TW ⚠️: Physical abuse.

Nervous as hell, Thomas and I entered the hotel. We decided to just go to our own rooms and see what would happen.

What happened was that Newt—and everyone else—was already waiting in the lobby, arms crossed. Shit.

"Uh... hey." We smiled nervously. "What's up?"

"First you disappear, then you run away, roll off a mountain, and then you bloody disappear again!" Newt already looked raging. "Where the hell have you two been?"

"Oh... uh..." I stammered.

"We were just..."

"...Well, uh—."

Newt raised an eyebrow.

"Okaywewereinthepolicestation!" Thomas said it so fast I barely understood it.

"You were what?" Newt took a step forward. Thomas took a step back. "Alright..." A very long silence. "We'll go upstairs for a bit."

"No, thanks." We said.

A glare from Newt and we followed like dogs.

Up the elevator, through the hallway, and into his room. He crossed his arms madly. I looked around, feeling awkward and embarrassed. Thomas kept touching his face and hair.

"The police station, hm?" He was still talking in a normal tone, but angry. "Again? What did you do?"

"Nothing." We peeped.

"Nothing?"

"They accused me of stealing a drivers license!" Thomas blurted out. "And Quinn punched the cop!"

Newt closed his eyes, took a deep breath. "I can't believe you two."

"I know right? We're so holy and— ah, you did not mean our looks." Thomas rubbed his chin. "Well, if you don't mind I'll—."

"Nope. I ain't done yet."

"Oh?"

"With confronting you, Thomas. Not the dirty crap your mind makes up." Newt exhaled deeply, running a hand through his hair. I just stood there. Bit my lip a bit.

"That's a pity."

"Can we seriously not leave you two alone for one second? You're already causing problems when we don't look!"

"Apparently you cannot leave us alone for a second, yes." I shrugged.

"You two are just..."

"Dumb?"

"Idiotic?"

"Both?"

"Iconic?"

"Hot?"

"Definitely hot."

"I really feel like hurting you two right now." Newt grunted in frustration. "What do you want me to do about this? Send you back? Send you into your rooms the rest of the day? What will stop you two from preforming acts like this?"

"Hm. I don't know."

"I don't know either."

"For god's sake!" His jaw was clenching from anger. Breaths a little heavier, and hands moving uncontrollably. "You know what, I don't want to see either of you at dinner!"

"So we get the chance to sneak out?" Thomas gasped.

I smiled. "You sound just like a mother, Newt."

He was close to bursting out. Balled his fists. "Neither of you at the dinner table. Find your own bloody way but I swear to god if I catch you causing problems again... just obey for once!"

"Fine. We'll stay in our rooms tonight."

"Good." He said. "Now get your asses out of here, you idiots."

We rushed out of the room. "That went fine." Thomas whispered. "We're alive."

"For now." I mumbled. "See ya... sometime."

"Yeah, I'll text you. Bye."

Minho wasn't back from whatever he was doing yet. Slightly disappointed, I sat down with a sigh, suddenly remembering the fall off the mountain left me some wounds.

I checked my knees. On there some skin was gone and dried blood surrounded it. This was on both of my knees and one ankle. Along with that I got some blue bruises on my arms and legs. Not too bad.

I took a cotton pad with some rubbing alchohol out of the bathroom and sat down on one of the chairs. Removed my shoes before I started cleaning everything up.

At least that was a benefit of Aiden... I knew how to disinfect it.

I smiled through the burning pain of the alchohol hitting my abrasions like salt on paper cuts. Somehow I enjoyed that feeling... just weird.

Bandaids lay next to me too. After cleaning up one knee, I taped a bandaid on it, then went on to cleaning the next one.

Just then, the door to the room opened and someone stepped in. A greeting from Minho came. Even with my back turned to him, I could sense him putting his stuff down.

"What's up?" He moved closer. Looked over my shoulder. "Ouch. That doesn't look good. What happened?"

