I slowly slipped out of bed going to take a quick shower. When I got out I slipped on a bikini beginning to get ready for the day before I looked over at the mini table where my files lay.

I picked them up curiously opening them with a picture of my birth dad being the first thing in the files causing me to smile and a tear to scroll from my eyes.

His cause of death was ruled an accidental crash and the thoughts of the truth began corrupting my mind causing me to squeeze my eyes shut, pain and sorrow running through them as a single before I stopped looking at his file.

I then turned the page and seeing my sister, Mia causing me to smile seeing how gorgeous she was.

She's located at 1327-

"You know, I know where they are Diana," Brian said lowly breaking my concentration.

I then turned and said, "Please take me to them."

"After what I did they want nothing to do with me, even though I did let Dom go."

Tears began to flow down my face as I said "I need my actual family. I need them, Brian."

"I'll bring you to them, but they may not like the idea of us together." He rebutted

"I may not know everything about my brother and sister, but I know that my brother will believe my word on how you've been watching out for me and my sister is also a very forgiving person."

Brian looked down and said, "Look when I was in California, me and one of Mia's friends, we slept together-"

"Brian you seriously have to tell me everything that went down in Los Angeles. From almost arresting Dom to sleeping with my sisters' friends."

He then nodded and said "Alright"

"So you caused the whole family to split?" I asked in shock

"At first I went in and thought I won't care what will happen to these people I'm here to do and finish a job. But me and Dom grew a brotherly bond. He told me about pretty much everything even mentioned you and I started to care more than I should've because I never had that. I tried to steer the Feds away but they started pressing me to arrest Dom and I-i couldn't."

"We have to find them and you have to make it right with them and your mom." I replied grabbing hold of his hand

He nodded and said, "When do you want to leave?"

"Tomorrow?" I asked

"Tomorrow it is," He answered

I smiled and hugged him tightly, "Let's do it."

I woke up in Brian's arms in our bed after a night full of partying. That's when reality began to set. I mean Miami's my home. Tej, Suki, Jimmy, and Rome are going to be here, my brothers and sister.

And although they shed their tears, they understood. I have to find my other family and finally give them the confirmation that I am fine.

I slid out of bed and got into the shower before feeling arms wrap around my waist as Brian said "Good morning baby."

"Good morning." I replied

"You ready to go"

"You know it," I smirked

Putting my last bag in the trunk of my car, I turned and Suki engulfed me in a big hug.

"I'm going to miss you, sis" She whispered

I kissed her cheek and said "I'm going to miss you too, Suki, call me or Brian if you need anything. All of you." I said looking over at Tej, Jimmy, and Rome.

I then turned to my Avó who had a huge smile on her face as I wrapped my arms around her causing her to hug me making sure to lift me off my feet.

She then kissed my forehead and said "When you get there let me know and then I will be on my way."

I nodded and said, "I love you, Avó."

"I love you too, louca." (crazy.)

Those were our final goodbyes before we were on our way to California.

Lᴏs Aɴɢᴇʟᴇs, Cᴀʟɪғᴏʀɴɪᴀ

After a long three days of driving me and Brian were finally here, Los Angeles.

It felt surreal just knowing I was about to rekindle with them for the first time in years, I thought as I pulled up stopping on the side of the street in front of the house taking a deep breath as my anxiety hit.

What if I am not what they expect?

What if they don't believe it's me?

What if they don't accept me and Brian's relationship?

What if Mia doesn't like me?

A knock on the car window startled me out of my thoughts seeing it was Brian with a small smile.

I nodded and opened the door slowly getting out as Brian wrapped his arm around me and said, "We didn't drive to an entire different coast for you not to smile." He teased trying to make me feel at ease

We began walking up the driveway of the house on the way to the porch before finally making it causing me to knock a few times, getting no answer.

I turned to Brian and said, "Are you sure this is the right house?"

He nodded causing me to turn and say, "Let's go," with tears brimming the corner of my eyes before I heard the door open and turned to see Mia.

"Hello?" She said while studying my face for a minute before she yelped, "Diana!?"

I then smiled and said "This is weird but, I'm-" before she cut me off pulling me into a tight hug and said, "We've been looking for you everywhere."

She then pulled away tears now in her eyes and drug me into the house quickly and once Brian got in shut the door behind him

"Letty! Dom!" She then yelled out causing Letty to slowly make her way down the steps until she stopping noticing me while saying, "No shit." before Letty ran back up the stairs with little time passing before she came back down them with Dom.

He looked at me then rushed down the steps, "Diana?" He said lowly while engulfing me in a tight hug that Mia joined in as tears began to flow from my eyes

"I'm sorry" Dom began to say repeatedly

I then pulled away wiping my eyes while saying, "It's not your fault." causing him to hug me again as he said with a low smile, "Last time I saw you, you were ity bity and now you're just so grown up."

I nodded with a smile as Letty then hugged me tightly and said "Welcome back to the family, Duch!"

"I have to catch you guys up" I replied thinking about what went down in Miami

Dom then looked over at Brian with his expression hardening as he said, "What is he doing here!?"

As he began to charge at Brian, I stopped him and said, "Nos conhecemos onde minha mãe me escondeu e ele está cuidando de mim e me ajudou an encontrar vocês" (We met where mom had me hidden and he's been looking out for me and helped me find you guys.)

He then nodded, looking at Brian before saying, "Thank you"

Brian then nodded before Dom turned his attention to me as he asked, "Now, you should be 18 right Duch?"

I nodded with a smile as he said, "Well, let's settle you in for your first beer, Dad gave me my first when I was 18 and it's your turn now."

"Well, I do drink sorry to break it to you. Do you have a Corona?" I replied

Dom smiled and said "Still a Toretto."

I did nothing but smile and for the first time in forever, I felt home.
