PLOT

Harry and Hendrick Potter had no true place in the world. Their parents were taken from them when they were only babies, leaving them in the care of their aunt and uncle. But instead of feeling at home with their extended family, they were treated as nothing more than servants. When they weren't needed, they were locked away in a room far too small under the staircase. Luckily for the twins, they were always sure the other knew they were loved. But all that changed on their eleventh birthday when an old friend revealed surprising information to them.

Harry and Hendrick were wizards.

Before they could fully comprehend what was happening, the Potter twins were whisked away to a whole new world. Everything they thought was just a fairy tale turned out to be true and would change their lives forever. Harry and Hendrick soon boarded the Hogwarts Express. They quickly met some friends, one who instantly caught Hendrick's eye. He had never met someone as smart and quick-witted as Hermione Granger, and he was determined to get to know her better. It wasn't long before they arrived at Hogwarts, where they would be sorted into their Houses. Harry and Hendrick were ready to face this new world. But after the Sorting Ceremony, they discovered it wouldn't be together.

Harry was sorted into Gryffindor.
Hendrick was sorted into Slytherin.

Hendrick didn't know how to navigate the world without his brother. Most of the Slytherins were quick to shut him out, knowing who his parents were. Luckily for Hendrick, Blythe Zabini didn't hesitate to take him under her wing. The two of them formed a very fast and very close friendship, becoming another sibling in each other's lives. But while Hendrick got closer to his new friend, he became farther away from Harry, who grew more skeptical of Slytherins by the day. Especially after hearing what lay ahead of them. While one twin was destined to defeat the Dark Lord, the other was destined to join him. But Hendrick wasn't worried about the prophecy. It was just words after all.

He was determined to prove the world wrong.

NOTES

▻ Hendrick and Hermione will have a very slowburn romance. They never see each other as enemies, but she is a bit skeptical of him. Although they aren't friends at first, Hendrick is very protective of Hermione, especially when Draco picks on her. Their relationship shouldn't start until their second year, and even then, it's only a crush.

▻ Hendrick is a bit quieter than Harry. He tends to keep to himself more and avoids conflict whenever he can. That changed when he arrived at Hogwarts, knowing he had to be stronger to survive in Slytherin. Hendrick is younger than Harry by 7 minutes, and Harry never lets him forget it.

▻ Hendrick joins the Slytherin Quidditch Team during his second year. He is their Keeper. He didn't want to join at first, but Hermione and Blythe convinced him to join.

▻ Blythe is a year older than Hendrick. She is very sassy and always speaks her mind. There are never any romantic feelings between Hendrick and Blythe. They are just best friends.

▻ Hendrick goes to live with the Zabinis instead of returning to the Dursleys at the end of his first year. He doesn't learn about Dobby until Harry arrives at Hogwarts for their second year.

▻ You can choose Blythe's love interest. She can also remain without a love interest. It is entirely up to you.
