"You set me and my siblings up! You knew there was a vampire hunter out there and you didn't think to tell us?!" Mason yelled angrily

"I didn't think I needed to- you guys were werewolves, she only hunted vampires, I'm sorry Mason."

Mason scoffed before speaking "I heard of her when I was a pup, she will hunt anything or anyone if they get in her way. She doesn't like any of us. She doesn't think we should be living in this world with you mortals, I don't know if you know this but the Hade Brothers are the vampires who killed Dali's family. They are known for their ruthless nature and bloodthirsty habits. They are feared and despised by many others and have been responsible for countless deaths. Dali seeks revenge for the Hade brothers' actions, and she is willing to do whatever it takes to bring them down."

"I know- they told me and they regret it."

"Dali doesn't care about regret! It's her destiny to kill us, She was enhanced by the shamans-decades ago to get revenge on all of us," he yelled

I stared behind me watching the car still chasing us. "So there's no way of stopping her?- were just going to die aren't we?" I asked

"Vampire huntresses cannot kill humans- that's not what the shamans wanted,"

"What?"

"Dali cannot kill humans as this is not her directive. She is tasked with hunting vampires and other mythological creatures, but she is not allowed to harm or kill innocents. If she kills a mortal or innocent person, she breaks the laws of the shamans that granted her the ability to fight against vampires and other supernatural threats. Dali is bound to this rule by the shamanic laws." he explained better

"But for me, yes."

"She's going to kill me because I'm a lycanthropy, a werewolf."

"She tried to kill me before though!"

"Did she though? How are you Alive right now?" he eyed me through the mirror.

"I woke up in a hospital and that's all I remember." I sighed

"Look, if she did hurt you-

"She did."

"If she did- I'm sure she felt pain within herself- she knew the consequences- you must have gotten in her way, hunters do not kill just to kill."

"If a huntress kills a mortal they'll die too."

"How do you know all of this."

"Like I said- when I was younger I was told so many stories from my people."

The car behind us bumped into us causing Mason's car to sway. "We're almost back to campus!" He yelled

"I have to call Mak."

"Ugh." He said

"Rhea, If Dali has attacked and killed Gloria and Conan, it's fair to assume that she would not be alone. Even if she was out alone, she wouldn't attack without backup. Dali is a strategic hunter, and she knows the power of numbers. She likely has other hunters by her side, either as backup or a backup plan. If she has no hunters with her, she may bring some in the form of a distraction or to cause chaos." Mason said

"What are you trying to say!?" I yelled at the boy who was scaring me.

"Look." He stared through the rear mirror.

I look behind us seeing another truck following behind us. "You really thought Dali would come alone? There are hunters everywhere- just as there are vampires everywhere." He stated

I hurried and dialed Mak.

"Hello?!" I said on the phone

"Rhea, what's wrong, you alright?" He said from the other end

"we've encountered Dali, she killed Gloria and Conan."

I heard Mason Sigh at the mention of his sibling's name being brought up. I felt sorry for him.

She's not alone- she got her goons chasing us as well."

"Where are you guys right now?"

"We're almost to campus," Mason shouted so Mak could hear

"we're gonna 𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞 every other human out of campus so they won't get hurt." He said

"Be safe Rhea and watch you're back." He hung up the phone

Mason took a U-Turn heading towards campus. He rolled down the window and howled. Because the forest near our college was filled with werewolves lurking- he was calling out to his family and the alpha, alerting them about the danger that was coming.

When Mason and Rhea arrive at the college, they are greeted by the Hade Brothers, who are standing there impatiently. Before they can say anything, Mason howls out to his Alpha and other wolves, alerting them to the deaths of Gloria and Conan. The wolves are immediately on edge as they pick up on the tension in the air. They are ready to spring into action and fight the hunters if need be.

I was pulled into a tight hug from the brothers, and Marcus forced me to look at him. "Are you hurt?" He asked

"We told you to let us come." Malachi interfere

"We don't get time for that shit, she's here and she's not alone."

As Rhea and the Hade brothers stand in the grass together, the sound of howling grows closer and closer. Rhea can see Silas, Seth, and the rest of the pack walking towards them, along with many other wolves. They are coming together at this crucial moment, and the mood is tense.

Silas tried to come closer to me but the brothers stood in front of me, guarding me. Silas laughed from the overprotectiveness

"I'm not here to slap your little bitch again." He smirked

Mak and Milo punched Silas in his face

"Watch who you're calling a bitch." Mak's fist and jaw clenched.

"Stop! We're not fucking here to fight each other, we're here to fight together- my Siblings are dead! Because of her. She's coming to kill all of us."

"Except Rhea," he looks at me

"I don't fucking like none of you vampires at all- no offense."

"None was taken," Milo said

"But we need to beat her ass." Mason finished

"Since when we're you the alpha?" Silas glared annoyingly

"I'm with little dick, I don't want her ugly ass to win." Malachi punched his fists together

"I told you guys what the plan was already." Mak's sighs in annoyance

"We're not letting her fucking kill us." Marcus barged in

"If she kills us she'll leave everyone alone and we could finally leave out of Rhea's life, Rhea shouldn't have to worry about not being safe out, she shouldn't have to worry about her family not being safe, she shouldn't have to be worrying about us vampires, an eighteen-year-old should be living life right now- like a normal adult."

"Wow," Mason said surprised

I stared at Mak's brothers who were showing sympathy.

Mak's concern for me was understandable. He believes that without the supernatural beings in my life, I would have a much more peaceful and less stressful existence. He wants to shield me from the dangerous and unpredictable world of werewolves, vampires, hunters, and others alike. Mak wanted to provide me with a life free from these dangers and conflicts, where I could live a normal, carefree existence. While his intentions are rooted in kindness and love, he seems to misunderstand my feelings on this issue.

"No." I finally said

Mak gripped my wrist aggressively. "What the fuck did I say?"

"I said 𝐍𝐨."

I watched Malachi Snap Mak's neck causing him to fall into his arms, The two trucks were finally pulling up. "Not to side with anyone but I honestly agree with Mak," Mason said

"Shut up furball," Marcus said

I tried to stand with Mason and the other wolves but I get pull back by Milo. "What are you doing?" I glared

"You protected Mak and now we got to protect you."

Milo carried me into his arms and headed inside the building. "Put me down! You fucking asshole!"

"Sorry love."

He threw me on a mattress inside his dorm room where Mak was lying unconsciously.

"It'll all be over soon," he said before shutting the door

"fuck you, Milo!" I yelled, slamming my body towards the door.
