๐Ÿ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž. they said the end is coming

Kiara was on her knees, frantically searching under her bed while cursing in ancient Greek.

Luke, who was sitting nearby, watched her with a mix of amusement and curiosity.

"What are you looking for?" asked the demigod.

"My necklace," Kiara replied, continuing her search.

"And why don't you just get another one?" suggested Luke.

"Although I hate to agree with Luke, he is right," said Travis, looking at Apollo's daughter. "Why don't you get another one?"

"It was a gift," Kiara replied curtly.

The son of Hermes nodded in understanding but still thought to himself that it would be easier to just get another one and be done with it.

Kiara got up, giving him a dirty look, and sat on her bed with a tired expression.

"It was a gift from Percy," Kiara murmured.

"You lost it?!" Percy shouted, looking at Kiara with betrayal.

Henrik looked at his sister's neck, and not seeing the necklace, shook his head while directing his gaze towards a betrayed Percy.

"Of course not," Kiara said angrily.

"And where is it?" Percy asked in the same tone.

Everyone watched the interaction between the two demigods with interest or boredom.

"In case you didn't notice, Jackson, I'm not wearing any jewelry," Kiara replied with an irritated tone. "So leave your drama behind, it probably got left in the future."

Percy frowned, but before he could reply, the screen lit up again.

Luke looked at her with curiosity.

"And what is the necklace like?" Luke asked while making a strange move with his hand.

"You stole it," accused Percy, looking at Luke.

The son of Hermes gasped in indignation.

"Just because I am the son of the god of thieves doesn't mean I'm going to steal everything I see, Percy," Luke said, giving him a dirty look.

Hermes looked at him doubtfully, just like Travis and Connor, as they stole everything they saw.

"The pendant was in the shape of a star," Kiara replied.

Luke nodded as he put his hand in his pocket. When he took it out, a shining star-shaped necklace hung from his hand.

"Like this?" asked the demigod with a smile.

"But you didn't steal it," Henrik said in a mocking tone.

"I found it, which is different," murmured Luke, irritated.

Kiara lifted her gaze and fixed her eyes on the necklace. Her eyes lit up and, nodding, she got up from the bed and walked over to Luke.

"Where did you find it?" she asked.

"During one of my morning runs, I found it on the beach," Luke replied.

Thalia laughed.

"Is the necklace enchanted or what?" Thalรญa asked her cousin.

Percy shook his head.

"I don't think it is," Percy replied. "I gave it to her years ago, when I still didn't know about our world."

"Ironic, don't you think? A necklace that you gave as a gift appears in the sea."

"Mmm, how strange," said Kiara, accepting Luke's hand and holding the necklace between their fingers. "Whenever I go to the beach, I take it off fearing I'll lose it."

"Here we go," Kiara whispered, heard only by the vampires in the room.

Luke nodded and pulled his hand away from Kiara. In doing so, Kiara wobbled, and Luke looked at her in surprise. Kiara started to tremble and the lights began to flicker.

"Babe? Are you alright?" Luke asked with concern.

Everyone watched the pair with curiosity, while Kiara and Luke were just dodging the gazes of Apollo and Klaus.

But Kiara didn't answer him. Instead, her eyes turned white, and her voice resonated with a deep and ominous echo.

"You shall go west..." Kiara started, making a sudden movement with her head. Her eyes changed from white to green, "...and face the god who has turned..."

There was silence for a few moments, and then chaos broke loose. Apollo, Klaus, and the Greek demigods began bombarding Luke and Kiara with questions, to which they refused to respond.

"That's enough," Hecate exclaimed, but her voice was ignored and went unheard.

The goddess sighed and turned to Zeus, who looked at her without understanding her pleading gaze.

Hera, upon seeing this, rolled her eyes and stood up.

"Enough!" shouted Hera above the cries of the demigods, who quickly turned towards the goddess.

Hecate smiled gratefully at the queen of the gods, then her expression turned serious as she addressed the demigods.

