27 | Oh, Baby!

"Kianna you supposed to be getting dressed." Judah walked out of the bathroom with a towel covering his bottom half and a small frown on his face, seeing Kianna sitting naked on top of her towel on the floor, eating freshly baked brownies and vanilla ice cream.

"I was hungry, and my brownies were done. You want one?" She picked up a piece out of the tray, holding it up for him to grab.

"No. How did you sit here and eat half a pan of brownies? You just got out the shower ten minutes ago." His frown remained, only for her to shrug in response while taking a bite out of the brownie she held.

She lifted a spoonful of ice cream to her mouth to eat with the warm, gooey chocolate brownie, doing a small dance at the tasteful sensation. She should've added sprinkles in the brownie mix; sort of like cosmic brownies, although they actually used chocolate chip candy. That would've really set it off.

"Hurry up mama. We late." He said, and she smiled at how he was letting her finish her snack instead of rushing her to put it up and get ready now.

Kianna ended up finishing the entire pan of homemade brownies on her own, and she knew she would regret that decision within a few hours, but oh well. It would be well worth the future time spent on the toilet.

After washing her hands, she went ahead and got ready as fast as she could. She did a light beat of makeup, and got dressed in her outfit of the day; a long sleeved white dress that stopped below her ankles and hugged her figure while leaving the belly area exposed, and black Burberry leather sandals.

Judah, on the other hand, dressed in white jeans and a Burberry plaid long sleeved button up shirt, with classic archive beige low top Burberry sneakers. He didn't wear any jewelry besides his black Van Cleef bracelets; and the same went for Kianna.

He, as always, was finished getting ready before her, so he sat on the bed to watch her touch up the edges on her slick back water wave curled ponytail, and then, they were finally able to leave.

"You look so pretty mama. You smell good." He had his face in her neck as they rode the elevator down to the parking garage, and she laughed, grabbing his chin after feeling him sniffing her skin.

"And daddy baby so pretty too." He leaned down to kiss her round belly, putting his hands on each side of it while her smile grew.

Kianna officially hit the four month mark in her second pregnancy today, which not-so-coincidentally fell on the day that they were having their gender reveal shower. Like the first time, Amina was the only one who knew the gender, and she was currently at Maria's house with Judah's family, preparing for their arrival.

The last three and a half months have been the best days of both Kianna and Judah's lives. Business slowed all the way down for him after the fiasco that happened with the anonymous S.W.A.T. report, which didn't bother him in the slightest since it just helped speed up the process of him leaving the 'streets' altogether.

Now that his schedule was completely free, he'd been spending every night and every day with the love of his life; the woman he'd be marrying in less than eight months, which was three months after their child's due date. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been so excited and eager for something.

Kianna couldn't wait either. Planning a wedding was so much fun; especially when there wasn't a budget involved. Her man made her feel like a princess every single second of every day, but she was looking forward to walking on literal dream clouds on her wedding day.

For now though, she'd settle for regular princess treatment during her baby shower today, spending it with her favorite guy in the world.

"I feel sick. I shouldn't have ate all them brownies." Kianna had a small frown on her face as Judah helped her out, holding the bottom of her belly.

"I ain't gon' say I told you so, but, I told you so." He shrugged his shoulders, and she rolled her eyes when her frown turned up into a smile.

"You good though? You want me to pick you up?" He asked, grabbing her purse out of the truck before closing the door.

"Please?" She was actually doing just fine; as in, able to still walk, but she loved being carried anyway.

"I'm heavy?" She asked after being picked up bridal style, and he shook his head no, walking towards the front door of his parent's house.

"You still gone carry me when I get fatter? Like when I'm eight months?" She put her finger in the door to unlock it since his hands weren't available.

"Yeah. Then when my baby gets here, I'ma carry both y'all at the same time." He told her, and she laughed at the sureness in his voice as if he wasn't giving her an option on whether she'd be carried or not.

"I know that's right stinky." She chuckled, looking up as they approached the backyard door. "Put me down now baby. I'm fine." She grabbed a hold of his arm, and he did as told, opening the back sliding door afterwards.

Brown and peach colored confetti shot everywhere as soon as they walked out, and Kianna's smile spread so far that she was sure all 32 of her teeth could be seen as everyone shouted 'surprise' simultaneously while throwing more confetti at them.

The theme wasn't the typical pink and blue since they decided to combine their baby shower and the gender reveal, so they went with brown and a high orange-peach themed-color scheme instead. It came out so beautifully, too.

There were big and small balloons all over the backyard, forming sort of a border around the fence, there color blocks everywhere; some spelled Kianna's name, Judah's name, and some said 'Oh Baby!'.

Abel and a few of his brothers were barbecuing over at the outdoor grilling kitchen, there was music being played from the outside speakers mounted on the roof of the house, there was a brown and orange colored treat table with a three feet tall chocolate fountain, and there was outdoor seating with a name placard in front of each plate.

