─── π•πˆ. SEARCH AND FIND

𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒
SEASON THREE β€” EPISODE SEVEN

As promised, Scott explained the current events that has been happening and it was a lot for take in. The victims, in groups of three, were chosen based on the following types:

β€’ Virgins
β€’ Warriors
β€’ Healers
β€’ Philosophers
β€’ Guardians

Things only gotten worse when a doctor had been taken and it was believed healers were the next to be killed by whoever was doing these sacrifices. Mr Harris, the school's biology teacher had been taken too. So Riley decided to do some extensive research through her mother's grimoire and happened to find something that relates to these sacrifices.

"Okay, so here's what I found out." Riley voiced as her, Stiles, and Scott sat in Mr. Harris class. She showered them the page of the grimoire. "Based off these sacrificesβ€”the Darach is giving itself power."

"What do you mean?" Scott asked.

"Each sacrificed trio will give the Darach different powers. By sacrificing Warriors, it will gained enhanced strength, By sacrificing Healers, it will be able to heal themselves at an accelerated rate. By sacrificing Philosophers, it will gain enhanced intelligence, strategy, and an aptitude. By sacrificing Virgins, it seemingly gained a heightened ability to seduce others."

"It's giving itself superpowers." Stiles summed up.

"Exactly." Riley stated.

"The question is why?" Scott chimed in.

The trio were interrupted by Ms. Blake who dropped her books on the teacher's desk.

"Good morning. As you all know, Mr. Harris is still missingβ€”I mean sick. Anyway, I'm filling in while we all hope and pray for a more qualified substitute to take my place. Okay, so let get started, shall we?"

The sound of a phone ringing caught everyone's attention. Riley turned to see Scott hiding his head underneath his desk, although she could hear him.

"Doc, doc, doc? What's happening?"

Riley instantly perked up with worry.

Scott came from under the table and gave Riley a signal, which prompted the blonde to gather up her jacket and book bag.

"Uh, Ms. Marshall, Mr. McCallβ€”"

Scott cut her off. "Sorry, Ms. Blake, work emergency."

The duo quickly exited out of the classroom.

This would seem rather romantic if they're weren't rushing to save their boss. The duo parked the bike, seeing deputies cars before burst into the clinic spotting the Sheriff and another Deputy.

"How did you know?" Scott asked the Sheriff.

"Stiles called me as soon as you left school." Sheriff Stilinski answered.

Riley could be sense how worried Scott was way more worried than she was. He once confessed to her that Dr. Deaton was a father figure to him. Part of Riley wished she knew how that felt.

"I'm sorry. Your boss' car is still here, and the back door was wide open. Scott... I need you to tell me everything." The Sheriff stated.

Riley let out sigh of worry as she rubbed Scott's shoulder trying to relax him.

"Are you gonna tell him?" She whispered in Scott's ear.

"I don't know." Scott admitted. "If it can save Deaton, I would have no other choice than tell him."

"But, will he believe you?"

"I hope so."

π’π“πˆπ‹π„π’ π‰πŽπˆππ„πƒ Riley and Scott at the clinic as his dad began to inform the trio about everything they gathered through their investigation.

"All right, we're doing everything we can. Right now, the best thing you can do is go back to school." he told before leaving us alone in the animal's reserve.

"We have to tell him" Scott told Stiles.

"You mean like, tell him, tell him, or tell him something else that isn't telling him what I think you wanna tell him?" Stiles asked.

"You know what I mean." Scott said.

"You remember how your mom reacted? She didn't look at you in the eye for, like a week."

"And she got over it, and...and it actually made us closer." Scott pointed out.

"Besides, you're human, Stiles. He wouldn't have anything to blame on you." Riley added on.

"I don't know. I mean, look at him. He's completely β€”got people dying in his town, the town he's supposed to protect, and it's not his fault that he doesn't know what's happening. He's gonna have to find out sooner or later." Scott assured Stiles.

"Yeah, but is now really the right time?"

