Chapter Three: Welcome to Auradon Prep!
Bea spots the limo coming as all of the Auradon Prep students wave Auradonian flags. The band plays music to welcome them as she fixes her blue headband. Allyson, Alice's daughter gives her an encouraging wink. As soon as the limo driver opens the door... two boys fall on the floor, playing tug of war with a dark blue towel.
"Ow! Stop! You've got everything else!" The boy with white hair on the floor whined. He's kinda cute. Bea thought. "Why do you want whatever this is?" The band stopped abruptly and Allyson looked at the boys with amusement, knowing that the boys would fit right in Wonderland.
"Cause you want it!" The boy with long brown hair said, stepping on him. "Ow!" The band departed, exposing Bea, Ben, Audrey and Fairy Godmother.
"Guys! Guys!" A girl with dark brown hair said, as she lightly kicked the white haired boy on the head, holding a pug in her arms. "We have an audience!" Another girl with purple hair said, standing next to a girl with blue hair and a girl with black hair but her hair turned red once it reached the tips.
"Just cleaning up." The boy with long brown hair said with a smile. "Get up." He pulled the guy with white hair up. "Leave it like you found it." Fairy Godmother sings with a smile on her face. "And by that I mean just leave it." Her fac turned serious. The browned haired boy chucked the TV back in the limo, doing the same with the towel which the white haired boy handed to him. The girl with the pug rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"Hello foxies." The guy with brown hair said flirtatiously walking over to Audrey and Bea. "The name's Jay." Audrey laughed uncomfortably as Bea gave Jay a small wave. "Welcome to Auradon Prep." FG said. "I'm Fairy Godmother. Headmistress." "The Fairy Godmother?" The purple haired girl said. "As in Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo?" She said.
"Bibbidi-bobbidi. You know it." FG said. "Yeah, I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just appeared, out of nowhere." The purple haired girl chuckled mid sentence. "With that sparkly wand and warm smile. And that sparkling wand." "That was a long time ago." FG said. And as I always say, "Don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future."
"It's so good to finally meet you all." Ben said, stepping up. "I'm Ben." "Prince Benjamin." Audrey said. "Soon to be king." "You had me at prince." The girl with blue hair smiles. "My mom's a queen, which makes me a princess." She curtsied. "Same with her." She said, pointing to the girl with black hair.
"The Evil Queen or The Queen of Hearts have no royal status here." Audrey said. "And neither do you two." The blue haired girl and the black haired girl glared daggers at Audrey.
"This is Audrey." Ben said, smiling at Audrey. "Princess Audrey." Audrey smiled. "His girlfriend. Right, Bennyboo?" The girl with the pug pretended to throw up at that pet name. "Who's that?" The girl in red said, pointing at Bea.
"Oh, I'm just Ben's advisor, Beatrice Fairy. You can call me Bea if you want." Bea said. "It's nice to meet you. I'll be Ben's royal advisor when he's crowned. Isn't that right, Benny?" "Uh, yes, that's right." Ben replied.
"Wait are you the Blue Fairy's daughter?" The black haired girl said. "Yup." She nodded. "But you don't have any wings." The purple haired girl said. "Are you a fairy?"
"I do. I'm half fairy. They're just hidden. "No one really uses magic anymore so I don't use them as much. Why? Do you want to see them?" The six VKs nodded and Bea spun around, revealing my cerulean wings. "Tada." She said with a smile.
"They're beautiful." (Evie and Quinn)
"Can we touch them?" (Carlos)
"Can I keep them?" (Jay)
The girl with the pug elbowed her friend at that statement. "Thank you. I mean if you want to you can. No." Bea said with a laugh. "Ben, Audrey and Bea are going to show you all around." FG says, putting her hands on Ben and Audrey's. "And I'll see you tomorrow." FG pushed open Audrey and Ben's hands.
"The doors of wisdom are never shut! But the library hours are from 8:00 to 11:00. And as you may have heard, I have a little thing about curfews." Everyone chuckled dryly and FG winked at them, walking off with the band in tow. "It is so, so, so good to finally," Ben goes to shake Jay's hand but he punched him in the chest with a smirk. "Me-meet you all." "You're not going to hit me, right?" Bea said to Jay.
"Nope, you're good, foxy." He said, which made her roll her eyes. The girl with the pug stepped on his foot. "Ow! Gwen!" He exclaimed. The girl with a pug stuck her tounge at him. Bea shook her hand (more like her finger though, due to her holding her pug.)
Ben moves to the purple haired after the girl with the pug. He shakes her hand, looking into her eyes. Bea shake the girls hand and she just stared at her wings. "Do you want to touch them?" She asked. "No, I'm good." She replied. "This is a momentous occasion." Ben says, shaking the white haired boys hand. "And one that I hope will go down in history...Is that chocolate?... as the day our people began to heal."
"Or the day you showed six people where the bathrooms are." The purple haired girl said, faking Ben's enthusiasm.
"A little over the top?" Ben asked us.
"A little." The purple haired girl giggled and so did he.
"Well, so much for my first impression." He laughed. Bea glanced at Audrey and her mouth twitched, attempting to keep its smile.
"Hey! You're Maleficent's daughter, aren't you? Yeah, you know what? I totally do not blame you for your mother trying to kill my parents and stuff. Oh! My mom's Aurora." She butted in on their gawking. "Sleeping-"
"Beauty. Yeah, I've heard the name. You know, and I totally do not blame your grandparents for inviting everyone in the whole world, but my mother to their stupid christening." The purple haired girl finished.
"Water under the bridge." Aurora's daughter chuckled. "Totes!" The two then proceeded to laugh fakely. "Can we move on now? I don't like all the sunlight out here." The brown haired girl asked, after a moment of the two just staring.
"Okay, yeah! So how 'bout a tour? Yeah?
Auradon Prep, originally built over 300 years ago and converted into a high school by my father when he became king." Ben explained, walking over to a statue of the current King.
Ben clapped his hands twice, turning the statue from man to beast. Suddenly we heard Carlos scream and jump into Jay's arms. "Carlos, it's okay. My father wanted his statue to morph from beast to man to remind us that anything is possible." The prince explained.
"Does he shed much?" The purple haired girl asked. "Yeah, mom won't let him on the couch." He joked back. "So, you guys have a lot of magic here in Auradon? Like wands and things like that?" Mal asked, walking into the building like we did. "Yeah, it exists of course, but it's pretty much retired. Most of us here, are ordinary humans." Ben shrugged.
"Who happened to be kings and queens." The red haired girl commented. "That's true. Our royal blood goes back hundreds of years." Audrey butted in, lifting up her boyfriend's arm up and over onto her shoulders. Gwen gags like theirs no tomorrow and her brother just looked at her as if she were insane,
"Doug, Ally, come down." Ben hollered to Doug and Allyson the stairs. Bea has been good friends with the two of them for most of her life. "This is Doug. And this is Allyson. They're gonna be helping you with your class schedules and show you the rest of the dorms. I'll see you later, ok? And if there is anything you need, feel free to-"
"Ask Doug!" Audrey finished for him "Or Allyson." The two girls broke out in a forced laughter again. "Or you can ask me." Bea said. "I didn't get your names though."
"Mal."
"Princess Evie."
"I'm Jay, foxy."
"I'm Quinn."
"Y-you can call me Carlos."
"I'm Gwen, thank you very much. This is my dog, Percy, the son of Poseidon."
"Alright." Bea said. "Bye."
