"She's alive?"

You slowly opened your eyes and saw a bunch of people was crowding over you. You quickly got up and the people stepped back. You looked around the place. You were back inside the restaurant and were placed on the couch.

"A-Are you okay?" The waitress asked.

You were about to talk when you remembered Leonard's stabbings in your back. You reached your hands out on your back for your wounds but found them treated. "Thank you for treating my wounds. Iβ€”"

"We actually thought you were dead." One customer admitted. "It was like 15 stab wounds but they just slowly disappeared."

"Wait. Disappeared?"

The other people around you nodded. You excused yourself and went to the restroom. You removed your blazer and lifted your shirt up.

No markings.

No stitches.

No stab wounds.

But your clothes were all bloody. You stared at your reflection in astonishment. Your powers. It was the only explanation on why you healed sp fast. You wondered why you weren't able to use your powers nor heal faster before.

And then you remembered the day you were feeling like you wanted to explode. You noticed your bracelet blinking red and the Handler fixing it. 'The bracelet was preventing me to use my powers.'

You exited the restroom and faced the people who brought you back inside the restaurant. "Do... uh... any of you guys clothes for me to wear? My clothes are all bloody."

A man raised his hand. "My daughter has extra clothes."

His daughter looked up from her phone and frowned. "Dad!" She whined.

"Oh, hush up, you have a lot of clothes. This poor girl just got stabbed and her clothes are covered in blood."

The young woman huffed before setting her phone down and bringing up her suitcase. You approached the young teenager as she opened her suitcase. Your eyes slightly widened to see her clothes inside.

Her father quickly closed her suitcase. "What the hell, Trisha?"

"What?"

Her father rolled his eyes before looking apologetically to you. "Sorry for witnessing that. Do you mind a polo of mine? I can give you my daughter's extra jeans."

You shrugged. "That would do. Thanks, mister."

The man gave you his red polo, which was definitely oversized for you, and lend you his daughter's jeans. You smiled kindly before changing your clothes in the restroom. Once you were ready, you thanked everyone who helped you.

You walked outside the restaurant and found your stolen motorcycle was still there. 'He didn't even steal it. He probably doesn't know how to drive it.'

You were about to approach the red motorcycle when you remembered your powers. 'I think this is the perfect time to use my powers.'

You focused on the road and felt your body being surrounded by energy and light. You looked down and saw your feet were no longer on the ground. You let out a joyful laugh before flying away from the restaurant and gas station.

"Holy shit!" You screamed as you flew in the sky. It was a bit wonky and you almost fell once or twice but in a few seconds, you managed to get the hang of it. You've never felt so alive.

You shook your head and quickly headed to the cabin where Vanya is. Slowly landing on the ground, you found no sign of people back in the cabin. The lights were all on so you decided to investigate.

The door was opened and everything was a mess. Things were scattered everywhere. What you did not expect was a puddle of blood drying up on the wooden floors. You crouched down and stared down at the blood. "Who's blood is this?"

You worried over Vanya's safety and for her siblings. You stepped outside the cabin and looked at the sky. You have a new mission: stop the upcoming apocalypse.

And by stopping it means you have to stop Harold Jenkins, a.k.a. Leonard Peabody, with his plan.

Even if it means killing him.

You flew away from the cabin and headed back to the Academy. You landed Academy's roof before phasing yourself inside. You landed safely in a room. It was quite messy and had a lot of posters plastered on the walls. You assumed it was Klaus but you exited the room quickly to find the others.

You heard voices in the distance. "Hello?"

"Wait, did someone hear that, or am I high again?" You heard someone whispered. It was Klaus.

You followed their voices and found yourself in a room where all the Hargreeves siblings, except for Vanya, are gathered around Allison who was laying down. Five was pressing cloth on Allison's throat causing your eyes to widen. "Oh, my God." You breathed out.

"Where have you been?" Diego questioned.

"I met my brother." You answered as you approached Allison and stood beside Five.

"Wait." Luther blinked in surprise. "Brother? What brother?"

You looked up at Luther. "Harold Jenkins is my brother. Well, was. He's a complete monster in my eyes."

"Well, your brother almost killed Allison," Luther stated angrily as he almost charged at you but Diego and Klaus quickly held him while Five put his arm out to protect you. "We found her bleeding on the floor inside his cabin."

"My brother's actions do not involve me, you dumb monkey." You argued. "If you act because you're emotional instead of thinking straight, you'll bring your family down with you. Is that what a leader does, hm?"

Luther huffed and the two men finally let him go. You sighed. "Look, I didn't know he would do this. I thought Allison already came in the cabin but I guess she came back."

"How was the meeting with your brother?" Five asked as he put his hand down again on the bloody cloth.

"We... had a conversation." You answered. "We also... had an argument and..."

Five waited for your answer while you remembered your fight with Harold. You looked up at Five who was already looking at you. Staring into his eyes, you remembered what your brother said.

"It all makes sense! You still have feelings for him!"

Your fists clenched as the realization hits you.

"Wait, you did catch him?"

"Yeah. But... I just stopped and even protected him for some reason..."

Diego and Klaus looked at you, also waiting for your answer.

"You know, I actually don't know why I didn't kill him right then and there."

Five narrowed his eyes and tilted his head. "And? (Y/n)?"

"He was right there at my grasp and I just... let him go twice. I even helped him and he... well, helped me."

You blinked your eyes and took a deep breath. "I... he... he stabbed me in the back. Literally."

You watched as Five's eyes widened in shock and worry. Klaus gasped loudly while Diego blinked in surprise. Five was about to say something until Pogo and Grace came in the room hurriedly.

