"Akshita," a sudden voice prompted her to look back, revealing a girl of her age approaching them. She was undeniably beautiful, her cinnamon hair slightly messy, radiating confidence. Akshita narrowed her eyes, carefully assessing her.

"Here comes the witch," Vedika muttered with disinterest, scanning the newcomer from head to toe.

"You're Akshita, right? The Akshita RaiSinghania?" the girl said as she stepped closer, her gaze briefly drifting to Avyansh, who was engrossed in his phone.

"Um, yes, and you are?" Akshita asked politely, struggling to recall where she knew her from.

"I'm Kavya, Kavya Malhotra," the girl replied, and Akshita's eyes widened in recognition. She used to be friends with Kavya before she left the school; they were close, but not as close as Akshita and Vedika. Kavya also knew Avyansh; although he was the one not to approach her first, she certainly did. They had been friends for five years, but for Avyansh, she was just a friend. Kavya had a different perspective; she was infatuated with him for his looks and wealth. While she might appear wholesome, her true nature was well-hidden.

A vile woman

"Kavya, oh my gosh! You've changed so much!" Akshita exclaimed, embracing her excitedly.

"By the way, your obsession with music hasn't faded," Kavya teased playfully.

"Junoon Khatam Hota Hai, mohabbat Nahi hota," Akshita replied with a smile, and that phrase captured Avyansh's attention momentarily.

He looked up from his phone, his gaze resting on her for just a second. This small gesture did not go unnoticed by Kavya, who saw that Avyansh had acknowledged Akshita yet remained oblivious when she arrived.

"Hello, Avyansh," Kavya said, trying to grab his attention, but all she received was indifference. He merely nodded without taking his eyes off his screen. Vedika suddenly burst into laughter, which she quickly disguised with a fake cough, confusing Akshita. Kavya stood there, feeling humiliated.

"Let's head to class; it's about to start," Siddharth suggested, glancing at his watch to ease the awkward tension. Everyone made their way to the classroom, leaving a furious Kavya behind. She couldn't stand his lack of acknowledgment, especially since his attention was drawn to a new girl he didn't know, even though he recognized her.

Regardless of what she said or thought, the reality was that she had coerced Avyansh into their friendship-not physically but through manipulation that eventually wore him down. Yet he had never crossed any boundaries with her, while Kavya consistently did.

The cafeteria was filled with excitement as students navigated through with food trays and utensils. Some were engaged in gossip, while others shared laughs. The atmosphere was calm, free from distractions.

At a long table, a group was seated together. Vedika and Siddharth were seated slightly apart, enjoying a special moment as they chatted, with Siddharth making Vedika blush through their laughter. Meanwhile, Ishaan was engrossed in his sandwich, oblivious to everything around him.

"I really want to kiss the hands of the person who made this amazing sandwich," Ishaan said, taking another bite, which caused Akshita to giggle.

"Then you should kiss that uncle's hand," she teased, making Ishaan sulk. Avyansh sat nearby, shaking his head at Ishaan's pouting face.

"You're such a meanie, Akshu," Ishaan grumbled, realizing he had called her by a nickname. However, Akshita was too carefree to notice.

"I'm sorry-" Ishaan started to apologize, fearing he might have made her uncomfortable, but Akshita interrupted him.

"It's okay, everyone calls me that. You can too," she replied with a smile, impressing Ishaan with her humility. Even though she had just met them hours earlier, her easygoing nature made her feel like part of the family.

"That's great! By the way, I'm going to grab another sandwich," Ishaan said, standing up and heading to the counter. Avyansh shook his head and muttered, "What kind of friends do I have?"

A comfortable silence fell over them-no tension, no awkwardness, no rush-just a shared understanding. Akshita's eyes were on the couple across the room, watching how Siddharth treated Vedika and noticing her happiness.

Lost in thought, Avyansh looked up from his phone, sensing the silence. He followed her gaze to the couple.

"You admire them," he said suddenly, startling her, but she quickly regained her composure and nodded.

"Yes, I do," Akshita said, her eyes returning to the couple.

"Why?" Avyansh asked, feeling an unexpected urge to know.

"Because there is love," she replied softly, her admiration clear in her voice.

"You believe in it?" he asked, setting down his phone.

"Hmm, I do believe in it," she answered calmly while sipping her hot chocolate. Noticing his silence, she looked at him, finding comfort in his gaze amidst the noisy crowd.

"Why don't you believe in it?" she asked gently, maintaining eye contact.

"It just makes you weak, and it's certainly not for me," Avyansh replied, his jaw tight with tension.

Akshita gazed into his eyes, sensing their coldness, yet feeling a sense of peace within it. She often found light in darkness, much like her admiration for the moon.

"You'll understand love when it happens," she said softly, tucking a stray hair behind her ear.

"No, I can't love anyone," Avyansh murmured, avoiding her gaze.

"Love isn't something you force; it just happens. You might even experience it without knowing," she reassured him, her gentle words resonating in his mind.

"But for that, we need to become friends, right?" she asked, a playful pout forming on her lips, prompting Avyansh to narrow his eyes.

"So, friends?" she suggested excitedly, extending her hand. Avyansh was momentarily taken aback by her enthusiasm.

His warm, rugged hand met her soft palm, serving as a reminder of their budding bond.