"This is the first and last time I will allow such insolence," warned the goddess, addressing both the demigods and the gods. "I have repeated countless times that your questions will be answered as we look to the future. And yes, you can express your opinions and even ask questions, but this," she pointed out, looking at them with disdain, "is not the right way. Overwhelming Luke and Kiara with questions won't give you the answers you're looking for."

"Fine. We're really sorry," said Percy, looking at Luke and Kiara. "But could you please explain something to us about what we just saw?"

Kiara and Luke exchanged glances, communicating silently.

"It's simple to understand, Jackson. I'm the only known child of Apollo who received the gift of prophecy," Kiara replied. "In one way or another, I am connected to the oracle, and she wanted to warn me about what was to come."

Percy nodded, accepting the words of his best friend.

"That still doesn't explain why you two didn't tell us anything about it," Klaus complained, looking at both demigods with reproach.

Luke looked at him, embarrassed, refusing to answer.

Kiara sighed. "We just didn't want to worry you, Dad."

Klaus nodded, accepting his daughter's "apologies," but Apollo looked at his daughter with warning, making it clear that it wasn't over yet.

The lights flickered violently as Kiara trembled. Luke, noticing his girlfriend's appearance and those bright eyes, looked at her in terror, stepping back and almost tripping over the vanity.

"You shall find what was stolen, and see it safely returned..." she continued, her eyes shining brightly.

Kiara took Luke's hand off-screen, squeezing it tightly in a gesture of comfort.

"I'm sorry," whispered Apollo's daughter, looking sadly at her boyfriend.

Luke shook his head, kissed her on the forehead, but didn't say a word.

Suddenly, Kiara moved at an incredible speed and appeared in front of Luke, gripping his wrists tightly, digging her nails into his skin and making him bleed.

Luke's vision distorted, and instead of seeing Kiara in front of him, he saw a woman with blonde hair and the same glowing green eyes.

Hermes let out a painful sound, alerting Dionysus and Artemis, who were closer to him. The god refused to even look at Luke, as guilt began to consume him.

Thalia and Annabeth discreetly looked at Luke, who had a tense jaw, but his face remained expressionless.

Annabeth thought for herself that if it weren't for how Luke was gripping Kiara's hand, she might have believed the demigod was a statue.

"You shall be betrayed by one who calls you friend..." she said in a chilling voice. Luke tried to free himself, but Kiara's grip was relentless.

Luke refused to see any of his old friends, focusing solely on the caresses that Kiara left on his hand.

"That prophecy was yours, wasn't it?" Poseidon asked his son.

He nodded, looking at his father with uncertainty.

"So, you are the one who was betrayed," Aphrodite stated, looking at her stepson with compassion.

Percy nodded again as he ran his fingers over the palm of his hand.

"And you shall fail..." whispered Kiara, her eyes turning white once again, "to save what matters most, in the end."

"But I did it," Percy said, teasing Kiara to lighten the mood.

Hades rolled his eyes, while Apollo's daughter smiled at her friend.

"We never doubted you, little fish."

Clarisse cleared her throat, looking mockingly at both friends.

"Actually, we all doubted..." Ares' daughter let out a groan of pain and clutched her stomach after Silena hit her to make her quiet.

The demigods laughed at the misfortune of Ares' daughter.

"To be a daughter of Aphrodite, you sure know how to hit," Kiara said, joking.

Silena gave her the middle finger with a smile.

The lights stopped flickering, and Luke, noticing it, fixed his gaze on Kiara. Her bright blue eyes were slowly beginning to close. The demigod managed to catch her just before she fell to the ground.

Kiara opened her eyes and looked at Luke with unease.

"Was that... a new prophecy?" Luke asked with a trembling voice.

Kiara turned her gaze away from him, closed her eyes again with exhaustion, and nodded slowly.

"Since when does a simple prophecy leave you that weak?" Lizzie mocked Kiara, with a mischievous smile.

The demigods of Camp Half-Blood rolled their eyes, already used to the fights between the two.

