He held up a piece of clothing. "This?"

I shook my head. "Not really my taste. Sorry."

"Don't say sorry because something is not your taste." He held up his hands. Lifted an eyebrow. "So you better never tell me sorry again 'cause I'm sure I'm your taste."

My face flicked completely red. He smiled playfully, making it clear he was joking.

"This?" Green jeans.

I frowned. "Nah. I thought you liked fashion? This isn't exactly what I imagine is modern."

"Maybe I have never bothered a girl's fashion before." A stupid grin stayed on his face. "Okay. Choose both warm stuff and cold stuff."

I managed to chose a few sweaters, glancing at the price cards with widening eyes. "I can't let you—."

He hummed a 'no', pressing his finger on his lips. "I'll spend my money however I want it, Princess. No need to worry."

An even redder face as we moved to other clothes. The store was bigger than I had ever seen before, and I was spending more money than I had in years. Mostly because I either didn't have it, or wasn't exactly... allowed to go shopping on my own.

"What about this?" Minho held up a tight, black dress. On the bottom it was a little looser, with thin straps.

I pulled a face. "No."

"You'll have to wear something neat in that hotel in Switzerland." He added. "Try it on."

I sighed, but agreed. We chose my next clothes, which was quite a lot, and made our way to the fitting rooms.

"I'll wait here." He sat down on a leather couch right in front of my fitting room. "Please let me take a look at what I'm gonna buy for you, though."

I nodded and rushed to dress into wide, blue pants, a white top, and black cardigan that I hung in a way it revealed one of my shoulders.

Minho inspected it for a while. "Approved."

Next were shorts with a green button up vest. Minho held a thumb up before I changed into the next thing.

Another pair of shorts, this time white, with a soft yellow crop-top. One which made it able to see half of the scar on my side.

I stared at it for, then took a deep breath, deciding to just go for it. So I stepped out of the small room and showed Minho the outfit.

The Asian trailed his eyes over it. They stopped at my side for a split second, then he went on already. "That's nice." He nodded. "Fits you well."

I gave him a small smile, hoping he understood that as a 'thank you for not asking'. He smiled back, warm but little.

More outfits followed. He liked them all, and I did too. Last was the dress. It came to my mid-thigh. Curved around my waist perfectly. A bit of a push up at the top, and soft material.

Unsure, I showed Minho it. This time he was silent a lot longer than before, but he was nodding the whole time through it.

"I say yes to the dress." He joked.

I laughed and stepped back to change again, as I enjoyed every moment. Minho seemed to have gotten more comfortable like Teresa told me he would, and I was finally getting some clothes!

We stood in front of the cash register. A woman was scanning all the clothes and folding them. Minho stood there with his card, waiting politely, until the woman was almost done.

He turned around, pointing at something behind me. "Look at that."

I turned. My eyes flashes everywhere and yet I couldn't find whatever he tried to show me. The walls were white and it was all just clothes.

After a while of searching, I stared at him again. He was grinning a little deeper now, stuffing his card back in his pocket as he took the three smaller bag of clothes.

"Ooh!" Offended, I gave him a sharp glance when the realization hit me.

He let me turn around so I wouldn't see the total price of all the clothes. Though maybe that was better.

He chuckled. "What's next?"

I came to a stop. "Huh?"

"What's next? Beauty store? Perfumery?" Stores surrounded us all, some I didn't even recognize because they were European.

My eye caught a smaller one, called... Hunkemöller. It looked like they sold all kinds of lingeries and bathing clothes. And to be honest, that was what I was running out of.

Minho followed my eyes with his. "Alright. Let's go."

I felt a bit embarrassed to let him walk into a store like that, but he didn't seem to mind at all and happily followed me with the bags in his hands.

"Do you have a bathing suit already? Bikini?"

Shaking my head, I gasped at the dozens of swim stuff, though I made my choice fast, and by now it was clear green was my favorite color.

It was a brighter green this time, with quite open cups yet not very revealing. The bottom was high-waisted, and not too thin as most girls wore, with their asses sticking out.

