"Don't even look at him"

As the rain poured down, the seven remaining siblings stood outside near the oak tree Luther had talked about in the pouring down, freezing rain. Ivy stood next to Diego and Allison as she stared over at Ben's statue with a sad look in her eye. Once her lip began to tremble, Grace had put a hand on her face, making Ivy give her a small smile.

"Did something happen?" she asked with a smile as she looked around. Ivy looked at Diego as the two shared a concerned look.

"Dad died. Remember?" Allison asked her as Grace's smile faded.

"Yes, of course." she said as, before looking down.

"Is Mom okay?" Alison said as she looked at the two. Ivy nodded as Diego spoke up after.

"Yeah yeah she's fine. She just needs to rest. You know, recharge." Diego informed her with a single nod.

All the siblings stood there awkwardly for a moment. Ivy took a double glance at Diego next to her and realized he hadn't brought a umbrella with him like the other. She moved closer to him so that her's towered over the both of them before giving him a small smile before they both looked back at Luther.

"Whenever your ready, dear boy." Pogo said to Luther, who nodded and took a deep breath. Once he poured the ashes, they all just went down into a pile, making Luther stand there awkwardly.

"Would have been a little better with some wind." he said with a cough to clear the air.

"Does anyone wish to speak?" Pogo asked as he looked around. They all looked away, aside from Ivy, who was once again staring at Ben's statue.

"Very well. In all regards, Sir Reginald Hargreeves made me what I am today. For that alone, I shall forever be in his dept. He was my master, and my friend. And I shall miss him very much. He leaves behind a complicated legacy-" Pogo spoke but Diego cut him off.

"He was a monster." The tan boy cut in, make Klaus laugh and the others to look at him.

"He was a bad person and a worst father. The worlds better off without him." Diego continues as he stared off.

"Diego." Allison snapped at him, only making it worse.

"My name is number two. You know why? Because our father couldn't bother to give us real names... he had mom do it." He spoke as he stepped out from under Ivy's umbrella and glanced at Grace, who just smiling.

"Would anyone like something to eat?" she spoke up as she glanced around.

"No Mom, it's okay." Vanya said from the other side of her as Grace frowned with a "oh ok".

"Look, you wanna pay your respects, go ahead. But at least be honest about the man he was." Diego finished with a knowing look.

"You should stop talking now." Luther glared over at him, attempting to keep his voice down.

"You know, you of all people here should be on my side here, number one." Diego snarred back at him, taunting like.

"I am warning you." Luther glared once again.

"After everything he did to you. He had to ship you a million miles away-" Diego kept going on.

"Diego stop." Luther's voice was deeper this time, louder.

"That's how much he couldn't stand the sight of you!" Diego yelled as he tapped his finger on Luther's chest. Luther then swung at him, making Diego kneel down backwards before swinging a punch himself. The group backed up, knowing exactly how this went as it did when they were younger.

"Boys! Stop this at once!" Pogo tried to interfere but didn't get anywhere. Klaus held out a hand infront of Five but the fifty eight year old pushed it away. Ivy looked over at her sister on her right of her.

"Id put my money on Diego." She grinned as Allison gave her a look while the two men continued to throw punches.

"Come on big boy!" Diego yelled out as Luther threw his large fist forward again, Diego got behind him and started pounding on his back, trying to get him down, but Luther wasn't budging.

"Stop it!" Vanya tried.

"Hit him! Hit him!" Klaus yelled with a cigarette in his mouth.

"Watch your feet Diego!" Ivy yelled out. Luther elbowed the man, giving Diego leadway as he slammed his fist into his cheek. Pogo shook his head and walked off just as Luther grabbed Diego and swung him away. Ivy now noticed they were dangerously close to Ben's statue and was about to interfere when Grace grabbed her arm to hold her back with a warm smile, one Ivy just couldn't say no to. Diego was back on his feet as Luther swung a punch while Diego went toward his stomach.

"Get off of me!" The knife thrower yelled as Luther had him in a choke hold. Diego finally got out of Luthers grasp and threw a punch, making Luther stumble backwards.

