2: We Got A Problem...

"Do y'all actually believe in this stupid bullshit?" Ryujin spoke loud and clear, making everyone, including the nine, pay attention to her. Everybody probably thought that she was a moody teenager that had anger issues.

"I mean... if it was a troll, how could he or she message all of us with something so mysterious?" Beomgyu said, trying to sound intelligent and logical. His calm and mature voice made Ryujin kind of irritated, but instead of showing all her anger on his face, she just sat down aggressively. Lia asked no questions.

"Order for Lia, is Lia there?" Even though Lia probably had already forgotten her order, Lia left the others for a little bit. She went to the cashier to get the cappuccinos and frappuccinos she had ordered for her and the five. Maybe that would calm the group down, Lia thought.

"Oh! My Vanilla Bean Frappuccino!" Yuna childishly jumped when Lia came back with some coffee and frappuccino to give her five best friends. Ryujin, Yeonjun, and Taehyun took their coffees happily, making Soobin roll his eyes. Did they just forget what was happening? Soobin thought.

"Guys, I'm sorry to say this, but I have to go. I have a curfew." Ryujin said, making the others give annoyed and disappointed looks. Ryujin noticed their facial expressions and surprisingly just ignored them, but of course, she did it sarcastically.

"Well, let me guess, they also need to go with you?" Chaeryeong rolled her eyes while having her sentence be highlighted in a sarcastic tone, which is very unlike her. Yeonjun nodded with a smirk on his face. He was relieved since he would probably never need to see Yeji's face again. At least he wouldn't be forced to.

"Well, I guess I can give you my phone number," Lia said happily and innocently, making her friends stare at her with wide-open, shocked eyes. Lia started this, so she would want to continue the conversation about A, but give them her phone number? That was unexpected from her, especially when she's friends with Yeonjun.

Yeji nodded, giving Lia a tiny smile. Lia was the group's favorite since she was friendly, smart, determined, and was able to help the group. In contrast, the others were either confused or sarcastic about the whole situation.

After Lia added her number to Yeji's phone, the others awkwardly said goodbye to each other, hoping they would probably never have to meet each other in person again.

Even though they wish they didn't need to have this awkward reaction from each other again, it will be inevitable in the future. A path full of anxiety, stress, anger, and toxicity is coming their way. If they want to live in peace, they will have to work together to see what A wants, or else... you know what happens.

The last story we have experienced wasn't the happiest. The eleven teens had to suffer immensely, giving all their blood, sweat, and tears to that everyday nightmare. Now, it's the ten's turn to go through all that anxiety and stress that the eleven went through.

A week had passed by, and no messages appeared, and no meetings were needed. At this point, the ten thought it was just a troll wanting to make a joke out of them, so they just ignored it and acted like it never happened. They continued their lives normally, even forgetting what happened at the camp, making everything seem too perfect and calm after those two incidents took place.

While others were at home watching movies and tv shows or hanging out with each other. Lia was on her way to Jung's mansion, to be more specific, Jinsoul's house. For unknown reasons, she was invited by the principal to go there. It seemed to be vital, so she dressed the best way she could.

When Lia finally arrived at Jung's mansion, she observed the place and its littlest details that made her eyes sparkle at how magical and fancy it looked. The mansion looked expensive, and sometimes Lia envied Jinsoul's house since it was so much different from her small and impoverished home.

Lia rang the doorbell, still distracted by the mansion's garden full of flowers covered by the beautiful snow. Lia's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the door opening for her.

As she walked in, a familiar maid welcomed her and showed her where the principal's home-office was. Her eyes would still sparkle at the mansion's decoration. It was so beautiful and outstanding. It seriously looked like a movie scenario.

Lia knocked on the door, and in seconds it was open by Mr. Jung. He gave Lia a broad smile to invite her to his office room, which was very modern and minimalist. It gave a big contrast from the rest of the old and gold fashioned mansion.

"Hello, Mr. Jung, why did you call me here? It seemed very important." Lia said, keeping eye contact with Mr. Jung and slowly sitting down.

"Well, as you may know, Jinsoul recently was pronounced dead, and I know you and Jinsoul were quite closer since that time that you used to be her private tutor. I'm very thankful for what you did since you helped raise her grades, and you were a genuine friend to her." Lia nervously bit her lip. She already felt anxious right from the start of the conversation.

Two years ago, Lia used to tutor Jinsoul every day after school. At the start, Jinsoul only gave Lia that opportunity because of the pity she felt for Lia's financial problems. Who wouldn't, right?

But after the tutoring started, Jinsoul and Lia's sincere friendship began. It was a wholesome friendship begun by a simple act of pithiness but also kindness. When Jinsoul disappeared, Lia felt upset and depressed. But after those two years, Lia found a way to forget about their friendship.