There were even animal themed floats in the pool, where most of Judah's baby cousins were already partying at.

Everything came out so cute, Kianna was trying her hardest not to cry. She was so appreciative that people who weren't even related to her accepted her into their family and were able to make her feel so special and loved like this.

"Happy Baby Day mami!" Maria attacked Kianna in a hug, making her laugh as her arms slid around her to return it.

"Thank you so much best friend." Kianna hugged Amina next after Maria turned to greet her son, the one who'd actually planned the celebration along with the party decorators.

"Anything for my TT baby! You know I got you for life bestie boo." She kissed all over Kianna's face before using her thumbs to wipe her tears covered cheeks, and Kianna sniffed, fanning her eyes to stop the tears from falling.

"I'm so happy. Ugh. I can't go a day without crying yo." She tilted her head back, and Amina laughed while holding a napkin to her eyelids so that she could blink into it.

"Yurrrr! What niggas on?!" Elijah picked Kianna up while her head was still back, and he laughed once she screamed in shock, immediately grabbing his shoulders once she was lifted up into the air.

"Happy baby day lil' sis." Shelly and the boys walked up to her as well, just as she was put down on the ground again.

"Y'all know me so well. But y'all brought real gifts too, right?" She took large stacks of cash from each of them, holding the money as if it was a baby in her arms.

"Hell yeah. Mama Maria said we couldn't come in unless we did." Traydon shook his head, adding a second stack of his to her arms, so now she held four of them.

"That damn table 'bouta break from all the gifts on there. Shit shakin' like a bitch off Roosevelt Avenue." Rico wrapped her up in a hug, and she laughed, laying her head down on his chest since her arms were occupied.

"What's good nigga? Happy baby day." Shelly clasped hands with Judah, and Kianna turned back towards Amina when the boys' attention was taken off of her.

"Here bestie. You can have it." Kianna gave her two of the four stacks of cash, then put the other two into her gold-brown leather Birkin bag.

"It's literally your day and you worried about me. I'm fine, girl. I don't need this." She chuckled, attempting to pass it back to her, but Kianna just waved her off, which made her smile grow.

"Thank you sista. I love you so much." Amina kissed her cheek again before dropping the money into her own purse.

"I love you more. Thank you for everything. I don't wanna say too much because I'm already trying not to cry but I really appreciate you for all that you do for me." Kianna wrapped her up in another hug, and she returned it, rubbing her hand down the middle of her back.

"You are more than welcome. You deserve everything and I'm so glad yo' man make sure you get it all." She smiled, pulling back from her after seeing Judah approaching Kianna from behind.

"Look who decided to be nice today, Mr. Want Me Dead So Bad." Amina twisted her lips up when Judah gave her a hug, then she laughed as he smacked his lips, instantly pushing her away from him.

"Niggas can't even be nice 'cause baldheaded ass hoes like to mess it u-yo, what the fuck?" He frowned, being cut off when Kianna popped him in his mouth.

"Exactly. You know my best friend don't play about me so I just suggest you shut up now." Amina waved her hand at him, and he rolled his eyes at the both of them while rubbing his bottom lip, trying to make sure he wasn't bleeding.

"You are such a wuss." Kianna shook her head at him, sitting her purse down in the throne chair that had her name placard in front of it.

"Shut up 'for I make you cry 'bout somethin'." He leaned his head down to kiss her cheek that almost instantly warmed with blush while she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Can you be civil for one day? Geeeeez..." She smiled up at him, and he returned the same expression, leaving repetitive kisses on her lips.

Over the next hour, they engaged in games with the family and Kianna spent most of the time exploring the snack bar even though she complained about a stomachache, and then, it was finally time for the actual gender reveal.

Kianna and Judah stood in front of six feet illuminated letters that spelled out 'Oh Baby', and Judah was passed a BB gun that would be used to shoot giant balloons that would pop and reveal the gender of their baby.

"Three, two, one!" Everyone counted down, and Judah pulled the trigger and shot at all of the balloons, releasing a pink powder at the same time that pink fireworks went off in the sky.

"Let's fucking go!" He yelled in excitement before tackling Kianna in a hug just as she brought her hands up to cover her face, not bothering to wipe her tears away.

She then laughed through her small cries after being picked up and swung in the air, and Judah followed up with another hug while attacking her face with kisses at the same time. He was so affectionate with her and she loved it so much.

"My baby, man. I love the fuck out you, yo. I'm so blessed mama. I'm so blessed." He spoke as if he couldn't believe it, and Kianna's smile grew when she realized that he was crying too.

"I love you so much. Weeee did ittttt stink!" She wrapped her arms around his neck, and he laughed as she tried to climb up higher on his body. He effortlessly held her up in the air again, then turned her around before placing her down on his shoulders.

"It's about time to start looking for names now, huh?" Abel gave his son a hug as he and Maria approached them, and Kianna looked down at Judah with a smile because she knew he already had one picked out.

