๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐๐. i can tell you're the same as me
After everyone had finished eating and relaxing, the screen reappeared in the middle of the room.
"Shall we start?" Hecate asked the group, and upon hearing everyone's approval, she began.
"Are you leaving already?" Klaus asked, seeing Kiara and Luke all dressed up.
Both teenagers nodded.
Outside the screen, no one said a word, sufficiently tired after having eaten so much.
Apollo appeared down the hallway, sitting next to Klaus on the couch. He smiled, looking at both demigods.
"How will you get there?" he asked.
"I'll shadow travel, so we can get there faster," Kiara replied while checking her bag.
"Shadow travel?" Kol asked curiously, looking between his niece and brother.
"It's an ability that normally only Hades's children have," Kiara replied, pointing to the god. "It basically allows them to transport anywhere on earth through shadows."
Kol nodded slowly, still looking intrigued at his niece.
"You said that only the children of Hades can use it," Rebekah questioned, looking at her. "So how is it that you can also travel... through shadows?"
Gods and demigods, who were also wondering the same thing, looked attentively at Apollo's daughter.
"It was a blessing from Hades," Kiara answered, looking intensely at the god of the underworld.
He nodded, staring unblinkingly at both of his brothers, who were looking at him puzzled.
"Kiara is the protector of the demigods," the god said matter-of-factly.
The Romans looked at each other curiously after hearing how Hades referred to Apollo's daughter.
"And you expect us to believe you did it as a generous act for our children?" Zeus asked mockingly.
"I don't care what you believe," Hades spat, glaring darkly at the king of the gods.
At that moment, Rebekah and Kol regretted asking and drawing Zeus's attention, especially since they were receiving reproachful looks from their older siblings.
Hecate, seeing that both gods were seconds away from clashing, decided to intervene.
"There are more important things to see than listening to you two argue," the goddess reprimanded them.
Zeus and Hades glared at her, but both wisely decided to shut their mouths.
"Kill a witch for me," Klaus said, smiling at his daughter.
"I will, Dad," Kiara replied.
"Is that what you teach your daughter, Niklaus?" Elijah reprimanded his brother.
Klaus rolled his eyes.
"It's not as if she would actually kill a witch just for fun," Klaus replied.
Luke let out a chuckle that quickly turned into a fake cough upon receiving Kiara's glare.
Meanwhile, the demigods looked at the original in horror.
Apollo and Luke sighed, looking at the pair without hope.
Kiara separated from Klaus's embrace and took Luke's hand, winking at Apollo before both demigods submerged into the shadows.
"I want that power," Kol whispered to Davina, smiling like a small child.
The witch just looked at him, amused.
Luke and Kiara appeared on the streets of New Orleans. Both started walking through them, still holding hands.
"Are you happy?" Luke asked.
Kiara looked at him, her eyes shining under the moonlight.
"I am," the original replied before dragging him towards a bar.
The originals looked at their niece and daughter with a smile, catching her happiness.
A Mikaelson in New Orleans was like a Greek in Greece; they belonged to that city as much as the city belonged to them.
"Let's go," Kiara said excitedly. "Maybe my Aunt Freya is here."
Luke looked at her curiously but followed without a word.
"Were you?" Klaus asked his sister.
"No," Freya replied. "But Hayley was."
They entered the Rousseau's, attracting some looks, mostly at Kiara, but she paid them no attention.
Both headed to the bar, where Luke sat down while calling the bartender.
Kiara, meanwhile, decided not to take a seat and approached the wall full of photographs.
"Hope?" someone called, making her turn around.
"Hope?" Reyna asked, speaking for the first time since she arrived. "Is your other name Hope?"
Kiara nodded uncomfortably.
"It's a lovely name," said Grover. "Why don't you use it?"
"I just don't like it," Kiara murmured.
Grover nodded in understanding, while Klaus looked at his daughter with sadness and pity.
"Hayley?" Kiara asked, watching as the hybrid quickly approached her.
"Look at you," said Hayley, smiling. "You're beautiful and, goodness, you've grown so much since the last time I saw you."
The gods made disgusted sounds upon hearing the woman on the screen mention another god in their presence.