"We don't have time for this." Five said as he walked back inside. Diego yelled out once again as Luther came at him full force with a punch. but Diego moved out of the way quickly, making Luthers punch go to the middle of Ben's statue, making it fall over and shatter. Ivy dropped her umbrella as her mouth fell open.

"There goes Ben's statue." Allison said as she looked over at her sister, who stared in shock.

"Ivy." Diego tried, but it was too late. Two large vines from the oak tree sprung out and wrapped themself around both of the mens necks, cutting off their oxygen and holding them in the air.

"Ivy!" Vanya yelled out as she stumbled forward but Allison grabbed her arm before she could.

"That's not a smart idea Vanya." Klaus yelled out as he laughed. The two boys in the air struggled and were gasping for the air.

"How could you do that!" she yelled loudly before she dropped the two on the ground as the plants retreated. She was red in anger, by now as she gave them one last hurt look and then ran back inside, "Selfish assholes."

seventeen years ago
The Hargreeves siblings stood at the bottom of the stairs in their green track uniforms as Vanya stood at the top with their father before he gave her a look, signaling her to blow the whistle, which lead all the siblings to run up the stairs. Luther was in the front but then Diego got infront of him in no time. Five time jumped and was now in the lead.

"That's not fair! Five cheated!" Diego yelled with a whine in his tone.

"He adapted." Reginald corrected him from down below.

"We can use our powers?" Ivy yelled out with a grin.

"Of course, number eight." her father said, which made Ivy stop as she summoned the plants from the corner to wrap around her and brought her to the top of the stairs where Vanya blew the whistle.

"Did i win?" Ivy asked now, turning to face her father, who nodded as Ivy cheered loudly. All her siblings then got up the stairs.

"Iv! I was winning" Five whined as Diego trailed behind him.

"Sorry Five. I adapted, remember?" Ivy laughed as Diego rolled his eyes.

"No, you cheated." he glared at her.

"Aw don't be mad, you'll get it soon." Ivy giggled as she jumped onto Diego and began rubbing her knuckles on his head as he groaned and attempted to shove her off.

"That was awesome, Ives." Klaus said as he appear next to the duo.

"I knew you'd win." Ben added in as he stood next to Klaus.

"Awww, see Diego, they're happy for me." Ivy said as she gave the a two dramatic hug.

"All of you go get changed. There will be a Surprise down stairs soon." Reginald said as he turned to leave.

"Think it's better clothes?" Klaus asked as he yanked at the uniform.

"May-" she began but Luther cut her off.

"It's not new clothes Klaus, don't be stupid. That would only distract us." Luther glared, making Klaus look away.

"He's not stupid! Leave him alone Luther!" Ivy yelled as she walked toward the taller blonde.

"Well you shouldn't be the one getting his hopes up." Luther said down to her with a scowl.

"This isn't about me, you're just being a complete jerk." Ivy argued as the two bickered loudly.

"Shut up Ivy!" Luther yelled, making Diego step in with a glare.

"Don't talk to my sister that way!" he shouted as he stood next to her, "Only I can!"

"This dosent even involve you Diego." Allison argued with him.

"Yes it does." he glared at her.

"This is about Klaus and Ivy, not you." Luther said to the tan boy frowned his eyebrows. Luther was pointing over at Klaus now.

"Don't even look at him!" Ivy said annoyed his way.

"Shut up Ivy!" Luther yelled again.

"Stop talking to her like that!" Diego snapped at him again as he shoved Luther backwards.

"Children!" Reginald yelled but they all ignored him. Ben stood by Ivy's side as the two boys began wrestling each other on the ground. Klaus wrapped his arm around her as she did the same.

"Guys, this isn't the time. You'll get in trouble." Allison tried again but the boys fell to the floor. Five rolled his eyes as Vanya looked around.

"Children!" Regional yelled again as he walked toward them. The door bell rang, making them all look over toward their father now.

"Our guest is here." he said before walking away. The trio ran toward the staircase to look down as the fighting duo and two other siblings, along with Five trailed behind them.

"Those aren't new clothes." Ben was the first to say as they looked down at the tattoo artist stetting up his station. Ivy hid her face this time.