"Nah. My baby already got a name. Princess Kiyanna." He smirked, and Kianna laughed from above him at how excited he was to reveal the name of their daughter.

"Y'all be safe, you hear?!" Maria waved goodbye to them, and Judah and Kianna returned waves from the truck.

"I love her so much. She's more excited for K2 than anybody." Kianna chuckled, seeing her still standing in the doorway as they drove off; the last two to leave the house.

"Quit calling my baby that Kianna." He said without looking over at her, earning a laugh from her.

"This K2 got me startedddd," She began to sing, laughing again when Judah turned the radio all the way up to drown her out.

"Ok I'ma stop playing, for real." She smiled after turning the radio down, kicking her feet up onto the dashboard.

"Think shit funny and it ain't." He glanced at Rico's truck that was driving behind them, carrying all of the gifts from the party. It was so many that they had to put a tarp over the bed of his truck so none would spill out during the drive.

"Shut up boy." Kianna waved him off, getting comfortable in her seat as drowsiness took over. She couldn't wait to get home and shower, then lay under her man; the best combination for a night of great sleep.

Judah rubbed over her thigh as he made a left turn out of his parent's estate, driving less than a mile away to the only other house in the gated neighborhood. The construction had just finished about a week prior, and it still had that slightly fresh concrete smell coming from the newly paved wraparound driveway.

"Look," Judah nudged Kianna's arm just before she could doze off, making her lift her head to look out of the front windshield.

"I know youn like when the attention all on you, so I ain't tell you about it at the shower.. some shit just meant to be between us for a minute, feel me?" He reached down in his pocket to pull out two sets of keys, and Kianna glanced between him and the house before covering her mouth.

"These ain't even the keys to the house, you know we keyless 'round this mufucka'. These the keys to our vacation house in LA. Two houses and they ain't even yo' push gift. You know I go big on big for you every time." He put them in her hand, letting out a laugh when she practically jumped out of her seat to give him a hug.

Judah stepped out of the car with her in his arms, hoisting her up against his body. She couldn't even look at the house because she was too busy crying. He always knew what to do to take her literal breath away.

She didn't turn around to look at it even when he put her down on her feet; she just laid her head down on his chest, her favorite place to be. He literally paid for a house to be built to become their home, but her true home was wherever he was. As long as she was with him, she couldn't care less about anything else.

"You ready for me to take you on the tour?" He chuckled, tilting her head back so that she looked up at him, and she nodded her head with a small pout on her face.

Judah knew that Kianna didn't like unnecessarily big spaces; for instance, she didn't want a twelve bedroom house when it would only be her, Judah, and their daughter, Princess, for now. That just didn't make any sense; but Judah still wanted to go ahead and build a house that they would raise their own family in, so it couldn't be too small either.

He ended up settling in the middle of both of their wants, and had a six bedroom with six and a half bathrooms built. The front yard had a big garden and water fountain similar to the one his parents had because those were Kianna's favorite parts of their house, and the wraparound driveway was equipped with a six car garage, built separately from the actual house.

As requested by Kianna on the day that she revealed her first pregnancy to him, the backyard had an outdoor kitchen and a pool with a hot tub, and it also had a small waddle pool that was very shallow and less than a foot deep so their babies could play comfortably in it.

The gourmet kitchen had brand new stainless steel appliances, including the same walk-in refrigerator pantry that Maria had since it was also one of Kianna's favorites at their house, and a double marble island. Near the dining room was a spacious balcony that overlooked the backyard, with an outdoor fireplace for roasting marshmallows in the winter.

Their house had two living rooms, a furnished basement and attic-the basement was for Judah's man cave, while the attic was built into a full indoor gym that they would both frequent. They had a real movie theater and game room, a window reading nook upstairs too.

Kianna almost passed out when she seen their bedroom. The bathroom had a balcony that faced the towering sycamore trees behind their property, equipped with a heated floor, and their closet was the biggest closet she'd ever laid her eyes on; which was very necessary because of her shopping habits.

"Aweee, babyyy," Kianna childishly whined when Judah led her into one of the biggest rooms in the house, decorated similarly to a daycare. It had a small desk with tiny chairs, a big whiteboard, an alphabet painted floor with the matching foam blocks, an indoor park, a play kitchen, and a few toy cars.

"I'm so excited to be a dad. Can you tell?" He chuckled, wrapping his arms around her when she walked into his embrace for yet another hug.

"Yes and I love it so much. This is so-ugh." She sighed. "It's shit like this that can't be taught, you know? Like this is so perfect..I wasn't even thinking about a room like this, and for you to-ughhh. I'm so tired of crying." She whined again, making his smile grow as he wiped her face.

"You are going to be the best daddy ever. Princess is so lucky to have you. Thank you so much." She sniffed.

"That means a lot mama. I appreciate that." He kissed her cheek, and she smiled when he picked her up for the umpteenth time today.

Hearing something like that from the person that meant the most to him was like walking into the gates of heaven. He loved her a whole lot more than she realized.