"What if not telling him now gets someone else killed?" Scott asked.

"What if telling him gets him killed? I mean, I get that Deaton's been like a father to you. But this is... Scott, this is my actual father. I can't....I can't lose both of my parents."

Riley patted Stiles' shoulder sympathetically.

"You're right." Scott admitted.

Stiles looked at him with a sad expression. "No I'm not. All right, I'll... I'll tell him."

"We should get going." Riley voiced.

The trio stood up and exited out of the reserve, coming face to face with Ms. Morrell and Grace talking to the Sheriff and the Deputy.

"Mom?" Riley called out.

"Riley." Grace said with confusion as she approached her daughter. "Why aren't you in school?"

"Dr. Deaton called us beforeβ€”he was taken." Riley denoted. "What are you doing here with Ms. Morrell?"

"Marin is Deaton's younger sister." Grace revealed before pulling her daughter to the side. "We're going to do her a favor and find Deaton ourselves."

"But my friendsβ€”"

"Wolves aren't know for the precise location." Grace stated, making Riley look in surprise. "Don't look so surprised, I've lived in this town before. I know what creatures lurk through the night."

"And you didn't tell?" Riley said, dramatically holding her chest. "Mother, I thought we were close."

"Locator spells aren't precise locations either." Ms. Morrell chimed in as she came to the two with Scott and Stiles trailing behind. "But there's a person who might actually have an ability to seek out the precise location of any supernatural."

"Who is it?" Grace asked.

"Lydia." Riley voiced.

Β  Β  Β  Β  π‘πˆπ‹π„π˜ 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐑 πŒπŽπ“π‡π„π‘ found themselves 𝐒𝐧 the chemistry class with Stiles, Lydia and Cora. She is Derek's sister. A person Riley has yet to meet. He seemed to be very important to Scott and his pack.

"Okay, can someone tell what's happening?" Lydia questioned the group.

"Lyds, Riley and her mom are going go perform a locator spell to find Scott's boss, the guy who has save our collective asses on more than one occasion." Stiles explained.

Lydia's face scrunched up in more confusion. "What does that have to do with me?"

"Well seeing as you are psychic, we're hoping you could help pinpoint his location." Riley answered.

"Not psychic." Lydia shot back.

"You're something! Okay?" Stiles stated, exasperatedly.

Grace decided to step in, seeing this wasn't going anywhere. "If I may..."

Stiles sighed, taking got Deaton's keys out of his pocket and heading them to Grace.

"I know you may think you're not psychic, but I can sense you have a very unique ability to sense things that not even those gifted with magic could." Grace spoke softly to Lydia. "Though you don't know how to control which completely understandable. All I need you to do is concentrate on Deaton, Riley amd I will do the rest, okay?"

Lydia stared at the woman, but nodded her head.

Riley laid out a map of Beacon Hills that she grabbed from a nearby pizzeria and opened her grimoire to the incantation of the locator spell. While Grace dropped the keys in Lydia's hand. The strawberry blonde's body jumped as soon as the metallic material came into contact with her skin.

"Lydia, what?" Stiles asked, hoping she saw something.

"They're cold." she muttered.

Riley swears she saw Stiles' right eye twitch in annoyance when he heard her response.

"Lydia concentrate please. We're trying to save lives here, for the love of God" Stiles begged her.

"Stiles, not helping." Riley voiced.

"Right." Stiles mumbled, stepping next to the observant Cora.

Lydia closed her eyes and focused on the keys as Riley and Grace linked hands with her before reading the words off of the grimoire.

"Phasmatos Tribum, Nas Ex Veras, Sequitas Sanguinem." The two Marshall chanted.

Stiles and Cora watched the trio, curiously and anxiously awaiting.

There was little flickers of images that both Riley and Grace but it wasn't enough, so they chanted again.

"Phasmatos Tribum, Nas Ex Veras, Sequitas Sanguinem."

