As I got into my car, I waited for Brian so he could follow me to my parents' house.

Derrick then called, causing me to pick up with his first words being, "What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Nothing. I'm perfectly fine, I'm moving out so you guys don't have to worry about me anymore." I replied bluntly, completely over the situation and them

"Girl I don't know what's going on with you, but you are going to bring your ass home and I want those car keys." He barked causing me to laugh

"You must've forgotten, I brought my own damn car." I retorted before hanging up speeding my way to their house.

Once I pulled up, I saw my dad, mom, and sister's cars were parked in the driveway. Clara stood by her car and snickering at me as I got out slamming my car door with nothing but anger running through my soul.

Brian stopped at the curb beside the house, and I walked over to his car and said "Don't say anything to them. I'm just going to grab my clothes and money then we can dip."

"If you need me call." He replied getting out of the car to sit on the hood

I nodded in agreement and I began walking towards the door, causing Clara to follow me as I said "Finally. You're getting your ass the fuck out. It's a damn shame that your new boyfriend is what it took. But guess what he's going to get tired of you just like everyone else."

I laughed sarcastically and turned to face her as I seethed, "Fuck you, Clara."

She then smiled and rebutted, "You know what? David already did that and did it real good."

I cringed at the simple fact she thought she was hurting me as I stopped at the door walking in making my mom and step-dad begin screaming at me.

I ignored them walking up the stairs to my room before I then grabbed two huge duffel bags and opened my closet door putting clothes in one and shoes amongst other things in the another.

I then pulled my dresser forward and grabbed my money box, which contained over 500,000 dollars from my racing nights, sliding it into my tote bag.

I then carefully hauled my 2 duffle bags downstairs and my mom grabbed my bag and said "You leave. There is no coming back."

I did nothing but snatch my bag away from her and walked out the door and down the lawn to Brian who took the bags from me before Derrick thundered, "DIANA!"

I then turned back as he asked, "What is going on?"

My eyes teared up as I yelled "You are! All of you. I am so sick of kissing you guys' asses it's just a constant cycle of bullshit. You're "at work" all the fucking time, so my mom takes her emotions out on me and glorifies Clara and don't get me started on that bitch, the fucking monster you and mom have created. Also, you're not my fucking dad so don't talk to me like you give a shit. So do me a favor and all of you can leave me the fuck alone."

He was left speechless as Clara ran up to me and said "Who are you calling a bitch?"

"Get. The. Fuck. Out. Of. My. Face." I said standing face to face with her, with my fists balled up and nothing but sheer anger running through me

She then pushed me and said, "Or what?"

With no other words being said, I swiftly threw a punch to her face and her mouth that immediately started to bleed.

"I called you a bitch." I then said

She then got up and charged toward me, causing me to slam her on the ground and punch her until I just blacked out.

ʚ𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 9 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐆𝐎ɞ

I ducked under the kick being thrown at me by my sensei causing him to grab me by the neck.

"Sloppy." My mother yelled

"Mom! I wanna go play. This isn't fair, Clara always gets to play with her toys and I have to do this it's so boring." I whined as Sensei let me go

"You have different responsibilities than Clara, you are a prodigy of me and your dad."

"Avó tells me that Derrick isn't my father."

"Avó is crazy" My mom snapped back at me

I pouted and said, "You never let me have fun, I'm always training."

She kneeled on her knees and said "You're the reason our family is kept afloat. Aren't you happy about that?"

I nodded wanting to do nothing but please my mother. She then smiled and said "Alright, then you have to keep training so you'll keep the family in business."

"All right...then get your ass back out there and train." She replied causing me to walk back over to my Sensei while we continued to work on my defense tactics.

ʚ𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐓ɞ

I felt my arms pulling me up and looked up to see Brian. I could hear my mom yelling but at the same time, I couldn't.

I heard nothing but muffled screaming and yelling, but as I was getting carried away I saw nothing but the sky. How peaceful everything was calmed me.

For the first time in my life, I felt free.

Freed from these people. I felt like an angel on fire.

I sat on Brian's bed, palms over my face in a light cold sweat.

"Diana talk to me, please!" He begged

I looked up and said "Yes?"

"Let me see your hands" He asked while holding a look of pity on his face

I sat my hands down into his palms, finally seeing how bruised and bloody they were.

He then began to clean them while saying, "Diana, it's okay."

I felt tears begin to stream down my face and said "I-i just don't know what to do, I feel like I was wrong but I know I was right."

Bringing me into his embrace he said "Never feel bad for doing the right thing. Your sister deserved everything that you did to her today."

I nodded gradually as he wiped my eyes, "Let's get ready for tomorrow or we can hit the streets" He suggested causing a small smile to creep onto my face.

He smiled and kissed me softly "You know I got you."

Breaking our long kiss, Brian hovered over me and said "How did I get so lucky?"

I did nothing but smile as he pecked my lips again.

"What's next?" I asked

He shrugged "We'll know...eventually"

I laughed and said, "I know we only said this to each other after we had sex, but Brian, I really have strong feelings for you."

"I feel the same." He replied as I smiled and said, "I'm glad the feeling is mutual."

I then rested my head on his chest and he wrapped an arm around making me feel protected, warm and safe.

"Goodnight, baby" He said while kissing my forehead

"Goodnight, blondie" I said teasingly causing me to feel his internal eye roll, which caused me to laugh.
