I slid on a black cropped tank top and cargo pants with my black and beige Jordans before sliding my curly hair back into a ponytail.

It's 90 degrees outside and I can't wear shorts because of all of the love bites Brian left on my inner thighs and the thought of it alone made me laugh lowly while shaking my head.

I sighed as I put a on little highlighter and mascara. Then glided lip gloss across my plump lips. Then slid on a hat I found on Brian's dresser.

Looking into the mirror, I did nothing but sigh not up with dealing with my mom's shit today. I then looked down into the sink, thinking about everything wrong about me I am going to have to hear.

I then felt Brian's arms wrap around me and kiss my cheek.

"You, Okay?" He asked concerned with the facial expression I wore

I then nodded and said, "Yeah, I just don't want to be around my mom or sister."

He nodded and said, "Well it won't be that long."

"Yeah, more like a century." I replied as he laughed and kissed me on the forehead.

"I'm there for you, always," He murmured hugging me

I smiled and looked up turning around.

"Is that right?" I teased

He then nodded while biting his lip and kissing along my jawline as I grabbed onto his bicep and moaned "Stopppp."

He stopped and smirked at me "You'll be begging for it later."

I then began laughing and hit him softly as he began to run away while yelling like a child. I did nothing but follow after him with a trail of laughter as we began making our way to his car.

I got into the driver seat of the Skyline and then began driving over to my grandmas' house, getting there in no less than 5 minutes.

Using my key to open the door I called out "Avó!"

She then came rushing around the corner and said "Oh my babies!"

I watched Brian light up as she engulfed us in a big hug, with a smile spread across my lips before my Avó said "Why is your mother blowing mí phone up with nonsense about "living in the ghetto and it having a bad effect on you? Ela está me dando nos nervos." (She is getting on my damn nerves)

I laughed and replied "Long story short. I finally got the courage to break off my "relationship" with David, because of Brian. It went sour and he punched me in the face, got his ass whipped twice and I've been avoiding Clara."

"You know you can always stay with Avó." She suggested with a hopeful smile

I nodded and said, "I know but when I graduate I have soul searching to do, and get away from mom and Derrick."

She rolled her eyes "I'm still trying to figure where the hell I went wrong with that daughter. But you have all this man right here, don't even worry about that burro David." (jackass)

I laughed and said, "Yeah, and we're dating now, "

She did a little dance and said "Yes! I knew it he looks at you like he wants to-"

"Avó!" I urged knowing where my grandma was headed with her choice of words

She laughed and said "Alright. Alright. You give him the same look though."

We laughed and she then said, "If that daughter of mine says anything to you, let me know because she needs a good ass beating."

We laughed and I said, "Well I have to shop with her to get my dress."

She nodded and said, "Remember to get what you like, that's your special day!"

I nodded and hugged her "I love you, Avó"

"I love you too baby" She replied kissing my cheek

She then pulled Brian into a hug and said "You better take care of my granddaughter."

"Trust me, I am." He replied causing her to laugh with a smirk

"We have to go." I replied as she nodded and said, "I can't wait for your graduation tomorrow, I'm gonna be so proud, go on!"

We smiled beginning to walk out of the door, I got in my car as Brian got into his, following up behind me for about 20 minutes until we stopped at the Saks my mom wanted me to meet her at.

Me and Brian had each other wrapped in a close embrace as we walked into the store and my mother flagged me down.

"Um-who's this?" My mother asked as we stopped in front of her

I then smiled and replied, "My boyfriend."

"Hi, I'm Brian," Brian said while reaching his hand out to her

She then nodded with a puzzled look on her face, not responding or even acknowledging his presence before she asked rudely "Child where is David? And is this who you've been spending your nights with?"

"Ask Clara not me! And yes, he is!" I spoke appalled by her rudeness

She then made wide eyes and said, "People make mistakes, Diana, you have to realize that."

"Yeah, sleeping with your sisters boyfriend is definitely an everyday mistake people make. She should have more respect for me as my sister and David punched me in the face and you know who was there to protect me, him!" I retorted

My mother did nothing but roll her eyes and say, "I have some dresses for you to try on, you can pick from these three!"

I looked at the three dresses and said: "No! These are hideous and I don't like dresses as it is, and it will definitely not be these."

"Well what do you want, Diana?" She then asked angrily

"I want you to let me look myself since it is my graduation!" I rebutted

She then rolled her eyes again, walking away going to talk with the owner she knew personally.

As soon as she was out of view Brian wrapped his hands around my waist, walking close behind me and said jokingly "Well your Mom sure does know how to welcome people!"

I then laughed and said, "Move!"

I looked back seeing him pout and before stopping seeing this gorgeous red women's suit.

"This is beautiful." I gushed

Brian then smirked, "Let's go try it on there."

I laughed and said "Swerve. I'll go try it on."

Brian made a whining noise before he sat down as I went into the dressing room to try it on.

I slid the dress pants on, then a black mesh top, and the matching blazer.

I then walked out in it and Brian's jaw dropped with a mesmerized look on his face as he said "Um- you, you look amazing."

I smiled before seeing my mom rush over and yelled "Absolutely Not! First, you came here dressed just like a little confused boy, with all of that stuff in your skin exposed, and now this shit! You're not a male and you're not going to dress like one, you look stupid in this and I'm not paying for this thing! I see why David slept with Clara, you look like a little boy and no man wants that."

I felt my eyes water up, as tears began to fall, rushing off into the dressing room.

I am so sick of her.
