BTS OT7 RESULTS (R1)
First off, I wanted to say thank you to all BTS OT7 participants and judges! Thanks for being patient and doing all that was asked of you!

Remember, there will be three rounds. The final round will have the top three winners, released on April 7th!

Once you are eliminated, you are free to leave unless you have another book in another category.
As participants are eliminated, there will be a small Active Check (not mandatory) at the very bottom, just asking how your experience was and any improvements, etc. It would help a lot!

The Most Liked results will be in Round 3!

In this category, the most repeated things were the following:

- mafia/criminal trope or sudden twist
- past and present tense confusion/mix
- one specific member-centered
- punctuation issues/grammar issues

Each individual review highlights certain issues like these (if they were found), so please note them down and revise your books with this help!

DISCLAIMER
This round includes the lowest scored books + books eliminated for AI percentages or for not following the rules. Some books that were eliminated due to AI do have feedback as it was detected after judging.

Every participant needs to pick up their reviews! Down below in the Active Check you can write any social media (Insta, X, Discord, etc.) you may have so I can send it to you. If you do not have one, we can discuss how to send it in the comments.

Remember, if VVIP, you'll pass straight to Round 3 for a final re-evaluation done by me. Your scores will not be seen until Round 3 in which you can either win or be eliminated.

If you only have one judge review that means I was your only judge. Unless, you were eliminated due to AI or not following some rules, then the feedback is from your judge.

I do tend to judge harshly at times, which can be seen with a significance in score drops, but it's because of accuracy when it comes to judging all the books. Just to ensure all are graded similarity. Please understand.

Additionally, if you want a more in-depth review/feedback for improvements on your book, you can always request it! It might take me more time because of classes and work, but I will be able to do it for you. This is always an option, just make sure to tell me early so that I can make a list. I'll do a deeper dive of your book.

The mean average of all the scores total in this category is: 70.55!

ROUND 1 RESULTS

Behind the Veil: A Captive Tale by katrina12234 (first judge - 87) {Eliminated}
- AI detected in the blurb and in multiple chapters as 100% in multiple detectors, which disqualifies the book from competition. Since I can't pinpoint if AI was used for editing or for the writing itself, the story will be disqualified as per the rules. [first judge left some feedback to check out!]
- In addition, since this also happened in the JJK category, I decided to check with other colleagues — writers and award hosts — to make sure my own suspicions weren't mistaken. The conclusion was the same among my peers, mainly those who are more informed about AI than me. Only the writer itself can know what they wrote or not, these are just an overall look on the reader's perspective. I hope you don't take the results in a negative light and proceed in your writing journey as usual!
