"Woah, Ronnie, look at this place." Ivy said in aw as she looked around at the building for sale.
"It's twice as big as the one in Las Vegas." Ronnie added in as she dusted off the stairs case.
"With double rooms, maybe not everyone will have to bunk." Ivy said as she put her hand on the staircase, gorgeous green vines traveling up the staircase and decorating it perfectly. Ronnie giggled at the beauty as Ivy smiled at her, forming a flower in her hand to put behind her ear.
Ronnie flushed while looking at the smaller girl, Ivys green eyes shining gorgeously against the bright plants. Ivy stared at her back, something she did often but rarely like this.
'Woman do not love other woman, number eight.'
"Ugh, so do you think we have saved up enough for this place?" Ivy asked as she looked away with a clear of her throat, her fathers voice in her head.
"Between the jars we have saved and the donations from your odd and cult leading brother... yeah, we have enough." Ronnie said with a laugh a Ivy grinned widely, doing a small circle as Ronnie suddenly felt a drop of cold on her nose. Looking up small snow flakes fell from the ceiling as Ivy spun slowly.
"Ivy... what are you doing?" Ronnie asked, not use to this, only use to the random flowers forming around them and the usual leafs and vines.
"I have no clue." Ivy laughed as she stopped spinning, the snow dropping in her hair as Ronnie looking upwards.
"Have we made a decision?" the relator as he walked into the room, the snow suddenly stopping as the two shared a grin before nodding their heads.
"You know, never did I think spending money would be so nice." Ronnie said as she licked her fingers, the milkshake her and Ivy were sharing in between the two at the small diner near the building.
"Right? It's like... money is so important, but it's important to spend on this stuff." Ivy said as she dipped her fry into the milkshake as her eyes widened in sugar rush.
"Seriously! Like what do we buy next?" Ronnie said as she threw her head back after taking a large sip of the milkshake.
"Fabrics and glitter!" Ivy said to loudly as she pumped her first into the air.
"Fabrics and glitter!" Ronnie repeated as she mimicked the Hargreeves girls motion before her. The odd looks they were getting from people around them made the two drop their hands and giggle slightly. The loud police sirens zooming past the diner made the two look out confused.
"What do you think happened?" Ronnie asked as Ivy shrugged while taking a sip of the drink before pausing.
"Wait... ex-excuse me, which way is Lonos Diner?" Ivy asked the couple next to her, leaning over the seat to much.
"Personal space please, and just a few streets away." The man said as Ivy and Ronnie shared a look before throwing money on the table and taking off out of the diner.
"Allison! Allison!" Ivy yelled in a panic as she took off, the sight of her sister being yanked out of the diner forcefully by white police shaking her. Allison was thrown into Ivy as the two stumbled.
"Let me help, tell me what I can do." Ivy said quickly, looking around for Ronnie after loosing sight of her.
"I-I dont-" Allison began before her eyes widened as she looked behind Ivy, "Ray! Ray!"
Allison took off in the direction a dark man was being beaten by two police, Ivy going to follow her until she heard Ronnie yell out for her. Looking around Ivy felt her heart race a million miles a minute, her breathing picking up.
She couldn't see Ronnie, only being about to hear her, many black people being beat on the ground and forcefully shoved out of the diner, smoke everywhere. She paused, trying to navigate Ronnies voice before she lost it completely. Ivy went to push through people as she saw a cop shoving a woman into the ground, giving her a hard kick.
"Hey! Get the hell off of her!" Ivy yelled a she shoved the man.
"Get out of here girl." he demanded, pushing Ivy away as he kicked at the woman again.
"I'm not a girl, i'm a fucking woman." Ivy corrected him with a shove as she was pushed harshly away, hitting her head on the side of the car. She held her head in pain as her vision blurrier, seeing the woman being hit again as the officer hit a man who came to help. She could see Allison struggling to get the police away feom Ray.
"Allison!" Ivy yelled without thinking as Allison looking into her direction, making eye contact with Ivy immediately, seeing her blonde sisters emotional state... and then it clicked to her.
"Ivy, don't!" Allison yelled in a panic but Ivy didn't hear her, everything being drowned out as she looked at the police officer.
"I heard a rumor... you shot yourself in the face." she spoke, power mimicking for the first time in years. The police officer stopped fighting the woman, her curled up at their feet as he pulled the gun from his waist and shot himself in the face. Yells and cries erupted through the crowd as Ivy was splattered with blood, shaking slightly at the panic.
"Ma'am, let me help you." Ivy said as she came back to reality, helping the older and dark woman to her feet as the man grasped her, giving Ivy a thank you as the two injuries couple walked off.
"Ivy! Ivy! Are you okay?" Ronnie asked in a panic as she ran over quickly with watery eyes, a gash right across her face.
"Ronnie, your face." Ivy gasped as she grabbed her cheeks quickly.
"We need to leave." Ronnie said quickly as she pulled Ivys smaller body toward Allison who was yelling for Ray to come over. The two coughed from the smoke, struggling to get over.
"Ivy, Ronnie, come on." Klaus said as he appeared, pulling Ivy into his other side as Ronnie held her hand tightly, scared they'd be separated once again.
"Come on right now." Klaus said, pulling them away as Allison yelled for her husband who fleed away from her quickly.
"You look like a vampire or something right now." Ronnie joked as she looked at Ivys blood shot eyes from the gas and smoke.
"Well you look like Frankenstein." Ivy said back as she put the final bandage on Ronnies gorgeous skin, coving the open gash.
"Here, give me your hands now." Ivy said as Ronnie held her hands with no hesitation, watching Ivy shut her eyes. The pink haired girl went to open her mouth before it closed quickly, seeing the small glow travel down Ivys arm and into Ronnies skin, up her arm and to her gash. And with that... her pain was gone.
"You do that often?" Ronnie asked her with a joking look as Ivy chuckled.
"When I was younger... I did a lot, you'd be surprised how many injuries happened at the academy." Ivy joked while Ronnie saw straight through her, seeing the pain of her childhood.
"What time was the worst?" Ronnie asked her as Ivy now had a genuine laugh.
"We had a lot of bad times but one time Diego and I snuck into the attic in the middle of the night, practicing his knife throwing so he can prove he's better then Luther." Ivy began as she paused to laugh some before she shook her head, "I threw a knife at him thinking he'd control it and I sliced his cheek right open, still has a scar from it."
"Woah, so knife throwing isn't in your favor." Ronnie said with a laugh as Ivy joined in with a shake of her head.
"Definitely not... Diego was really the only one that was ever good with them." Ivy said with a small shrug, the slightest look of sadness in her eyes as she looked at her hands.
"You never really told me why you guys were are as close are you were... wanna talk about it?" Ronnie asked, hearing Diego's name is nearly every single one of Ivys stories.
"Um, when I was younger our dad use to shame me for something and Diego was the only one that really knew about this part of me that dad hated so much... he always accept me, protect me." Ivy said with a shrug and a small frown as she avoided eye contact, "I know everyone else would too I just never mention it."
"What could he possible shame you for? You're like, perfect." Ronnie said with a grin as Ivy flushed and shook her head.
"I'm not as great as you think I am, Ronnie, you shouldn't think that." Ivy said with a shake of her head, her eyes soft as she looked at Ronnies blue eyes before her.
"To late, I already think it." the tall girl said with a grin as she fell back on the bed, holding her arms out as Ivy cuddled up next to her... her fathers voice echoing in her head once again.
