𝐌: The pleasure is all mine! Thank you for inviting me over. We really wanted to make Wattpad active the way it was during lockdown. Having fun while learning something new was our goal, and since we shared common interests in the Potterverse, we thought to give it a go. At that time, there were very few Potter-based communities; the only ones that were there were mostly inactive. That served as a driving force for us to create what we now call Dumbledore's Army.

𝐈: Hello! We at the DA try and stay as active as possible. Incorporating Harry Potter elements into the community is one of the most fun parts of it. All of our members share a passion for the wizarding world, so it's very easy for everyone to input ideas as to how we can create fun projects that embrace the series. I would say that our community is different from others, as we are all united as one and believe that in order for the community to be a success, we must all collaborate. One of our main aims is to showcase the skills of our wonderfully talented members. We want our members individuality to shine through in the form of our projects! Our community helps bring together everyone with the common interest of the Harry Potter series, and we hope to have a positive impact on all our members and affiliates.

𝐌: I suppose it's the way a community works. Some members/affiliates don't respond right away, especially when we need them to. That overburdens us to the point where we just learn how to do their work as well. Then again, it's just how life works. Not everyone is available at all times. The plus point is that, I daresay, I'm an all-rounder, haha.

𝗔𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗽𝗮𝗱, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹. 𝐈: We have many goals for our community. When we first created it, we already knew we wanted it to be a fun space to connect! Our primary goal for the community is to show off everyone's unique skills while bonding over a series we all love. Some skills such as patience and learning how to do others work are pretty important in real life, I would say. Another example would be that I wouldn't consider myself a leader, but running this community alongside Miyoko has taught me the hardships and joys of being a leader of a community.

𝐌: Having friends is important, and it doesn't just extend to within the community. With alliances comes help. I'm sure that there will be a helping hand should we require assistance. What's more, we help each other. Announcing and promoting projects helps in the growth and expansion of a community, and needless to say, this can be done only with the help of affiliates. The answer is positive. Alliances are an integral part of the community and are family as well. ^w^

𝐈: We always hope to make our community fun and active for all our members and affiliates! We are constantly working on new projects for our community that gets our members involved. All our members have a chance to work on fun projects that we release. These include shops, magazines, and more. We also try and make sure that our members our active so that we are all able to participate. Affiliating with other communities is one of the ways we make our community active and are able to collaborate on exciting ventures.

𝐌: Thank you for the kind words! I think, before starting, it is good to have at least one other person who has your back. For me, it's Isa, and Kylie too (our graphic designer captain). They've always advised me and helped me out in tight situations. Of course, there can be a single leader, but you'll definitely get caught up with life at some point. Having a trustworthy partner really helps.

𝐈: I would advise anyone who has or is starting a community to have fun! Running a community is a lot of fun and can help you bond with your members. I would suggest never running a community on your own, always have someone (or a few other people) helping out with managing the community. I would also say to keep your members engaged by having exciting projects or anything else that gets your members involved. This is how you can get your community to stay active!