I shrugged.

He was immediately aware and sat down in front of me, leaning his elbows on his knees as he pressed his palms together. "Hm, Quinn?"

I shrugged again. "Just... rolling off a mountain with Thomas."

He chuckled slightly. I didn't. I couldn't.
"Why?"

I shrugged for a third time. "Why not?"

Minho breathed in while he straightened his back, a suspicious look on his face. "What aren't you telling me?"

"Oh, well. Quite a lot." I put another bandaid on.

He leaned back, eyes still focused on me. "Why did you cry?"

My heart made a jump. A big jump. "What?"

"Red eyes, stained cheeks... why did you cry?"

"I didn't cry. I'm allergic to... these plants."

He sniffed. "Ah, okay. I'm allergic to bullshit and lies. Tell me what's going on."

Taken aback, I stared at him. He stared back. And he was definitely being serious, by the cold look on his face. "We might've gotten... uh, a little bit arrested."

"Go on."

No yelling, that was good. He just waited.
"Because they accused Thomas from stealing a license and I punched a cop. Then we got out safely. I was a bit overwhelmed... so I cried."

"Hm. No plot holes?"

I shook my head. "Nope."

He got up from his seat, now way taller than me. "I don't believe that for a second, but alright, if you say so."

"Good night." I told him, sheets and a pillow in my arms.

Aiden looked up from his computer. "Night."

I smiled a small smile before I lay my stuff down on the couch. Sleeping on there wasn't the most relaxing, but I was used to it by now. After all, it was just one little week, once a month.

Aiden didn't want me to sleep in our bed when I was on my period. The blood is disgusting, he said. He didn't want me leaking on the mattress. The couch is bad enough already, he said.

That morning I found stripes of blood on the couch. Immediately I panicked. Rushed to clean it, but was too late. Aiden showed up and yelled at me.

I had cried and told him sorry a million times. Shouted I couldn't do anything about it, but it only made him angrier.

He threw a glass against the wall, right beside my head. "I cannot believe you!" He screamed for the millionth time.

"It's not my fault!" I yelled through my tears, also for the millionth time. "Please, just clam down! I've got enough on my mind already. I'll clean the blood and this glass up, I swear!"

A split second later and I was pinned against the wall, his fist grabbing both of my wrists.

"Stop swearing stuff, you little shit!" I closed my eyes as he yelled. "I know you'll clean it up! You don't have to promise me!" My back hit the wall another time, hard.

Anger washed over me... probably because of my period, too. "Let go of me! I'm sick of cleaning everything up behind your ass. Do it yourself!"

I pushed him away and managed to escape his grip for a few seconds as he continued screaming. "I swear to god, Quinn— I swear to god! Don't yell back at me."

I reached out to the cheek he slapped after finishing his sentence.

"I hate you." I said, pure anger in my voice now. I was done. Completely done with him and all the problems he had with me. "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!"

"Stop acting like a fucking baby."

"Stop acting like a piece of crap boyfriend that's too lazy to clean up a little stain on the couch, you idiot!"

The next things happened so fast I barely registered what happened.

I gave him a push. He held onto the counter to stop himself from falling. His hand landed on a knife. He looked at it, then slash, swung it through the air.

I gasped.

The worst stinging and horrible pain exploded in my side. I looked down at a red forming stain on it.

Aiden froze too. He dropped the knife. Caught me in his arms before I hit the ground.

God, the pain was awful. Blood overflowed my lungs. I nearly choked as I tried to touch my side, but Aiden shook his head.

He was panicking. "Shit. Oh, Quinn. I'm so sorry. Fuck." He lifted me up. "I'll get you to the hospital, okay? I'm so sorry, Darling. I didn't mean to."

"Tell them you tripped and sliced your side on a sharp corner of a wall they were building, okay love?" He lay me down in the back of the car. A kiss on my forehead. "Tell them that."