"What are you doing here?" asked Hayley as she led Kiara to the bar.
Luke looked at Kiara with curiosity, holding a drink in his hand.
"How did you get them to give you drinks?" Alicia asked the demigod, pouting because she was always denied.
"I manipulated the mist to make them think I was twenty-one," the demigod answered, causing his siblings to laugh.
"And what is the mist?" Stefan asked, curiously.
"That will be explained later," exclaimed Hecate, resuming the episode.
"I wanted to show Luke the Mardi Gras festival, but I don't think today is the day," Kiara responded, distracted.
"Luke?" asked the hybrid.
Kiara turned to look at her, nodding.
"Luke," she said, pointing to the demigod beside her. Seeing the hybrid's gaze on him, he waved.
"Love, this is my aunt Hayley," Kiara said, introducing them. "Aunt Hayls, this is Luke, my..." but Hayley cut her off with a mischievous smile.
"So, you're the Luke my niece can't stop talking about?" she asked, teasingly.
Kiara's cheeks turned red as she was exposed by her own aunt.
"I didn't think that was necessary to mention," Kiara complained, in a defeated tone.
Hayley chuckled softly.
"Oh, really?" Luke said with an amused smile. "And what does she say about me?"
Hayley was about to answer him, but Kiara quickly took Luke's hand, pulling him up to stand beside her.
"Although we'd love to hear all the details, I'm afraid we must go if we want to make the most of tonight, right, Luke?" she said, flashing a fake smile at Hayley.
"Hey, I did want to hear those details," murmured Aphrodite with feigned sadness.
"They were boring details, don't worry," Kiara replied in the same manner.
The hybrid looked at her somewhat surprised but then smiled sweetly and nodded.
"Okay, sweetie. I'll see you later," she said, approaching Kiara one last time and kissing her on the forehead.
Off-screen, Kiara and Hayley smiled at each other.
Kiara enveloped them in shadows again, and in a blink, they found themselves at the entrance of the fair.
"And now what?" Luke asked.
Kiara looked at him oddly, pointing to the fair in front of them without saying a word.
"Okay, okay. Let's go then," he said, taking Kiara's hand and heading into the fair.
"Do we really have to watch this?" Kiara asked Hecate.
"As I mentioned before, darling. The Fates think it's important," Hecate replied.
Kiara rolled her eyes and murmured, "stupid old ladies" under her breath, which made Klaus look at her disapprovingly for her language, but Kiara ignored him.
"Where do you want to go first?" Luke asked.
Kiara looked around and her eyes lit up when she saw the cotton candy at one of the stalls.
"She's so obsessed with that," murmured Apollo, smiling fondly at his daughter on the screen.
Klaus nodded, the same smile plastered on his face.
Both men adored the ground their daughter walked on, and it showed.
"Do you want some?" Kiara asked the demigod.
Luke looked at her fondly, nodding.
"Then buy it," she said, sticking her tongue out immaturely.
The demigods laughed, some at Luke's indignant face and others at Kiara's blue tongue.
Both demigods went on many rides as time passed, and the last one they went on was so terrible that they both ended up throwing up in a corner of the park.
Silena and Aphrodite made a sound of disgust upon seeing both demigods vomiting, and they weren't the only ones as everyone had turned away upon seeing the clear vomit on the screen.
"Was that necessary too?" Kiara asked with disgust.
Hecate shook her head in disgust.
They walked around the fair, enjoying the atmosphere in comfortable silence, with small smiles adorning their faces.
They stopped in front of a magic show. Kiara seemed to have felt something strange, but she ignored it and turned to Luke, who was already looking at her.
"What's wrong?" the demigoddess asked. "Do I have something on my face?"
"Why do I have the feeling they're about to kiss?" Connor whispered to his brother.
Travis looked at him obviously.
"Because they are, idiot."
Most seemed to start realizing the reality behind this outing, discreetly watching both demigods.
Luke shook his head with a silly smile, not taking his eyes off her.
They both stared at each other for a long while until a nervous laugh from Kiara broke the silence.
Aphrodite let out a squeal, making everyone cover their ears, but the goddess didn't care; she looked delighted at the scene unfolding in front of her.
