"I'm doing this for the boy, not you vampires." She randomly said
We gaze at the lady opening up a big book in front of her, a grimoire.
"How many pages are in there?" Rafe asked interested
"More than I can count." She chuckles softly
"Wow." He said amazed
"Yeah, can we wrap this up-
Mak barged into Malachi's Arm as he was about to be disrespectful. "Don't," Mak whispered.
The witch Luna flipped through pages and pages, and finally, she stopped and read a whole page. Her facial expressions were difficult to read. "Of course." she sighs.
"What?" Marcie asks
"You want me to resurrect someone right?- well this requires dark magic."
"Not a big deal for you, right little witch?" Malachi glares
The witch eyes him carefully, "Sure but it also requires some items for me to cast it."
"Like?" Mak asks
The lights flicker in the room before she begins speaking. "The hell?" Rafe says out loud but everyone hushes him, waiting for what Luna has to say.
"Why?"
"Oh." everyone said annoyingly
"You need something that belongs to Rhea, and blood from one of her family members-
"Easy," Marcus says glaring at Rafe
"And- the tears and fingernails from a sea nymph." she finishes
"A what?"
"Sea Nymph," Marcie whispers to herself continuously.
"The fuck is a sea Nymph Marcie?" Mak eyes her
"Remember when Mom and Dad told us those stories?"
"About Ships and men lured into the sea by an alluring voice."
"Like Mermaids?" Rafe asked
"No, Sirens," Marcie says
"What's the difference?" Rafe crosses his arms
Luna cleared her throat before speaking.
"In Greek mythology, the sirens were said to be beautiful half-human, half-bird creatures who lived on an island surrounded by rocks in the Mediterranean Sea. They were famous for their seductive singing voices, and their songs were reported to drive people to madness with their enchanting beauty. The sirens would lure passing mariners to their deaths with their seductive melody, but Odysseus managed to escape them by having his sailors plug their ears and tie him to the mast."
"And The sirens had a very peculiar calling card: they always left their victims scratched and bloodied. It's unclear why they left their victims in such condition, but it seems that they had a habit of physically attacking anyone who came within range of their hypnotic songs." Luna explained
"Of course!" Marcie exclaimed
"The fuck you happy about?" Malachi glared confusingly
Marcie rolled her eyes before speaking, "The Body we saw in the dumpster had scratch marks."
"And we thought it was a werewolf." Marcus ponders
"It was how Sirens left their victims, scratched up and bloody from their long venomous nails."
"I'm surprised only I remember the story."
"Yeah because the witch had to remind you." Marcus rolled his eyes
"Okay- how are we fucking suppose to find this siren whore?" Malachi asks
"Sirens are half humans so-
"So, They often disguise themselves as humans to be able to lure unsuspecting mortals closer, where they can then take advantage of them by infecting their minds with their hypnotic, seductive songs."
"Is there a way we can lure them into a trap like a mouse?" Milo sighs
"Dead human flesh, sirens eat Human flesh."
Malachi glared at Rafe, "Easy." He smirked
Rafe hurried to hide behind Mak. "Can you not scare my girlfriend's little brother." He said nonchalantly
"Our girlfriend." Milo corrected
Witch Luna gazed at the brothers who were conversing, "Hm, dating your brother's girl." She says
"They're all in a poly with my sister," Rafe replies
"I never thought I would see a vampire- or four vampires at that fighting over a little human girl." The witch ponders
"Honestly me too, I wonder what's so good about her." Marcie barged into the conversation.
The boys continued bickering which was disrupting everyone.
Marcie sighs annoyingly, "Oh can y'all shut the fuck up! We need to find this siren bitch."
Everyone darted their eyes at Marcie who yelled.
"Y'all need the nails of a siren for this to work."
"Easy." Malachi crossed his arms
"Well, we already have a necklace that belongs to Rhea, here." Rafe hands it to the witch who grabbed it.
"And you can use my blood when we come back." Rafe voice softens
"Alright." She patted Rafe's shoulder, comforting him.
"But this spell won't be easy, this is dark magic,"
"dark magic always has consequences." She says with worry
"We'll be fine, we're immortal beings," Malachi said with cockiness, flexing his arm.
The witch took a minute to respond, her eyes and facial expressions say a lot, it was like she didn't want us to do this.
"Take the path up that way and look carefully at everyone, everyone isn't what they seem." she points in that direction.
"Thank you for helping us," Marcie says with sincerity.
She nods her head, "Be careful."
"Alright and is there something else we should know?"
The witch gazes at everyone as they are waiting for her to reply. But She hesitated.
"..No."
"Alright." Marcie headed out the door.

Mak walks past Marcie who was walking ahead of everyone, "Next time, I'll do the yelling." He says nonchalantly
"What?"
"When you were telling us to shut up?"
Marcie rolled her eyes scoffing at her idiotic nonchalant brother. "Sure."
"We've been walking all day, can we please find somewhere to stay and to sleep in for the night?" Rafe asks
"No-
Malachi tries to say
"Fine." Mak interrupts his brother
"This is why you're my favorite Mak." Rafe side eyes Malachi who was snickering.