Grace quickly examined Allison and Pogo glanced at you. "She suffered a severe laceration to her larynx," Grace announced. "One of you will need to give blood."

"I will." Five, Diego, and Klaus volunteered.

Luther started removing his gloves and moving his sleeve up. "I'm doing it."

"I'm afraid that's not possible, dear boy." Pogo interrupted Luther. "Your blood is more compatible with mine."

Luther shakily breathed while Klaus patted his arm. "Hey, don't sweat it. I... I got this, big guy." Klaus immediately moved to Grace's side and tapped his arm. "I love needles."

"Master Klaus," Pogo called out. "Your blood is... how shall I say this? Too polluted."

Klaus frowned and stepped away while you walked towards him and patted his back. "Hey, it's alright. At least you were willing to give your blood to your sister."

"Move," Diego told Luther as he moved to Grace. "I'll do it."

Once Grace pulled out the syringe and tapped it, Diego's eyes rolled back with a whimper, and fainted. Klaus tried to catch him but he already hit the ground. You clasped your hand on your mouth to avoid yourself from laughter. Pogo sighed. "Stick him."

When Grace crouched down and took Diego's blood, Five looked at Luther and signaled him to change places with him. Luther exchanged places with Five and Five quickly brought you out of the room.

"Hey!" You exclaimed. "Whaβ€”hey, Five!"

Five let go of your hand and faced you. "Harold Jenkins stabbed you?"

"Uh... yeah?"

"Do you need some stitches or bandages? Does it hurt? Please tell me he only stabbed you onceβ€”"

"Five, Five, Five." You interrupted him when you grabbed his shoulders. "I'm fine, okay? He actually stabbed me multiple times."

"Multiple?!" Five raised his voice causing you to drag him away further from the room where his other siblings are. "We gotta get Mom to check on you, (Y/n)."

"Okay, Five, I don't know why you're so worried about me but I am fine, okay?" You sighed. "The thing is, I'm supposed to be dead but... I'm somehow alive and my wounds are completely healed as if nothing happened."

"Is it because of your powers?" Five asked.

"Well, that's probably the only answer why I can heal pretty fast."

Five sighed in relief. "I'm... I'm just glad that you're safe and well."

"Why?"

"Huh?"

"Why are you glad? I literally tried to kill you twice and you hate me as much as I hate you."

Five arched an eyebrow and crossed his arms. "Since when did I tell you that I hate you?"

"You didn't. I just feel it."

"I just hated that you were in my way on stopping the upcoming doomsday. I actually admire your skills and achievements."

You were caught off guard and started stammering. It was an odd thing for you to do: stammering. You never really stammered or stuttered except when you're scared, confused, or when you talk to Michelle.

Michelle. Yeah, you stutter sometimes whenever you see her. Probably because you were head over heels for her before.

"Wh-Wha... I..." You gulped. "I-Is that all you admire about me?"

Five looked away and pressed his lips together. He was hesitating to say something. Five shook his head and grabbed your shoulder. "T-Take a break. You need rest."

"Whaβ€”" You shook your head. "No, I don't need rest. We still need to stop Leonard and the apocalypse. We have to find Vanyaβ€”"

"I will wake you up, (Y/n)." Five assured. "We're not leaving yet and if we do, I will wake you up, okay?"

You sighed and held his hand which was on your shoulder. "Okay."

You insisted on sleeping on the couch. Five was sitting beside you as you sleep, his fingers softly making circles in your back. The sun was starting to rise and he was glad you finally got some sleep and rest. Five stood up and paced around the room. His two brothers, Diego and Klaus, came to the living room. Klaus sat down beside you while Diego was just standing.

Luther was not around and Five assumed he's upstairs with Allison, looking after her.

"The bastard that nearly killed our sister's still out there, with Vanya," Diego told Five and Klaus. "We need to go after her."

"Vanya is not important."

"Hey, that's your sister. A little heartless even for you, Five."

"I'm not saying I don't care about her, but if the apocalypse happens today, she dies along with the other seven billion of us."

Diego stared down at Five as he thought about what he said. Five continued. "Harold Jenkins is our first priority."

Diego nodded. "I agree. Let's go."

Klaus sighed as he placed his hand on your shoulder. "You guys count me out."

The two men stopped walking as they faced Klaus. "I mean, you know, no offense or whatever. It's just... I kind of feel like this is a whole lot of pressure for newly-sober me, so..."

Five narrowed his eyes in disbelief while Diego rolled his eyes. "You're coming."

"No, no, no. I mean, I think we can all agree that my power's... I mean, it's pretty much useless. I'd just be holding you guys back. I'll just stay here with my little sis."

Five shook his head. "Klaus, get up."

"You can't make me."

Diego instantly threw his knife just between Klaus' legs when he opened them because he saw Diego ready to throw his knife. Klaus sighed while Five smacked Diego's arm. "You idiot! You could've hit (Y/n)!"

"But I didn't so you're welcome."

Five approached you while Klaus stood up. "Oh, then again, a little exercise couldn't hurt."

Five tapped your arm, shaking you lightly. "Hey, hey."

Klaus leaned into Diego's ear to whisper. "Is it just me or is our little Five going soft for (Y/n)?"

"Yeah, I've been noticing that too."

"Well, I remember when we were kids when he talked about some girl when we saved some people in the bank. I'm starting to think it's her."

You opened your eyes and quickly sat up when you saw Five. "What?"

"We're going to find Harold Jenkins. Do you still want to come?"

You nodded and stood up. "Yeah, yeah. I may stab him in return for stabbing me to death."