The second chant forced a gasp to escape Riley, Lydia and Grace's lips as the sight of a vault with a symbol was unfamiliar yet recognizable. There was moths circulating throughout the building, blocking a path where a body could be seen dangling in the air. The image quickly disappeared and forced the trio back into the present where they could see Stiles and Cora gazing expectantly.

"The gasp meant you found something." Stiles presumed.

"That wasβ€”different." Lydia voiced, dropping the keys onto the desk.

"So where is he?" Cora asked.

"It looked a vault." Riley stated.

"There was this symbol on the door." Grace whispered, trying to think where she has seen the symbol before.

"Great, that narrows it down." Stiles murmured.

Lydia rolled her eyes, quickly sketching onto the map and showed it to Cora and Stiles.

"Oh, of course it's that vault." Stiles acknowledged.

"You know where this is?" Riley asked Stiles.

Stiles nodded, "Unfortunately yes."

"That's where the Alpha Pack locked me and Boyd for four months." Cora bellowed out with a growl. "Beacon Hills National Bank."

Riley looked to her mother, "Come on, we'll have to tell Scott."

π‘πˆπ‹π„π˜ 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 rushed into the bank following after Scott as he led to the vault. The trio stood the entrance and saw Deaton's body dangling in the air, unconscious.

"Alan!" Grace called out, but he remained still.

Scott quickly rushed over towards him, but a force blocked him from reaching Deaton and pushed him to the ground.

Grace stepped closer, recognizing the dust trail encircling Deaton. "Mount Ash."

"We can try together." Riley helped Scott to his feet, assuring him.

Scott nodded his head and together, the two approached the barrier. Both pushing their bodies against with force and straining grunts, trying to withstand the pressure building up against them.

Riley can hear the faint sound of her mother telling them to stop but she doesn't pay any attention. She doesn't let it deter her, Deaton is counting on her and Scott.

Disturbed by the sound of the teens groans, Deaton peeked through his eyes seeing his apprentices straining themselves, but what caught attention was the sight of each of their eyes glowing two sets of color.

Scott's golden hue were drown by ocean of fiery red as Riley's eyes began to shine a luminous white hue, the most recognizable to Deaton. The duo continued to push themselves against the force field, however Scott couldn't tackle the pressure and flew backwards.

Riley continued pushing until an abrupt shining light burst aired the vault. As the brightness dissipated, Grace and Scott spotted the circle of Mount Ash cracked with the young girl's body sprawled across the floor.

"Riley!" Grace rushed over to her daughter's side. She put Riley's head in her lap, checking her pulse and let out a breath of relief.

"Is she okay?" Scott asked as he helped Deaton to his feet.

"She's okay. Breaking through that barrier was a lot for body." Grace answered, looking up at Deaton. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, now." Deaton stated before shifting his attention to Scott. "Your eyes were red! Bright red!"

Scott's face looked aghast, "How is that possible?"

"It's rare-- it's something that doesn't happen within a hundred years. But, every once in a while, a Beta can become an Alpha without having to steal or take that power. They call it a True Alpha. It's one that rises purely on the strength of character, by virtue, by sheer force of will." Deaton explained.

"You knew this would happen." Scott assumed.

Deaton shook his head, "I believed. From the moment I knew you were bitten, I believed."

"You're not the only one."

Deaton knew he was talking about, "No. Deucalion isn't after Derek-- he's after you."

Scott was silent for a moment, letting those words echo through his head before shaking it off. "I've got to call the Sheriff, will you be okay?"

"I'll be fine." Deaton replied.

Scott sat Deaton down against a nearby desk. His brown eyes gazed over at the unconscious Riley shortly then quickly exited the vault to call the Sheriff.

Once he was out of view, Deaton turned to the mother and daughter duo, remembering the sight of Riley's white illuminated eyes. "Grace, Riley's eyesβ€”"

"I know I saw. She just like him." Grace whispered the last word. "I was hoping this wouldn't happen."

"Are you gonna tell her?" Deaton questioned.

Grace shooked her head. "No. There's no reason to, he's not coming back. We trapped him in the Nemeton."
