while nessa sat in the backseat in the middle. "okay, kehlani, promise us you'll talk to matt." nessa went on her phone, searching for the playlist that the girls share together. "uhhh, fine. ill talk to ALL the triplets, how about that."

"good enough for me" nessa said
"sounds alright" saylor turned up the radio.

watching the empty road ahead of her, kehlani decided to post a picture on her story.