Now down stairs, Klaus had his arms wrapped around Allison as she cried due to the pain. They had all just gotten tatoos on their wrist and Diego was getting worked on now. He cringed in his seat as Grace tried to comfort him but he slapped her away. Number eight then walked forward as she glared at her father.

Diego's eyes where closed before he felt a hand grab his forearm. His dark eyes looked over at Ivys bright green ones as she grabbed his hand and squeezed. A small light traveling through her veins and into Diego's as he stopped moved, his face went back to normal.

"Does it still hurt?" she asked him as she stared at him with hopefully eyes. Diego shock his head as he continued to stare at her in shock, considering no one was aware she could do this. Reginald took out his note book and wrote this down as Ivy reached her other hand out and squeezed Allison's as the light appeared again, shed healed the pain away .

Five was rummaging through the kitchen as Ivy walked down the stairs and sat at the table

"Hey Twin Brother." she said as she stared at him.

"Hey Twin Sister." he said back as he gave her a half smile and looked around again. Klaus then joined Ivy next to her at the table as Allison came down.

"Where's Vanya?" she asked worried.

"Oh, she's gone." Klaus said as he leaned back in the chair.

"She gave me her address, I can give it to you if you want." Ivy offered before Five cut in.

"That's unfortunate." he said while walking toward the three.

"Yeah." Allison said as she thought he was talking about their sister.

"An entire square block, forty two bedrooms, nineteen bathrooms, but not a single drop of coffee." Five glared at no one in particular while rummaging again.

"Dad hated caffeine." Allison said, remembering how much Reginald use to never allow it in the house.

"He hated children too but he had plenty of us." Klaus laugh, making Ivy laugh as the two shared a look.

"I'm taking the car." Five mumbled as he walked off. Ivy flew out of her chair so fast she almost fell over.

"Wait!" she yelled, making him turn around as Allison gave her a worried look considering she almost just fell.

"Are you coming back?" Ivy asked as she took a step forward. Five stared at her.

"I'll come back, swear." he said as he hesitantly walked forward and hugged her for a few moments, awkwardly but enough. Allison grinned at the two as Klaus was in his own world, not even noticing.

"Where are you going?" he asked now, snapping back to reality, seeing the twins pull back.

"To get a descent cup of coffee." Five said annoyed.

"Do you even know how to drive?" Allison asked confused his way.

"I know how to do everything." Five said to her before he space jumped. Ivy sighed as she sat back down.

"I feel like we should try and stop him, but then again I also just kinda wanna see what happens." Klaus said with a grin as he looked over at Ivy then toward Allison again. Diego then walked into the kitchen.

"Alright, I guess i'll see you guys in what? ten years? When Pogo dies?" Diego said, making Ivy roll her eyes.

"Not if you die first." Allison snapped back.

"Yeah, love you too sis. Good luck on your next film by the way, hope it turned out better then your marriage." He said to her as his eyes snapped toward Ivy.

"Ivy, wanna take a drive? Take you to the airport?" he asked her with a knowing look.

"Why would I go anywhere with you?" she snapped back with a glare.

"Because we probably should talk." he said back to her as his eyes scanned hers.

"I'll meet you in the car." she said before walking off.

"Are we leaving?" Klaus asked as he peaked up and walked after Diego.

"No i'm leaving, just me and Ivy. I'll bring her back in a hour or two if she doesn't get on the plane." Diego said as he walked a bit faster.

"Oh, fabulous i'll get my things." Klaus hurried up the stairs. As Diego got in his car a few minutes later, Klaus jumped in next to him as Diego sighed. Ivy then pulled her self into the passengers seat with a sigh as she looked over at the two men oddly as Klaus continued talking.

"You know, ever time I close my eyes I see a dharma hippo about to shit on my face. It's terrifying!" Klaus told the two as he leaned over the seat. Diego continued to face forward as Ivy gave him a grin and disappointed look at the same time.

"Terrific." Diego sighed as he started the car while Klaus shook his head to get rid of the thought.

"Lean back." Diego told him while nodding for Ivy to put her seatbelt on.