"Friends," she exclaimed as they shook hands, a smile blossoming on Avyansh's face.

"You really are something," he chuckled, noting her excitement, which made Akshita giggle in response.

"I'm really something," she laughed.

Abruptly, a voice interrupted their moment, catching their attention. They glanced up to see Vedika, Siddharth, and Ishaan standing there, surprised expressions on their faces. They approached and sat across from them, their eyes full of questions.

"What's making you both smile?" Siddharth asked, prompting Avyansh to roll his eyes.

"They'll never leave me alone," he thought.

"Nothing, we're just becoming friends," Akshita replied with a casual shrug, but her casual remark caused Ishaan to spit out his sandwich. Vedika gasped, and Siddharth noticed.

"You're becoming friends with him?" Vedika asked, clearly taken aback.

"Yes, why do you look so serious as if I've done something wrong?" Akshita joked, sensing the awkwardness, while Avyansh remained unfazed.

"Nothing, we're just surprised because no girl has managed to get through to him," Siddharth explained, which left Akshita puzzled.

"What about Kavya? Isn't she his friend?" Akshita pointed towards Avyansh, who closed his eyes in irritation.

"Oh, that's a different story. She wouldn't leave Avyansh alone, so he eventually had to accept her as a friend," Vedika clarified, and Akshita nodded in understanding. She wasn't familiar with the girl who used to be her friend and now seemed to give off bad vibes, but she chose to overlook it.

"Avy baby, are you cheating on me?" Ishaan complained, which annoyed Avyansh even more.

"Shut up, you idiot!" Avyansh hissed in frustration, unaware that two pairs of bright blue eyes were observing them.

"Are you both gay?" Akshita blurted out, causing Avyansh to choke and Ishaan to smirk.

"What the hell?" Avyansh exclaimed, finally catching his breath, while Vedika couldn't help but laugh.

"Nothing, you guys are just acting like it," Akshita shrugged, while Avyansh rubbed his temples in annoyance.

"Look, do what you want," Avyansh muttered as he got up to leave. But before he walked away, his gaze lingered on Akshita, watching her laugh, which made him smile despite his irritation.

"Great job, Akshuu," Vedika said, trying to calm herself down. As their teasing and laughter continued, a pair of honey-brown eyes admired Akshita from a distance, though that man refused to acknowledge his own feelings.

Friends??

That single word echoed in my thoughts, the ease with which she said it was something I had never experienced before.

As soon as she stepped into the classroom, I felt a catch in my breath, as if it were the hardest thing in the world. The guitar bag hung casually over her shoulder, and her soft bangs brushed against her forehead, giving her an almost otherworldly aura. Her large, night-blue eyes held a unique glimmer, radiating a purity that seemed fragile in this harsh world.

Too innocent for life's challenges, yet not fragile-her innocence was her strongest asset.

Her touch was delicate and light, sparking a deep desire to hold onto that moment forever. But I knew it couldn't be right.

Love??......

How could I love someone? Love feels like a luxury I can't afford; it was never meant for me. But for her, it was everything.

With her, our first meeting didn't feel new; it was as if we had crossed paths before, as if I had held those delicate hands in another time.

The moon illuminates the night with its silver glow, but it cannot compare to her. While the moon is distant and cold, she radiates warmth and closeness-a tangible presence and a lingering gaze that feels like a promise.

The moon shines by reflecting sunlight, yet her brightness comes from within-gentle and vibrant, a light born from the fire in her spirit and the kindness in her eyes.

Silently, the moon drifts in the sky, a perfect and unreachable orb, but she embodies poetry in motion-laughing, loving, and bringing beauty to life. Her beauty is dynamic, flowing through the world like a soft melody.

Even the moon sometimes hides behind clouds, but her light remains unwavering, shining brightly through sorrow, silence, and sleep.

Let the moon govern the tides, but her smile captures hearts.

She shared her love for music, and her voice mesmerized me-like silk enveloped in velvet, a sweet tune wrapped in mystery. When she sang, her eyes sparkled, and her lips flowed in harmony with the lovely notes from her guitar.

She is truly unique, brave enough to embrace the fears that intimidate others. Rather than shy away, she meets them with love and warmth, never feeling anger or jealousy-just acceptance. She is someone worth cherishing.

She doesn't seek to fit into others' hearts or replace anyone; she longs for her own place, just as she is.

Her unexpected question caught me off guard-no one has ever done that except her. Not even Kavya, who claimed my help five years ago but chose to stay just friends.

I agreed to that, as my mother taught me to respect women. However, I did caution her against invading my personal space, which she often did. But Akshita is different.

She respects boundaries and values time with you. Even though we've only known each other for a few hours, her words revealed so much about her. She felt like an open book, easy to understand.

She is the goddess everyone desires-untamed and out of reach.

What are you, Akshita RaiSinghania?

Someone who dares to tame a beast like me.

Whatever this feeling is, it won't turn into love-just friendship, perhaps a close one, for whom I care deeply.

I think you all should be clear by now.

Okay lemme tell you, in Avyansh pov I tried to express his feelings and negligence towards it. So don't blame him, the reason behind his cold exterior will be out soon.

Okay lemme give you a hint.

Like one person can make your life beautiful, then one person can make it hell too maybe they are your own.

I think this is enough, yes I did change a little and I'm not guilty at all.