When Lia heard those words coming out of Mr. Jung's mouth, it just made Lia feel incredibly guilty. Not only because of her past friendship with Jinsoul but also because she allegedly saw Jinsoul's skeleton hand back at the camp and didn't tell a soul.

"And since I'm extremely thankful to you, I decided to invite you to Jinsoul's funeral in person." He got out a medium-sized invitation letter, putting it on the table.

Lia deeply stared at the letter's cover, thinking about how long time has passed. It was like it all began yesterday when they were enjoying each other the best. It's like Lia couldn't believe Jinsoul was dead because, in Lia's heart, she was still alive, but that letter made her realize that she wasn't there with her anymore. She was gone, forever.

"I will make sure to be there for Jinsoul's funeral. I'm sorry for your loss." Lia looked down at the floor, not wanting to show her pity eyes. Showing pity was never Lia's thing. She knew how humiliating it was to see that pity look on people's faces, but unfortunately, she couldn't stop that look from overcoming her face, so she just looked down to hide it.

"It's okay Lia, I at least now know Jinsoul is safe somewhere else." Mr. Jung gave Lia a sad expression, but he smiled, which made Lia feel much pitier.

"Well, I guess I should get going. Thank you, Mr. Jung, for the invitation. I will gladly be there." Lia slowly stood up, picking up the letter and then putting on her small bag. She then bowed to Mr. Jung, smiling with her teeth to show her support that was undeniably needed at the moment. Even though Mr. Jung acted okay, Lia knew that he was depressed inside, probably feeling guilty for not saving his daughter. Imagine you feel anxious every day for two straight years because you don't know what happened to your daughter. Only to discover that she was brutally murdered and buried in a camp that your senior students went to every year is mentally exhausting, especially when you need to run a school with a big reputation.

As Lia was elegantly walking down the stairs, she noticed someone extremely familiar. She could only see the person's back so that she couldn't identify them very well. The only thing she could see was then in an all-black outfit chit-chatting with one of the busy maids.

As soon as Lia gave a loud step down the stairs, the room went total silent. The only audible thing was the glance that the mysterious person gave Lia.

"Soobin?" Lia asked, walking down the stairs while feeling confused and curious as to why Soobin was here. Well, Soobin thought the same as her. What's Lia doing here? Isn't she known for being low status? What is she doing at Jung's house, dressed all fancy and elegant? Soobin asked one hundred million questions inside his head, but no questions were asked from his mouth.

"I've never seen you before here. Weird." Soobin crossed his arms, lifting an eyebrow. The maid noticed that something would happen, and she probably didn't want to be involved in it, so she sneakily left them alone.

"Two years ago, I used to tutor Jinsoul every single day after school, so we were kind of close with each other. So I got invited here to talk with Mr. Jung about something. How about you? What are you doing here?" Lia spoke in the formal tongue, sounding more severe and intimidating. It was like a battlefield, but they were just fighting each other with unnecessary stare-contest instead of having a reasonable reason.

"I'm Jinsoul's boyfriend. Well, I was Jinsoul's boyfriend, unfortunately not anymore." This time Soobin broke the stare, getting himself distracted by other things in the big room so that he didn't need to look her in the eyes. Lia was still staring at him, but instead of having a battle stare, she had an "I'm sorry" stare. Once again, she broke her rule of not showing others pithiness.

"Then you must be feeling just as guilty as I am." Soobin got his eyes fixated on Lia again, now thinking more curiously.

"We saw Jinsoul's body back at the camp. We didn't know it was her, but at least I feel guilty about it." Soobin's eyes suddenly widened. Soobin had forgotten what happened at the Jungle so quickly that he forgot the dots that he had connected before. That body was Jinsoul's, and he helped hide that body so no one else could find it.

"It's okay to be upset, buddy. We are both on the same boat." Lia tapped Soobin's back two times to show sympathy for the boy but instead made him feel a bit uncomfortable.

Lia was looking at Soobin with a friendly, understanding face, while Soobin gave a 'bitchy' look back. Still, Lia didn't mind. Lia isn't easily bothered by things, the total opposite of Soobin.

"Anyways, I shall be going home now. Goodbye, I guess." When Soobin heard those words, he felt a need to say something that he didn't really mean, but it just left his mouth. "Should I walk you home?" Soobin said without thinking or hesitating, which was unlike him.

Lia looked him up and down, trying to figure out what Soobin wanted out of her after he said that. Why would someone that you barely know asks to bring you home? Lia thought to herself, genuinely asking while making confused facial expressions. Maybe he's just trying to be nice! Lia finally answered herself after leaving Soobin awkwardly waiting for a response.

