Q- When we censor vulgar language, is that accepted? Ex- f*ck
A- Yes! It won't count down any points in grammar because it is a personal choice for reader's/judge's comfort.

Q- Is voting mandatory? Does voting conclude the final winners?
A- No, voting is not mandatory, but it would mean a lot. Voting and the final winners are not the same thing and do not affect each other.

Q- Can I follow by backup?
A- Yes! But you'll have to leave your backup in the comments exactly in the specific spot I mentioned earlier.

Q- Is it okay to update our books while judging period? What about changing covers?
A- That's fine of course to update your books. However, don't change the covers because the judge might be already judging your book and you will not get a proper score. Also, don't change the book title/your username without telling me. If you do it, it has to be before the judging period, not during!

Q- When will the judging period start?
A- When the categories are full. Once a category is full, the judging period will begin for that category even if the other ones aren't full.

Q- Are stories with topics like gore, murder, violence allowed?
A- Send them up, I'll allow it. However, don't glorify sensitive topics.

Q- What are active checks? Will my story be eliminated if I don't do it?
A- Active checks are simple statements or questions you'd have to answer when they're put up to make sure you're active during specific times. If you don't do it, I will politely tag you or write to you on your MB asking you to do it (three warnings). If you ignore my messages, your book will be eliminated. Let me know beforehand if you'll be too busy to do them and I will excuse it. [VVIPs are completely exempt from it!]

Q- Can I enter my book while it is under editing and make it quick so it's ready before it is judged?
A- Of course! Just make sure to not make edits when the judging period is on-going for your book's category. Before that, you're free to do any changes, but if they're major let me know.

Q- Will there be a review for the books?
A- The review is the feedback that the judge (aka me) is required to do for every book when judging. My reviews are usually 2-3 pages long but could be longer if there's a lot to say or shorter if there are less issues to bring up. Participants are required to pick up their reviews when eliminated.

Q- How will you judge the Most Liked book?
A- It doesn't require judging. It only requires votes by anyone other than the user who wrote the book. The book in the category with the most votes wins!

Q- What if a category only ends up having three participants? Will it be cancelled?
A- Not at all! This award does not have a specific set date to stop accepting entries! I tend to close entries when they're full and I wait until the very last spot is taken. I tend to promote the awards and if you help out doing so then it would mean a lot too in order to get participants to join! But no, it won't be cancelled. If the category doesn't fill up (and it's been months), then I will just judge the books in that category who have been waiting patiently for it. Most of the time, at least majority spots are filled so there will be enough room for competition still!

Q- What is an AI-written book?
A- A book solely written by AI. Not edited, but written fully by apps like ChatGPT. That's not allowed. That being said, if you use ChatGPT to explicitly edit your work and completely alter your sentence structure, then you won't be able to participate. Tools such as Grammarly are fine! Please check the earlier section in the chapter for more information!