"You would be the same or worse if you were in my place," Kiara murmured, glaring at her half-sister.

Apollo looked on in surprise at the little argument forming between his daughters. He turned to his other children in search of answers, but they all avoided his gaze.

"Surely I would do better, right, Ali?" said the blonde demigod, looking at her twin.

"Of course, Lizzie," Alison replied with a smile.

Kiara just rolled her eyes, determined to ignore them.

"And you would think that being a Mikaelson would make her powerful, but a simple prophecy brings her down..."

Kiara wasn't going to let that slide.

She stood up, ready to remind Lizzie that being a Mikaelson was not just a damn surname and that she was just as crazy, if not crazier, than her entire family combined, but Luke sat her back down, shaking his head.

"Just ignore her, Kie," whispered Luke, following his own advice and disregarding the indignant huff of the social experiment known as Lizzie Forbes.

Luke lifted her in his arms and carried her to the bed. Upon arrival, he gently placed her down and tenderly stroked her head.

"I'll bring you ambrosia," he whispered before stepping out the door.

"Can we eat ambrosia?" Kol asked, looking at his siblings with a mischievous smile.

The gods and demigods looked at him as if he were insane.

"Mortal beings can't eat it; it would kill them in seconds," said Annabeth, giving Kiara's uncle a strange look.

Kol turned around indignantly.

"And who told you that I am a stupid mortal?" the original asked with irritation.

Kiara and Klaus looked at each other, alarmed.

"And what are you?" said Athena, scanning the man with her gaze.

Kol turned to look at the goddess with a smug smile.

"I am a..."

The sound of a bone breaking echoed throughout the room, and everyone turned alarmed to see the man on the floor.

"Hope!" Klaus scolded his daughter, who still had her hand raised.

"Oops," Kiara said innocently, lowering her hand and shrugging her shoulders.

Her friends looked at her in shock.

"You killed your uncle!" Kayla shouted, looking at her older sister in fear.

Kiara sighed dramatically.

"Unfortunately, no one can die here, and besides, my stupid uncle was about to reveal a spoiler," said the demigoddess, without even casting a glance at her uncle lying on the ground.

Damon smirked mockingly at seeing the most foolish original being taken down by his own niece.

He was never going to forget this moment.

Davina shook her head, approached her husband, and dragged him by the feet until she placed him in front of the sofa where the original family was seated.

"Can we continue now?" the witch asked, tired of the family drama she had found herself caught up in once again.

Hecate nodded with a playful smile.

Kiara closed her eyes while waiting for Luke, and suddenly she had a vision. In her mind, she saw a man holding a baby in his arms.

"That's me and... dad?" Percy said, looking at the god in astonishment.

Poseidon shifted uncomfortably upon feeling the not-so-pleasant gazes he was receiving from his fellow gods.

"You have broken our rules," Zeus said, looking at his brother with hatred as a smell of ozone spread through the room.

"Get over it, Zeus," Poseidon replied, not really caring what his brother thought.

A woman, who looked too much like the mother of his best friend, lay on a stretcher, looking at them with a tired, sweet smile.

Poseidon glanced at his wife discreetly, hoping she would insult him, but the goddess had an indifferent look towards what she saw.

"Is that your mom?" Piper asked.

Percy nodded with a big smile.

"She is the best."

"She is," said Kiara and Thalia with a smile at the same time; upon realizing this, they both rolled their eyes.

Luke smiled softly.

"Welcome to the world, Perseus," the man said with a deep, resonant voice.

"You were so ugly," Clarisse said, mocking Percy.

All the demigods who knew Percy laughed, mocking him as well, while he chose to ignore them, still surprised to learn that his father had indeed visited him.

Kiara woke up with a gasp, and Luke quickly approached her, offering her ambrosia with concern in his eyes.

Apollo and Klaus looked at Luke with gratitude, who didn't notice them, more interested in hugging Kiara.