Minho did not hold up any suggestions this time, but gave his true opinion if I did. I was surprised how comfortable and normal it felt.

Not that I was comparing Minho to Aiden or considered our relationships the same... but Aiden did definitely not go into a lingerie shop with me like that.

He did want to make time to go shop and spoil me with a lot of clothes after eating ice cream, though. On those days he was suddenly sweet, which was why I didn't give up on him. I thought he would get better. I hoped.

"Alright." He cleared his throat. "This time, I'm not going to approve any clothes."

I snickered and fit everything on my own, not worrying until I had put the bikini on. It revealed a part of my side. The scar.

No matter how bad I felt, I decided not to scare any more kids or receive more stares with it, and split up what we would buy or put back. The bikini belonged with the stuff I would put back.

Minho jumped up to take the clothes I didn't want from me and hung them where they were supposed to be, until he arrived at the bikini.

"It didn't fit?"

I bit my lip, staring at the ground in shame. I didn't want to lie to him after all the things he had done so far.

Luckily he realized fast and lowered his tone. "Is it the scar?"

I swallowed, followed by a small nod.

"Wanna talk about it?" His full attention was on, I could see it in his eyes and the little spark he most of the time had in there, even though he sometimes acted cold.

"Rather not." I met his eyes. "I just... I don't know. I don't want people to ask questions about it again. Or people staring."

He smiled poorly and pushed the thing back in my hands. "I'm going to buy that thing for you. You're going to wear it, and just yell 'unfortunately for everyone I have this super cool scar and survived whatever the hell happened. I don't see you doing that!'" His smile turned brighter. "Yeah?"

I laughed at him, and eventually nodded, knowing my new friends weren't disrespectful in any way after all.

He paid, still attempting to distract me by pointing at a poster on the wall. And since it was a lingerie shop, it was quite... imitating, so I refused to look at that and just turned back to Minho.

The second we walked out of the store, his phone went off. His ringtone wasn't Wannabe, but Eye Of The Tiger.

"Uh..." He took the thing out of his pocket. "Don't mind that."

I giggled quietly as he greeted whoever was on the phone. A loud voice was close to yelling through it, but then I couldn't hear them anymore.

"Yo, Newt..."

"Mhm."

"I'm in Stavanger."

"Quinn? Yeah, she's with me."

"What?"

"No."

"Stop yelling at me. It's ten o'clock in the morning. I'm too sober for this shit, man."

"You go tell your boyfriend to not fall out of a bed before telling me to keep order."

"No, nothing's going wrong, you idiot."

"Newt, stop nagging this."

"Just yell 'plot twist' and we'll change the plan."

"Fine, we'll come back. Jeez."

Then he hung up, looking very pissed. "Well, guess we gotta go back."

"That's okay." I reassured. "Uh, do I need to help carrying those—."

"Nope." He kept walking closer to the parking garage with all my bags in his hands. Stuffed them in the black car before both him and I sat down.

Neither of us said anything during the ride back, but the silence wasn't uncomfortable. I just stared out of the window, not really bothering where my mind went as long as it wasn't Aiden.

Minho drove with sunglasses on now, his strong arm tensing through his rolled-up sleeve. I couldn't have been more happy that day.

Minho had this thing for assuring someone something and letting them believe it, if you get what I mean. When I felt guilty, he had told me not to worry about his money and he would spend it like he wanted. The way he said things like that seemed so pure it must've been the truth, and I believed.

We arrived at the hotel faster than I thought. He got out of the car after parking it somewhere, and started unpacking the thing.

I tapped him on the shoulder before he could finish doing that. A big smile was on my face, and out of nowhere, I wrapped my arms around him.

He froze in the first place, but then awkwardly patted my back. Maybe cringing a little at myself, I hugged and hugged until I felt him get more comfortable.

"Thank you." I said, a warm feeling of appreciation forming everywhere in my body. "Thank you so much, Minho."

"You're very welcome."
