Luther nervously rubbed his hands together as he walked alongside the older Five. The older Five scratched his neck using his shoulder. "All right, just be cool 'till I finish the job on the grassy knoll." The older Five told Luther. "We'll get the time math and I'll ice the squirt."

Luther sighed. "I just wish there was another way, you know?"

"There isn't. Look at him." The older Five and Luther glanced at Five who suddenly yelled at a civilian. "What are you looking at?" Five questioned. "See something funny?"

"Worst case of paradox psychosis I have ever seen." The older Five commented. He noticed Luther looking worriedly at the teen who was scratching the back of his head. "What's wrong?"

"Well, I... feel bad for him, you know?" Luther answered. "He's just a little guy."

"Mind your business!" Five continued to exclaim. "Or I'll give you something to stare at. You wish you could pull off these shorts!"

The Old Five rolled his eyes. "Everybody's a little guy to you. You look like King Kong and the Hitler Youth had a baby."

Five scratched the back of his head as he watched his older-looking self and Luther talking. 'Oh, they're planning on something.' As the two stopped talking, the older Five continued walking while Luther waited for Five.

Luther chuckled nervously at Five who was staring up at him suspiciously. "Hey, brother." Luther greeted. "How are you doing?"

Five narrowed his eyes at him and glanced at his older self. "He's gonna kill me, isn't he?"

Luther scoffed. "What?" He shook his head. "What, him? He's gonna kill you? That's ridiculous."

"You know, you're a terrible liar, Luther." Five stated causing Luther's nervous smile to disappear instantly and pinched his nose bridge in stress. "You're a worse liar than you are a spotter."

"Okay, who's fault is that? What good is having a spotter if you won't even listen to him?"

"So you admit you're conspiring against me?"

"Do you admit that you're suffering from paradox psychosis?"

"All I'm suffering from is bracing clarity about you and your murderous intentions."

"Look, it's not like he's gonna 'kill you' kill you. He just wants to kill a, um, version of you."

Five froze to stare at his brother in disbelief and approached him. "But I am that version of me."

"Hey, I don't love it, either, but he's got a pretty good plan."

"What?" Five asked. "The one where you guys off me and then jump to 2019 to save the world?"

"Yeah, wait, how did you know that?"

Five wiped his sweat off his forehead. "Because I am him and that is exactly what I would do if I were trying to kill me!"

"Okay, all I know is we've got one Five too many, and you're the one acting like a maniac."

Five snapped his head towards Luther before walking quickly to his side. "Maniac? Luther, you have seen nothing. If you want a maniac, I will show you maniac." He threatened, earning a step back from Luther.

Luther sighed. "Okay, as your spotter, I think the best thing I can do for you right now is put you out of your misery."

Five scoffed and grabbed Luther's arms, stopping them both, huffing. "Okay, Luther, listen. I know your feeble mind only responds to age and authority, so listen very closely." He took a deep breath. "Yet again, you are experiencing daddy issues, this time with your own brother, which honestly is making me a bit crazy."

Five released Luther from his grasp and fixed his blazer as he scratched a bit. "But remember this: I'm 14 days older than him. I have seniority here. So it is me you should be listening to, Luther. I'm the daddy here!"

People around them looked towards Five and Luther in confusion causing Luther to greet them a bit to ease the tension. "How's it going?" Luther greeted with a forced laugh. He looked down at Five leaned down to whisper. "Five, please, you're being unseemly. Look at you."

The two continued to walk as Five slowly nodded. "I admit there is a possibility that I may not be in my fully... right mind right now." He glanced at his older self and pointed at him. "But whatever I've got, he's got it too."

"What?" Luther asked but Five walked faster to catch up with the older Five.

"You two quit grab-assing." The older Five scolded. "We're here."

The older-looking Five set down his two briefcases and suddenly farted. Luther widened his eyes in surprise and realization. "Flatulence. Stage four." He said.

"See? What's your plan now, bucko?" Five asked until he started farting. Five looked away in a bit of shame and slightly gave a look towards Luther. "That was just lunch, all right? Shut up."

The older Five started preparing and assembling his sniper gun as the radio just beside him continued playing. The older Five finally finished and stood up. "This is my favorite part. The calm before the storm." He stated.

Five impatiently watched his older self preparing as he breathed heavily while Luther was playing with his thumbs nervously. Five noticed the briefcase just beside his old version. "Look. The briefcase." He whispered.

"No, don't," Luther warned, stopping his brother. "You won't be able to get there in time."

"No, I can get there in time. Of course, I will." Five insisted, his eye twitching in anticipation. "This is our only chance."

"Hey, uh, just remind me... what was the final stage of paradox psychosis again?"

"Homicidal rage."

Luther smiled. "Right. That's great." Slowly, his smile disappeared in realization. He turned to Five. "Five, listen to me. I..."

Five didn't bother to listen to the rest of Luther's sentence and sneakily went after the briefcase. Luther tried to stop him but he failed. "No. No!" Luther exclaimed in a quiet tone.

The older version of Five saw Five through his scope from his sniper gun and he immediately spatial jumped before Five could even reach him. The older Five quickly pointed his gun right at Five. "Bad idea, shit-heel."

"Oh... shit." Luther sighed and grabbed the gun out of Old Five's grasp. "Stop it! All right? The both of you. Pull it together. Now, Kennedy is gonna be coming around that corner any minute. Okay? So, everyone, let's just take a deep breath..."

Both Fives took a deep breath with Luther as they both looked at him impatiently. "Now, we're all family here, okay? So can we all just try to get along for a few more minutes?"

Five blinked at his brother and turned to his older self. "You want it?"

The older Five nodded. "Go ahead."

Luther raised an eyebrow. "What's that?"