The daughter of Apollo was sitting on the beach, watching as the sun slowly disappeared on the horizon, making way for the moon that began to illuminate the night sky.

She turned towards the campfire beside her, where the flames danced and made her blue eyes shine brightly.

"You made a campfire and didn't tell me?" whispered Hermes' son to Kiara, pretending to be offended.

"You were asleep," the demigoddess replied without turning to look at him, still wrapped in his embrace.

She approached the flame and took out a small bag of blue cookies.

"I must speak with you, Lord Poseidon," Kiara summoned the god in Ancient Greek.

Everyone was able to understand because the screen had subtitles.

"Why the blue cookies?" Jason asked, looking at Kiara.

"Someone told me they were his favorites," Kiara replied with a mocking tone.

The cheeks of the sea god turned golden after hearing the daughter of Apollo. The gods quickly turned towards Kiara and Poseidon, looking at them with curiosity and a hint of doubt.

"And why did you need to talk to him?" Apollo asked in an angry tone.

"Shh, be patient," Kiara replied to him.

With a delicate gesture, she took a cookie and threw it into the fire. The smoke that emerged turned a deep blue, rising toward the sky until it dispersed.

The sun god gasped with indignation and was about to scold his daughter for making offerings to another god instead of him, when Klaus stopped him, shaking his head.

"My nephew won't be happy that you're making offerings to me," said the god of the sea, appearing behind Kiara. "Although I would never say no to those cookies."

Apollo nodded.

"And that deserves a punishment," said the god, looking at his daughter seriously.

Kiara just rolled her eyes, ignoring her father.

"I won't say anything if you don't," Kiara said with a half-smile.

Poseidon nodded and looked at her intently.

"What do you need?"

"Who wouldn't want to be Kiara with the gods at her disposal?" Lee whispered to his brother, Michael, who simply smiled.

Kiara said nothing and returned to the spot where she had been before making the offering, sitting down in the sand with a distant gaze. Poseidon, upon seeing this, sighed and followed the demigod, sitting down beside her.

"I know you broke the oath," Kiara said in a barely audible whisper, but loud enough for Poseidon to hear her.

Everyone was looking between the god and the demigoddess, finally grasping the purpose of the meeting on the screen.

Zeus and Hades smiled smugly, pleased that Kiara was about to put their brother in his place, not remembering that the demigoddess had never revealed to the council that she knew Poseidon had broken the oath.

Poseidon did not respond immediately, and Kiara slowly turned, fixing her gaze on him.

The god of the sea exhaled deeply.

"I don't know what you're..."

"You really are cynical," reproached Amphitrite, glaring at her husband.

The sons of Zeus chuckled softly at the sour face of the god of the sea, but they fell silent when he shot them a withering glance.

Kiara interrupted him, her voice sharp as a knife.

"I know about Percy."

"I almost drowned you at that moment," said Poseidon, looking at Apollo's daughter with feigned sorrow.

Kiara simply smiled, while the eyes of Apollo and Klaus turned golden upon hearing the words of the god.

"And I would have understood," said the demigoddess without taking offense.

The posture of the sea god changed suddenly. Calm turned into threat. The waves began to crash violently against the rocks, reflecting his fury.

Apollo stiffened as he watched the scene before him with concern. His gaze turned to Kiara, who seemed unconcerned about what was happening, which only worried him more, as he knew his daughter loved to seek out trouble.

Kiara smiled with self-satisfaction, not caring about the god's tantrum.

"Calm down," she said, her voice serene amidst the noise.

The demigods turned to look at Kiara with their jaws on the floor, not blinking.

"I thought Percy was the stupid one, but you take the cake," Annabeth said, looking at Kiara strangely.

Percy nodded and looked at Kiara in the same way. However, realizing what Annabeth had called him, he looked at her, offended.

Kiara simply shrugged, not caring about what was happening around her.

But Poseidon only grew angrier, his eyes shining with a dangerous intensity.

"What is it that you want, daughter of Apollon?" roared Poseidon, his voice rumbling like thunder.

