Character Synopsis:
As the youngest child of King Kaz Sentry and Queen Briana Gem Sentry-Hamato, Niklaus Aaron Sentry was always seen as the runt of the litter by the citizens of the Crystal Empire and by his older brother, Flash Sentry Jr, who always picked on him for being the weakest one out of their siblings and cousins.

Although his mother was born prematurely three days early, Niklaus was a bit different since he was born prematurely two weeks before his due date and that left him as a skinny, frail, and fragile child. In fact, on the day of his birth, he was so skinny that everyone was worried that if he fell then, he'd break a bone because of how frail and fragile he was. But the only one that wasn't worried about that was none other than his mother herself, Queen Briana Gem Sentry-Hamato, who only kept saying the same thing.

"Niklaus will be just fine. He may be like this but, he'll be the strongest of them all."

Niklaus only wished it was that easy.

Growing up, Niklaus had always had a hard time training or holding any type of weapons, often either dropping them or not being able to keep a firm grip and hold them right due to his lack of upper body strength. No matter how hard he tried, nothing ever came easy for him and everything came ten times harder for him.

Due to his lack of upper body strength or even strength in general, it made Niklaus a easy target for bullies at school since he was the easiest target but the pushing around and getting made fun of came from his older brother, Flash Sentry Jr the most. Thankfully, he had his cousin and his best friend, Elijah Blake Hamato by his side to defend him.

But then, one day, Niklaus discovers that he had a demon side named Azazel, who told him that he was born as half human and half demon (that nobody in his family was aware of him being half human and half demon since his magic and demon side were just now being awakened due to his premature birth) and just like his mother in the past, Niklaus is sent into a fear and begins to see himself as a monster because of his demon side. Immediately, Niklaus does everything he can to avoid using his magic in fear of losing control and turning into the monster he sees himself as.

However, eventually, with the help of his uncle Leonardo and his uncle Johnathon Riverstone [OC owned by GeekyCookie1], who will take their nephew under their wings and help him out with learning how to control his magic and demon side since they're the first ones to notice Niklaus's weird behavior, Niklaus will learn to face his fears and finally embrace his magic, just like his mother did.

What Niklaus didn't know was that one day, he, his siblings and cousins, and their friends would be left on their own in the future, branded as vigilantes and enemies of the Crystal Empire while having no idea if their parents are alive or not.

Physical Appearance:
Niklaus is rather scrawny and skinny compared to his siblings and cousins, and is only 5'1. He has very little physical strength, as he has difficulty holding weapons or training. In a way, he looks like his mother since he is the only one out of his siblings that has short purple hair and dark brown eyes. He wears a long-sleeve dark blue shirt, black jeans, and blue sneakers with white laces on it. At some point, he will start to wear his mother's old black leather jacket once he finds it hanging in his mother's office, which was where she used to keep it.

In the timeskip era, Niklaus has let his purple hair grown up to his shoulders. He now wears an open shirt with his mother's old black leather jacket over it, jogging pants that makes it easy to fight, and combat boots.

Personality:
Although Niklaus has his physically shortcomings, he is very intelligent as he enjoys making new inventions. Despite his intelligence, Niklaus desperately wants to prove that he's more than the runt of the litter like everybody sees him as that he has the habit of not thinking things through, which sometimes causes problems for the entire kingdom, including himself. He is also very clumsy, which sometimes only ends up doing more harm than good and puts him at odds with the kingdom sometimes.

He is also very shy and has a habit of stammering and stuttering when talking to people. There are also very few times where Niklaus tends to be sarcastic. He has a deep sense of compassion like his mother. He has a big heart as he is very caring and sweet.

But because of his desperate need for the acceptance of the kingdom, Niklaus sometimes lets his insecurities cloud his judgement and affect his actions. Due to this, it leaves him vulnerable to manipulation by more distrustful people as he can be a little too trusting of strangers. However, once he starts gaining more confidence in himself, Niklaus becomes flirty when he's around Caroline as he will flirt with her.

In the timeskip era, Niklaus is actually a lot more confident with himself and his magic as he's no longer afraid to use it. He is very intelligent, stubborn, serious, mature, responsible, loyal, and trustworthy. Although Niklaus still tries to get Caroline Grace Monroe that there's good in her and to get her to switch sides despite the fact that some of his siblings, cousins, and friends don't trust her after everything she did to them. Niklaus is also very determined to find the rest of their family and get back the Staff of Destiny from Cameron Chandler and Soren Chandler [OCs owned by MariChat3] in order to fix history.

Therefore, when his magic and demon side is being awakened for the first time, Niklaus is the only one that knows about it at first.

2. Due to being half human and half demon like his mother, mutagen is also a fatal weakness to him and can kill him within a few days if it gets into his bloodstream due to the fact that his demon magic and mutagen isn't compatible together.
