PLOT

Katey Kendal was your typical high school student. She had good grades and even better friends. She was on the school's decathlon and volleyball teams. She even had a few ideas about where she wanted to go to college. But Katey never thought being struck by lightning while talking on the phone with her mom would change her life. She was comatose for two months before rejoining the world. But Katey was different from her previous self. Not only did she gain a new fear of storms, but now she had new abilities. Abilities that terrified her more than anything else in the world.

Katey could control technology.

Now Katey had to do everything she could not to reveal herself to the world. That was much easier said than done. Everywhere she went, technology came to life. From dead cell phones to car engines, everything seemed to light up when the Kendal girl passed. She gained more control over her abilities over the years, but she still hadn't perfected them. Every so often something strange with happen any time she was around anything electronic. And to her dismay, someone finally caught on to what was happening.

Now Peter Parker wouldn't leave her alone.

It started with him asking her basic questions about the strange things happening around them. Or comments like "I don't remember my phone being at 100%." Katey would always find a way to divert his attention, usually by showing him the latest news on Spider-Man. But Peter never stopped. He was determined to find out why technology seemed to come to like around Katey Kendal. A few weeks passed and she thought she was finally in the clear. Peter was nowhere around and that brought her a sense of relief. But then something strange happened.

If only she never walked passed that alien device.

NOTES

▻ Katey never wanted to be a superhero and was always terrified of her powers. Peter helps her work through these fears and shows her that she can make a difference in the world.

▻ She doesn't like Tony at first. Mainly because of the way he treats Peter. But she warms up to him by the end of Homecoming.

▻ Katey uses her powers to help hack into Peter's suit.

▻ She doesn't want to help Thanos and thinks her powers are useless. Peter eventually convinces her to help them.

▻ I don't mind you adding more powers to Katey. But they must be technology/lightning related.
