"So, what, you just let her go?" Diego asked Five.

Five was pacing around the room while Lila was treating Diego's wound. "Well, Vanya had a lot to process." Five sighed. "She'll come around. I know she will."

"What about the guys that went after her?"

"The Swedes?"

"Yeah, I mean, how do you know they won't go after her again?"

"We don't."

Elliott came back with cups of coffee and gave one to Lila while the other one to Five. Lila gladly accepted and sipped her coffee. "Mm, any idea who sent them?"

"Oh, I have my suspicions." Five answered with a smile and sat down on his seat. "But right now, our priority is finding Dad and getting answers, 'cause everything else depends on it."

"Which, for the record, I found him already," Diego told Five.

"And then let him go before we could have a meaningful conversation."

"He stabbed me." Diego reasoned.

Five scoffed. "I'm surprised he waited this long, Diego. We've all had the urge."

Lila laughed while Elliott chuckled. Lila raised her hand, waiting for a high five from Five. "Good one." Five stared at her before ignoring her and looking back at Diego. "Good thing I know where dad's gonna be tonight." Five gave Diego the invitation he found back at Reginald's place while Lila frowned and lowered her hand down.

"Where'd you get this?" Diego asked.

"Found it at his office while he was busy stabbing you."

Diego chuckled sarcastically before rolling his eyes and looking back at the invitation. "Hoyt Hillenkoetter and the Consulate General of Mexico in Dallas cordially invite you to a gala."

Elliott gasped and widened his eyes. "Woah, wait. Hoyt Hillenkoetter? Are you serious?"

"You know him?" Five asked.

Lila gasped when she read the invitation. "We should go. Says there's gonna be a seafood tower."

"No, Hillenkoetter is... is one of the Majestic Twelve," Elliott said.

"The hell is the Majestic Twelve?" Diego questioned.

"It's... a secret committee. Uh, scientists, military, uh, deep state." Elliott walked over to his table full of his research and looked for something. "No one knows what they really do."

"Wait, so they're government?"

"Shadow government. Yeah, Kennedy was the first president to try to push 'em into the light, but these guys are not to be trifled with. Ah, right here." Elliott found something and placed it down on the coffee table, showing it to everyone. "This, uh... Oh, right here." he tapped his finger on someone's face on the picture. "That's Hoyt right there."

"Huh." Five hummed in amusement while Diego grunted as he sat up straight to see what was in the picture. Lila looked as well and softly gasped. "I only count 11."

"Well, that's because they've only identified 11 so far."

"Who's the twelfth?" Diego asked.

Five looked up from the picture to Diego, giving him a knowing look.

Five, Diego, and Lila hid just beside a car. Diego and Lila dressed up formally to blend in with the crown while Five didn't bother to put anything on and just wore his uniform.

"So, what's the plan?" Five asked.

Diego, who was observing the place and people, turned to his brother and Lila. "We infiltrate, we identify, we extract. Double time." Diego instructed in a hushed tone.

Five nodded, understanding his brother while Lila didn't understand him so she turned to look at Five. "What the hell's he talking about?"

"Find the old man and get out fast." Five said.

Diego blinked and looked back at the two before frowning. "That's what I said," Diego replied. "On me."

Diego walked fast while crouching and hid in the other car so the guests wouldn't spot him. Five waited for Lila to move but she looked at him. "After you." Five just stared at her, his eyes narrowing suspiciously. "What, I can't be polite?"

"Cut the crap. All right?" Five snapped in a hushed tone. "My dimwitted brother might buy your bullshit, but I don't trust you for a second."

Lila stared at him in surprise. "O ye of little faith."

"Stick it up to your ass." He gave Lila a fake grin which Lila returned with a smile too. Lila started walking while Five followed.

The three managed to sneak their way inside and found themselves crowded with rich and fancy people. Diego stopped in the middle of a hallway, looking around. "I don't see Dad anywhere."

"Just keep an eye out for the Majestic Twelve." Five said. "I got upstairs. And Diego, try not to do anything too stupid."

Lila chuckled softly. Five walked away from the two while Lila eyed on Five. She was about to follow him but Diego grabbed her before she could go any further.

Five looked up at the stairs and took a step until his hand was grabbed and pulled away from the stairs. Five was face-to-face with you as you gave him a smirk. "Didn't I told you to stop following your father?"

Five frowned. "Oh, great. You're here."

"Upset about seeing me?"

"I wouldn't say I was upset." Five spun you when the music from the band started kicking in. "But you're in my way."

You softly scoffed. "Well, you're disturbing your father with you following him and now coming into the party. I suggest you turn around and leave."

"And what if I don't want to? You're gonna kill me?"

A smirk formed on your lips. "I could try."

"But you won't."

The two of you unknowingly started dancing as you both stared at each other. Your hand was above his shoulder while the other one was holdings his hand. His other hand was on your waist. Even though you two weren't wearing proper attire for this party, you two didn't care who's watching or whispering.

"Five."

"Hm?"

"You said something about the apocalypse..." You said. "Five, the apocalypse happens in 2019."

"This is a new one. I saw it, (Y/n). You were there and so were my siblings."

You looked down and sighed. "I guess this one of the disadvantages of being away from the Commission.

Five cracked a smile and looked away to chuckle. You looked up again and your lips curved into a smile as you see him chuckling. He looked back at you and softly sighed. "That's one of my disadvantages too. A man who can time travel and can see the future once you botched it."

Your hand clung to his shoulder as you looked at his chest. "It must be hard... to be stuck in the future and grow old there without your family or friends."

He shrugged. "I barely managed. Besides, I don't think I made friends outside the Academy."

"Ben was the only friend I got until the Handler took me away." You confessed. "What's worse was he died. Now I don't have any friends."

"My family could be your friends."

"I don't think they like me very much."

"I could be your friend."

You stifled a laugh and looked at him causing your smile to fade. He was staring at you and you could tell he was genuine with what he said. His stare suddenly made you look away as your cheeks heat up. Five smiled. "What's wrong?"

You shook your head silently until your eyes landed on a dark-skinned woman who was glaring intensely at you. You stopped and pulled away from Five. "I-I'll be right back."

Before Five could ask where you're going, you walked away and approached Lila. Five, on the other hand, took this opportunity to get upstairs to find Reginald Hargreeves.