Silent tears were streaming down my face. I stared at him, no longer feeling any love when I did that. It was over. After this, I was done. I didn't love him. Not anymore.

.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.

I shot straight up.

Breaths heavy. Sweat dripped down my forehead. My throat was dry. I felt awful. A flashback of my last moments with Aiden. The scar. Only about a stupid period.

"Woah, you okay?"

I flinched at the sudden voice, especially when I found Minho standing next to my bed.

"Sorry. Uh... you were kind of talking in your sleep and I woke up, so yeah..."

My breathing sped up even more. "Talking? What did I say? Did I do anything? What—."

"Hey, Quinn... Princess." His weight dropped down on the bed. "I think you should calm down for a second, all right?"

"No, no." It was all blurry in front of my eyes. Confusion washed over me. "What did I say? Did I... did I— I don't know, what did I—."

"Shh. Shh." His large hand on my shoulder. "You're okay. I didn't understand most of the things you said."

I hadn't noticed the tears streaming down my face until I touched them. I also hadn't noticed how uncontrollably my breathing went until I felt a sharp pain in my chest.

I fought to stay calm. My hand clenched around his hand the second he held it out for me. I ignored my shaking shoulders and the sobs that came out of my mouth.

"Can I hug you?" I managed to ask. And ah, that was embarrassing.

But he nodded and embraced me by himself. One hand on the back of my head as the other one caressed my back. I took in his fresh smell. Felt oxygen fill my lungs again. More air by the second.

"Nightmare?" He whispered.

Without thinking, I replied, "No. Flashback."

I stopped moving when I realized what I admitted. But Minho continued comforting me without saying anything else. Relief relaxed me in a wave, along with a deep breath out.

"Sorry. But thanks." I let go of him. This was upsetting... and embarrassing. He now knew even more about Aiden and how things went. He saw me have a damn flashback!

"No apologies needed." A small smile printed on his lips. "Feel better?"

"Yeah. Thanks, again." While nodding, I crawled back under the sheets. Minho kneeled beside the bed as I enjoyed more breaths of air and the soft pillow against my head.

I felt exhausted after the day, and this flashback. Closed my eyes and threw my head back slightly. A chuckle escaped Minho's mouth from beside me.

But then I felt him tense. His body heat gave off again. It made me nervous. "Princess Rapunzel?"

"Prince Flynn?" I mumbled back.

His breathing hit the skin on my face now. He was coming closer. "Is Flynn allowed to join his princess?"

"In what?"
I was close to dozing off.

"Sleeping." He whispered in such a quiet voice.

"Yeah, you can sleep."

He laughed before it faded again. "Next to her? Can Flynn sleep next to Rapunzel?"

My eyes shot open, staring right into his beautiful, twinkling ones. A crooked smile that had a hint of nervousness in it was on his face.

Butterflies exploded everywhere. He wanted to sleep next to me...? I was screaming on the inside, as my cheeks turned red. Luckily it was too dark for him to see.

"Yeah, Flynn may." My eyes inspected his whole face for a few seconds. Then I scooted aside so he could lie down, which he did, a bit awkward at first.

"Is Flynn allowed to touch Rapunzel without getting hit with a pan?"

"Depends." A tiny smile grew on my face.

"On...?"

"On how he wants to touch her."

"Hm." A long pause. "Right now he wants to bury her in his arms, head on his chest. Comfort her. Would that be possible in any way?"

"Yeah, that would be possible."

Smooth as hell, I got lifted on top of him, my ear on his chest, one of my legs between both of his as my other one lay beside his body.

I could hear his heartbeat, which was speeding up. A hand moved in my hair, almost causing me to wince from enjoyment.

"This okay for Rapunzel?"

"Very okay." I was already closing my eyes. Relaxed all my muscles and decided to forget about how nervous I was in this situation. "Is Flynn happy with the decision he made?"

"Very happy."

I fell asleep with a big smile on my face, my last thought being both Minho and a warning of what day it was tomorrow.