"To be a unicorn," Kiara replied to the god on the screen.

Her family, who heard her, laughed softly, drawing the attention of some gods, who looked at them with curiosity.

Kiara maintained her serene smile.

"We both want the same thing, Poseidon," said the demigoddess, looking at the god with a serene smile. "Protect him."

"Huh? Why me?" Percy asked, confused.

Kiara and Poseidon exchanged glances and then turned simultaneously towards the demigod, nodding their heads.

"Half of the gods in this room want to have your head as a trophy, Perce," Kiara said.

Percy turned to look at the gods, and most of them had fake smiles as they watched him. The son of Poseidon quickly averted his gaze, lowering it to his lap and shifting uncomfortably.

The waves began to calm, and the fury in Poseidon's eyes slowly faded, replaced by a look of confusion.

"How do you know my son?" she asked, her voice now calmer but full of curiosity.

"A very funny story," said Percy with a smile, looking at the Mikaelson twins, who returned the same mischievous grin.

"It's a very long story and I don't have time to tell you," Kiara replied, earning a disapproving look from the god. "He started out as my brother's friend, then I was included, and to this day we are still friends."

"Did you call me just to tell me this?" the god asked.

"How impatient," Aphrodite complained as she fixed her makeup.

"Just like his son," Kiara said, smiling.

The demigoddess shook her head. "There's a new prophecy," Kiara said. "And... I have this strange feeling that it's Percy's."

"Well, that feeling wasn't lying to you," Percy said, with a look of exhaustion.

Poseidon, upon hearing his son, cast a fiery glance at his two brothers, who averted their eyes.

While some demigods looked at Luke with disdain, trying not to attract the attention of the gods, Luke noticed and smiled innocently as he lowered his gaze to his lap.

Poseidon raised his eyebrows upon hearing her, then became alert. "What is it about?" he asked.

"He will be sent to retrieve grandpa's little toy," Kiara said, as her gaze drifted back to the sea.

"Toy?" Zeus shouted, glaring at his granddaughter.

"Yes, you looked like a baby crying for its bottle when it disappeared," Kiara mocked, sticking out her tongue when the god growled at her.

"Kiara..." the god said, his voice sounding like a plea when she said nothing more.

She suddenly stood up and looked at the god without blinking. Poseidon shifted uncomfortably under the cold, dark gaze of Apollo's daughter.

"Kiara sometimes gets scary when she goes into space mode," Grover said, pretending to shiver.

The demigods who had known Apollo's daughter the longest nodded in agreement with the satyr.

"You must get ready for the war that is to come, Poseidon, son of Kronos."

The six children of Kronos shuddered at the mere sound of the name from the lips of the demigod.

"I don't understand why you needed to mention him," Hera complained, giving her a disapproving look.

Kiara did not pay attention to the goddess's gaze.

"I thought that if I mentioned the rock eater, it would make it clear who we needed to start being careful of," Kiara said, causing small laughs at the nickname for the titan.

"Rock what?" Apollo asked his daughter, trying with all his might not to laugh out of respect for his uncles and aunts.

"Yes, you know, because of the myth," Kiara replied innocently, and the god along with the entire room started to laugh.

"From now on, we're calling him that," decreed Ares, looking at his niece with a mischievous smile.

Poseidon watched the demigoddess cautiously, and just when he thought Kiara would say something more, she turned around and began to walk towards her home, humming a haunting melody that faded with the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks.

"Grover is right, sometimes you're scary," Silena murmured, looking at her best friend.

"People tell me that a lot in the future," said the tribrid, with a smile.

And this is the last chapter of Kiara's spring break.

Honestly, I hoped the conversation between Kiara and Poseidon would turn out better. I had it all planned out in my mind and it seemed so epic, but I forgot to write it down in time. I'm sorry if it's not what you expected and if it feels very forced :(

It was hard for me to write this chapter, as I kept losing inspiration, but here it is.

I hope you like it <3
