Everyone knows the incredible story of Merlin, but history seems to have forgotten his sister Nerissa.

Growing up in Ealdor, Nerissa is quite used to living in Merlin's shadow - for better or worse. But ceaseless marriage proposals cause her to seek refuge in Camelot with her brother and uncle. She has no desire to be some man's poor little wife.  She's destined to be more and she knows it. 

Once in Camelot, she catches the eye of Prince Arthur Pendragon.  Despite his best efforts, he cannot tempt her with his charm.  A first for the prince of Camelot. So, he makes it his mission to get her to fall for him.

And she does. Literally, not figurately. . . at least not right away. 

Arthur finds himself unexpectedly losing his heart to Nerissa.  There are so many reasons why it shouldn't work between them. But the heart wants what it wants.  And Arthur is not used to being told no. Except by Nerissa, of course. The one person who makes him seem to throw all sorts of sense out the window.

But for every string tugging the pair closer together, there seems to be another string threatening to pull them apart.