"Have I told you how beautiful you look today?" Luke asked, his smile widening. "And even more when you smile."
"You are lucky to have me," Kiara whispered in Luke's ear with a sly smile.
Luke turned to look at her, mesmerized, making Kiara smile more, loving his attention.
Kiara's cheeks turned red, and her eyes wandered everywhere, avoiding Luke's.
Gently, the demigod took her chin and forced her to look at him, their faces dangerously close.
"I hate this," Percy complained, crossing his arms.
Grover just mocked, ignoring him, as he knew how jealous his friend gets when it comes to Kiara.
Luke's gaze descended to her lips, while he bit his own, capturing Kiara's attention. By then, both of their pupils were darkened by the intensity of the moment.
"I think you forgot to mention it," Kiara whispered, intentionally brushing her lips against his.
"Oh, for the love of me!" Aphrodite shouted. "Just kiss already."
Silena nodded beside her, and even Piper joined her mother and sister, unable to bear the tension between those two.
Apollo looked at them with hatred, shaking his head while covering his eyes, fleeing from seeing his daughter being kissed by that son of Hermes.
Luke nodded slightly.
"I apologize, then."
"Apologies accepted," murmured Kiara, before joining her lips with his in a passionate kiss, eliciting a gasp from him that she absorbed with delight.
The room immediately filled with whistles from the demigods, who for the moment ignored their hatred for Luke and congratulated him for winning over Kiara.
Both involved demigods tried to hide from Apollo's accusatory gaze, who still hadn't gotten over the fact that his baby was with the son of his deceitful brother.
"I always knew they would end up together," shrieked Aphrodite, giving Ares a kiss out of excitement.
The god nodded, besotted, not even paying attention to what she was saying and looking at her with sheepish eyes.
The kiss quickly intensified, their lips moving in perfect synchrony. Luke slid a hand down Kiara's back, pulling her closer to him, while she tangled her fingers in his hair.
"I'm going to cut off his hand," Apollo warned Hermes, making him look at him disapprovingly.
Luke broke away from the passionate kiss, looking at Kiara with a soft expression in his eyes. Before he could say anything, the demigoddess leaned in towards him, seeking his lips with desire.
"Kiara, wait, I need to ask you something important," began Luke, but Kiara interrupted him with determination.
Kiara started to laugh quietly, remembering how impatient and needy she was for Luke, not even letting him speak.
"Yes, yes, yes. I accept being your girlfriend. Now shut up and kiss me," exclaimed Kiara, not letting Luke finish speaking.
Luke let out a soft laugh, amused by Kiara's impatience.
"What would you have done if my question wasn't that?" Luke asked Kiara.
She looked at him embarrassed.
"Probably move to another planet."
"Hey, I didn't even finish asking!" joked Luke, with a playful smile.
"She's just as impatient as this one," said Klaus, pointing at Apollo while laughing.
"As if you aren't, Nik," teased Rebekah, earning a smile from Apollo for being 'defended' by his sister-in-law.
"I don't care, I already said yes," responded Kiara with a radiant smile, before kissing him again with even more passion.
But Luke pulled away once more, causing a growl of frustration from the demigoddess.
"I just want you to know that you, Kiara Mikaelson, are the most precious thing I have ever had," said the demigod with a sweet smile.
Kiara's eyes shone intensely as a broad smile formed on her lips, and she kissed him again with even more fervor.
Rebekah, Caroline, Aphrodite, and her daughters let out an "Aww" as they watched them with tenderness.
Luke abruptly pulled away from the kiss, groaning in pain as he fell to his knees on the ground, clutching his head with both hands. Kiara, alarmed, rushed to his side, desperately seeking the source of his suffering.
"You've got to be kidding me," murmured Klaus.
Everyone stared at the screen in confusion, with Aphrodite at the front looking angry because they ruined her favorite moment.
"What happened to you?" asked Annabeth with concern.
Luke smiled at her to calm her, but didn't answer.
"You've got a lot of nerve coming here, Mikaelson," said a woman, observing the original with disdain.
Kiara turned furiously, realizing they were surrounded by a coven of witches.
"Who are they?" asked Thalia.
"Witches," Kiara answered curtly.