"Sure." Lia politely accepted Soobin's unwanted request. In his head, he profoundly wished that she would tell him a 'no' since he only asked on accident. But now he has to walk this poor girl home, and he doesn't think of her in a poor, financial way, but in a personalized way.

What a pity, right?

On a cold, cloudy, and winter afternoon, what else could you do but either stay at home watching the same show for the 6th time or go out and enjoy the dull weather that Seoul gave you today? Well, between those options, Chaeryeong and Yeji both chose option two. In a world where people like to see things as it is, Chaeryeong and Yeji want to see through it and discover its secrets. So basically they like to learn more about the city even though they have been living there for 18 years.

As they were walking through one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Seoul, they got to see one of the fanciest mansions in the community. The Jung's Mansion.

They stopped their long walk to examine the golden and gracious house. Various thoughts came by. The memories that the house had created gave Chaeryeong and Yeji so much nostalgia from the ancient times.

"Chaer, do you remember when Jinsoul had hosted a party when Mr. Jung went on work a trip?" Yeji asked, still examining the house without any distractions.

"Yeah, we had such a good time. I miss those parties that Jinsoul hosted, she did host the best ones, but unfortunately, she isn't here with us anymore to hear our compliments." Yeji's smile slowly faded as she heard Chaeryeong's last words. Jinsoul went missing for two whole years before being pronounced dead. Many people were missing her, thinking she was alive, now they are missing her, knowing she's dead. And now that she's no longer here in this world, many people might be regretting that they didn't do or say things that would've made her happier.

"Sad, isn't it? Well, we can't run away from the truth. We just gotta surf with the big wave instead of getting dragged by it." For a second, Yeji couldn't understand what Chaeryeong meant. Metaphors were never Yeji's thing. Life is profound, and Yeji understands that, but metaphors make life even more profound.

Chaeryeong noticed Yeji's hard thinking to understand such a simple phrase. "I know you don't understand what I'm saying, but one day you will." Those words left Yeji curious if she doesn't understand now, how is she understand soon? 18 years haven't passed for her to still don't know to take metaphors well. Life would be easier if people could just stop with these profound and inspirational sayings and just get straight to the point.

After those words, the atmosphere between Chaeryeong and Yeji was quiet yet loud, which left them kind of awkward even though they have known each other for multiple years. They were just quietly observing the nostalgic mansion with sad but fixated eyes.

Focused on every single part of the house, the girls noticed two people coming out of the mansion. It was a boy, and Yeji and Chaeryeong couldn't see a girl that they were looking at from afar, the girl and the big, but they were still trying to discover who the two were.

"That boy seems very familiar. He looks a lot like Soobin." Chaeryeong said naively, but that's when she and Yeji had their eyes widen together.

"Bitch... that is Soobin!" Yeji emphasized her words by yelling very loudly in a strange excitement. The two knew that Soobin's ex was Jinsoul, so it makes sense for him to appear at Jung's house after Jinsoul's passing. They couldn't understand what is Soobin doing with a mysterious girl in front of his ex's house? It was so weird and out of pocket, but there must be a reason, which the girls were thinking very hard to try to find that reason.

As they were hardly observing the two, suddenly, their phones vibrated inside of their front pockets. It was probably a message from their parents or friends, so they casually picked their phone up only to see a letter from an unknown messenger. They weren't the only ones who received the message. The teens on the other side of the street had also picked up their phones with curious expressions. A sent all of the letters with different words, each message made to attack each individual.

"Missing Jinsoul? Don't worry. You might meet her soon in hell, where you two will rot together. :)" - From A to Soobin.

"Poor soul, feeling guilty because you helped hide your little friend's body? As you should, you are a fucking bitch." - From A to Lia.

"I-is t-this h-how you a-are going to r-r-react when you g-get another t-trauma?" - From A to Chaeryeong.

"Oh hey Hwang Yeji, you are that bitch that I messaged that has anxiety, right? Poor you :( you should get help from Choi Soobin and Choi Lia, who are on the other side of the street. Maybe they'll cure you of your dramatic ass. :)" - From A to Yeji.

The scared teens felt anxious, with voices doing creepy laughing and very loudly screaming inside their heads. It might sound like they are dramatic or overreacting but, when you receive a message making you think about someone's death or your personal trauma, it's a big deal that comes with emotions that only you can feel, nobody else.

The four stayed on the spot, still, with scared faces, not knowing what to do. Too much information was sent to them separately that they didn't know what to do. It was like they were waiting for something to happen.

Well... it did.

"Chaer... I think we got a problem."