Five approached Luther, lifting his leg to deliver a painful kick towards Luther's groin. Luther exclaimed in pain and almost fell to the ground.

Five fixed his blazer and smirked proudly. The older Five smirked and turned back to his younger self. "Now..."

"Where were we?" Five asked before spatial jumping.

The two Fives fought as they kept on spatial jumping in different areas. Little Five was sometimes punching his older self and sometimes Older Five could even throw a punch at his younger self. It was vice-versa. The two Fives reappeared on Luther's side.

"Would you pleaseβ€”" Luther was unable to finish his sentence when Five and Older Five kicked him again in unison before spatial jumping. Luther tried to ignore the pain and huffed in annoyance. "Hey! I'm getting really sick of this!"

The two Fives fought again until they both finally stopped, reappearing in front of Luther just a few feet away. They were covered in sweat and they were panting heavily.

"Getting tired yet?" The older Five asked.

"I can do this all day." Five scoffed.

"Guys, this has to stop." Luther pleaded.

"Eat shit, Ape Man." The two men replied in unison to Luther. The two Fives ran to each other but ended up being blown up by their powers. The two landed harshly on the ground, groaning in pain.

Luther grabbed the older Five's gun from the ground. "Hey! Assholes! I'm done listening to you both. I'm in charge now." Luther pointed the gun to the older-looking Five but he quickly yelled. "Now, Luther! Shoot him!"

Five's eyes widened. "No! Luther, shoot him!"

"Shoot him!"

"No, Luther, shoot him!"

"Luther, shoot him!"

"Luther, shoot him!"

"Now, Luther!"

Luther aimed the gun simultaneously at the two Fives until he finally pointed it to Five instead of pointing it to the older Five. "Luther..." Five pleaded.

"I'm sorry, buddy." Luther was about to hit the trigger but he quickly hit the older-looking Five, knocking him out. Five gasped in surprise as Luther turned to him. "Now! Open the portal!"

Luther grabbed the briefcase while Five was figuring out how to start or where to start the portal. When he found a spot, Five closed his eyes and used his powers to open a portal. He opened his eyes and found his siblings looking up, seeing the portal he made.

The older Five regained back his consciousness and Five spotted him trying to get the briefcase. Luther immediately pointed the gun at Five's older-looking self. "Don't even think about it."

"Into the vortex you go, asshole." Five exclaimed.

"Fine!" Older Five yelled. "But give me the math. So I don't end up looking like Tiger Beat over here."

"You stand next to the vortex and I'll tell ya." The older Five glanced at the portal, hesitating for a bit causing Five to. "Go!" His older self stood near the vortex. "Closer!"

"This is close enough!" Older Five complained. "Now give it to me!"

Five turned to Luther and he gave him a nod. Five sighed. "It was a typo."

"Typo?"

"We put the decimal in the wrong spot in our proof of the existence of a bound for the number of limit cycles of planar polynomial vector fields of fixed degree. We wrote down five-point-seven. It should be..."

"Zero-point-five-seven." The two Fives said in unison. "Son of a bitch!" Older Five exclaimed in frustration. "I knew that didn't look right."

The older Five glanced at the vortex. "One more question."

Five rolled his eyes in annoyance. "What?"

"Who is (Y/n)?" The older Five asked. "Her name is familiar. You got a woman, hm?"

Five glanced at Luther before looking down to his feet, clenching his jaw. "It's complicated." He looked up to his older self. "Just... don't do anything stupid when you meet her in 2019."

The older Five thought about what his younger-looking self said before sighing. "All right... I guess this is it."

"This is it." Five fixed his blazer and gestured for his older-looking self to go. "Go."

Suddenly, a flying object came out from the portal, hitting right at Luther's head. Five looked down at Luther who fell on the ground and saw the object that hit his brother. A fire extinguisher. Five glanced at the portal to see that it was Klaus who threw the extinguisher.

The older Five suddenly reached out for the briefcase causing Five to dive towards the case. The two struggled on pulling the briefcases towards each other.

"Five!" Luther groaned in pain. "It's shrinking!"

Five's eyes widened as he spotted the vortex closing. Luther immediately stood up and kicked the older Five right into the portal. Five accidentally let go of the briefcase while the older-looking Five has his grasp on the briefcase's handle. Old Five screamed but was suddenly cut off when he entered the portal. The vortex closed causing Luther to smile widely while Five noticed the briefcase was split in half.

"We did it!"

Five closed his eyes in frustration. "The briefcase, you idiot." He huffed.

"What?" Luther asked as he looked down to see the damaged briefcase. He turned to Five in annoyance. "Hey, you know what? A thank-you for preserving your existence would be nice."

"Tch. 'A thank-you.' Oh, my..." Five muttered until he realized something when he heard the radio that the Older Five have left and the crowd's applause. "Luther! Luther! Here he comes!"

Five took the brown briefcase that the older-looking Five have left and stepped on it to see what was happening over the fence while Luther stood next to him.

Luther pointed his finger when he spotted someone. "Look, there's Dad." He stated, seeing a black-suited man with a black hat and a black umbrella in his hand, standing on the grassy knoll. "What do we do?"

Five looked away when he spotted someone else. "Uh-oh." He gasped. "Agh." He groaned in annoyance.

Luther looked at Diego and sighed. "Oh, shit."

"Diego." Five hissed.

Diego sprinted towards the man in the black suit and tackled him to the ground. Diego stood up when he saw that the man wasn't Reginald Hargreeves. The man snickered.

Suddenly, gunshots were heard causing Diego to turn around. "No!" Diego screamed.

People started screaming and running away as police sirens started wailing. Five watched as Diego grabbed the man's clothes in anger. "Where the hell is he?" Diego questioned. The man pulled out a piece of paper and gave it to Diego. He stood up and unfolded the piece of paper seeing three words.

"Told you so..."