"I didn't know I needed permission to visit MY city," Kiara replied angrily, casting a glance at Luke.
Marcel smiled as his gaze met Klaus's, both remembering the good old times.
"Now, stop that stupid spell or..." her voice was interrupted by another groan from Luke.
"Or what?" mocked another witch. "There are more of us than you; you can't defeat us all together."
Kiara smiled as she raised a hand and began to choke her.
"Are you sure?" she asked, her voice softening as she began to murmur. The witches that were hurting Luke released their spell, clutching their throats as the started to suffocate.
"What are you doing to them?" asked Jason, looking at a version of Kiara he didn't know, or perhaps didn't remember.
"I'm giving them what they deserve," she replied, shrugging her shoulders.
Kiara watched coldly as the witches writhed, struggling to breathe.
"Told you," she said, her voice laced with a mix of hatred and satisfaction.
With a single gesture of her hand, the witches collapsed to the ground. Some of their heads rolled grotesquely, while others burst under the pressure, scattering fragments and blood everywhere.
Some of that blood splattered onto Kiara's face, but she remained impassive, with an inhuman coldness in her eyes.
The demigods in the room let out horrified gasps, looking at Apollo's daughter with fear and revulsion.
Clarisse seemed to have been struck by Eros, while others...
"Why did you do that?" asked Katie, trembling as she grabbed Travis's hand.
The gods looked at each other, unsure if they should intervene.
"They hurt Luke," Kiara responded, showing no emotions.
"And just for that, you had to kill them?" accused Percy, looking at her seriously.
Kiara shrugged, dismissing it.
"You're right," Kiara responded, causing Percy to soften his gaze. "I should have waited and tortured them before killing them."
Percy's expression turned to utter horror.
"You are not here to judge Kiara's actions or anyone else's in this room," said Hecate, joining the conversation. "She was raised in a different environment, where those witches have tried to kill her since she was born. You cannot judge her for defending herself against those who have always threatened her," concluded the goddess, looking seriously at the demigods.
"But..." complained Annabeth, trying to speak, but Athena silenced her with a look.
Kiara approached Luke, who was already recovered and looking at her with an expression she couldn't decipher.
"Are you alright?" asked Kiara, while examining him from head to toe for serious injuries.
Luke remained silent for a moment, observing his surroundings. When his gaze fell on Kiara, he nodded slightly while reaching out his hand to her face and wiped the blood from her cheeks.
"Aren't you scared... or disgusted?" asked Annabeth, looking at Luke with concern.
Luke gave her a dirty look for the way she expressed herself and just shook his head in sign of no.
"You're asking that... to Luke?" said Percy, mocking.
Annabeth's eyes widened as she remembered, making Thalia look at her with pity, knowing she had probably forgotten what Luke had done to all of them.
Kiara closed her eyes, and upon opening them, she noticed how Luke's icy blue eyes almost completely faded.
"I still feel dizzy," commented the demigod, looking away from his girlfriend.
"So much tension," whispered Allison, not taking her eyes off the screen, just like the others.
Kiara nodded and brought her wrist to her mouth, biting it. She offered her hand to Luke, who looked at her doubtfully.
"Just drink, you'll feel better."
That caught the attention of the gods, curious as to why the blood of Apollo's daughter would help.
Athena was the only one imprudent enough to ask.
"Why her blood?" asked the goddess of wisdom, looking between Kiara and Apollo.
The sun god cursed in his mind, knowing he was going to be questioned sooner or later.
"Her blood can heal," he said, answering for his daughter.
"What? How is that possible?" exclaimed Zeus, looking deeply at his son.
"Can I explain it now?" asked Apollo to Hecate, and when the goddess shook her head, he turned to look at his father, shrugging.
"You will have to wait to find out," he responded to his father, ignoring the growl he let out.
Slowly, Luke brought his lips to the wound and began to drink.
At the first sip, Kiara shuddered. Her free hand clutched Luke's shoulder, seeking support as her body writhed, unable to control the sensations flooding her. A sigh escaped her lips as her eyes closed.
The vampires in the room tried to stifle their laughter but couldn't, bursting into guffaws as they watched the original turn red as a tomato.
"You really gave him your blood?" asked Alicia, looking at her cousin in surprise.
Kiara nodded, embarrassed.
"I forgot what it makes us feel," she murmured under her breath.
Klaus shook his head with an awkward smile while looking at Apollo, who seemed ready to strangle both demigods.
"Is there a problem?" Luke asked, confused, looking between his girlfriend and her family.
No vampire wanted to answer that question, not wanting to embarrass Kiara more than she already was, so they remained silent.
Luke looked at Kiara, still confused, but she shook her head, not daring to tell him what his blood did to her in front of so many people.
Finally, Luke pulled away, his lips stained red, and looked at Kiara with a mix of astonishment and concern. She, still trembling, slowly opened her eyes, meeting his gaze.
"Are you alright?" Luke asked, his voice hoarse.
Kiara nodded, unable to utter a word.
"What does blood taste like?" Chris asked, looking curiously at his brother.
Luke gave him a strange look for the question.
"Sweet," he replied, almost in a whisper.
"Is that a special case because Kiara is different or what?" Percy asked. "Because mine tastes bitter."
The awkwardness in the air dissipated after the demigod's words. Everyone, including the gods, broke into laughter.
Kiara looked at Percy with a grateful smile and he nodded back. No words were needed when both were connected at the soul.
Both demigods reappeared in the living room of the house. Luke pushed her against a wall, devouring her lips with fervor. Kiara eagerly accepted Luke's tongue and quickly switched places, pressing him against the wall.
Everyone watched the scene with pure amusement, especially at the sight of the couple's faces.
Kiara's hands slid under Luke's shirt, touching his abs. However, she stopped when she heard someone clear their throat.
"Are we interrupting something?" Klaus asked with an amused smile.
Kiara and Luke, astonished, quickly moved away from each other, finding Klaus and Apollo looking at them with amusement.
Apollo and Klaus were doing their best not to laugh, but their spasms started to draw attention, and finally, they couldn't hold back any longer.
Elijah and Artemis shook their heads, watching the pair behave like children.
"Well... this is awkward," murmured Luke, scratching his neck.
"You tell me," said Apollo, crossing his arms. "I'm debating whether to rip your head off or give you condoms."
The two demigods were left speechless, unable to believe what they had just heard.
"Dad!" exclaimed Kiara in embarrassment, while Luke hid his nervous laugh with a cough.
"He should be grateful I'm not tying him to the sun chariot," murmured Apollo, visibly annoyed.
Klaus snapped out of his astonishment and let out a nervous laugh.
"Alright, love. I think that's enough of you for today. Go to bed," said the hybrid, taking the god and pushing him towards the hallway, where he disappeared while still complaining about teenagers and their hormones.
The sun god's siblings mocked him for being sent to bed like a little child.
The original turned towards the two demigods, who avoided his gaze. Sighing, he approached his daughter and kissed her on the forehead.
"You should go rest. It's late and you have to go back to school tomorrow," he murmured, smiling at his daughter.
Kiara nodded and headed to her room.
"I suppose she said yes," commented the hybrid, smiling slightly as he saw Luke nod.
"You knew?" asked Kiara and Apollo at the same time, looking at the hybrid.
Klaus nodded, ignoring the indignant gasps of the two people he loved most.
The son of Hermes smiled broadly and headed to his own room, leaving him alone in the living room. The hybrid sighed, walking towards his bar and pouring himself a bourbon while gazing at the ocean through the window.
"And that's the end," Hecate said, as she made the screen disappear.
Everyone stood up from their seats, stretching their bodies.
"You will find a place where you can rest in your parents' temples," she said, looking at the demigods.
The demigods seemed like they wanted to protest, but they were so tired that they simply nodded.
"Rest," she finished saying. "We will continue tomorrow."
Wild chapter if you ask me.
Kiara and Luke had their first date and a slight inconvenience with some obnoxious witches, nothing important.
It's my first time writing scenes like~that, so I apologise if it makes you cringe.
Speaking of cringe, am I the only one who feels disgusted by their own writing? I confess that this is what has been preventing me from writing faster.
But i will get over it, pinky promise.
hope you like it <3
