I sat outside on the swaying couch, I pulled out a box of cigarettes and stared. I was thinking if I should do it, smoke it.

I quitted for 4 months and now all I could think of, was how these cancer sticks were going to help me clear my mind.

"Ew cigarettes?" Malachi leaned against the doorframe

I rolled my eyes, "what do you want? I thought you would've been upstairs with your fuck buddy."

Malachi laughed before speaking, "It could be you." He winked his eyes as I turned my face away in disgust.

Even though none of the brothers were unattractive, I still found their sexual comments/jokes awkward. I stared at him with my arms crossed

"So what did you guys do?"

"Well first- I took my shirt off, and then my pants as well as my underwear-

"Okay, okay I get it."

"I didn't do anything to her but bite her neck, I was just trying to get you mad." He states

"Why? I don't like you."

"Denial is a thing." He walked towards me

"I just didn't want you to hurt her."

"Oh please, you don't give a single crap about that whore." He glared

"I'm going inside."

"Stop trying to avoid it."

"I will never like you, vampires, never. You guys kill people! And almost killed me!"

"I didn't mean to-

"Save it, I'm going back inside to finish this sleepover, it's 10:00 pm we should be asleep."

I walked back inside with Malachi. I stared at Sophie who was playing with Marcus' hair. My blood was boiling. She can't keep her little fingers to herself and that irritated me.

"Is something making you mad?"Malachi noticed my face

"I'm fine!" I walked ahead of Malachi and toward the group with a fake smile on my face

I grabbed the remote and turned it off. "It's time for sleep." I smiled

"Who are you? My mother?" Sophie scoffed

"No, but you're in my mother's house and you're going to obey me since she's not here or you can simply walk home." I glared at her

"Rhea, what's into you?" Carmen's face looked disappointed

"Well you're friend has been acting like a spoiled princess all day-if you haven't noticed."

"I've been acting like a spoiled princess?"

"Yes." The Hade brothers spoke up leaving Sophie flabbergasted

"Malachi?! I've been acting like a spoiled princess." She turns to him as she feels betrayed.

"Did I stutter?"

"We don't need to tag team her, let's just go to sleep." Carmen snuggled in her sleeping bag

Yeah, whatever.

"Mom?" I woke up

"Not your mom," Mak glared at me in my tired state.

"You're cooking?"

"No, I'm sleeping."

I rolled my eyes and averted them to look around, I noticed the empty sleeping bags on the ground. "Wh-

"They went home around 10 am, it's 12:45 pm" Mak interrupted me

"Oh-

"You drool when you sleep." Milo looks down at me from the couch

"Wow, tell me something about myself that I don't know."

"You're in love with us--

"Delusional." i said out loud.

A smirk tugged on the brother's lips including Mak's. The mean one.

"I guess my mother is still at the hotel with my brother and Dean." I randomly said

"Yeah, they don't miss you." Malachi laughed

I rolled my eyes and scoffed. "I'm going to go shower."

"I'll come with you." Milo sped in front of me.

"I don't think so." I eyed him

"If you say so, maybe I'll go ask Carmen." he responded

I stopped walking and my eyes squinted at his response. "Why do you have to be a dick?"

"I just love making you mad." Milo replies

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐎𝐑𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐃- I rushed over there and opened it. "Home sweet home." Rafe ran to the couch

"Hello, mom." I hugged and kissed her

"Hello, Rhea." Dean handed his hand out for me to shake it

"Hey."

"I smell men's cologne." Dean randomly said and my mother's face looked concerned.

"Kidding!" He laughed

I sighed in relief, "How was it?" He asked

"It was very different and cool." I dryly responded

I watched my mother go into the kitchen to hook something up. Dean gave me cold glances randomly.

"What gender came over?" He questions me

"Girls only, why?"

"Something is not feeling right."

"What would you guys like for dinner?" My mother interrupted the silence

"Anything you make is fine, dear."

Mom turned to look at me "he's right."

"Okay! Rafe turn the TV down." She shouted

"Be careful who you hang around," Dean whispered before walking away

What the hell was that about? I shook my head and went upstairs. I noticed the door that used to be locked was now open. I walked into the room and found a big library showcase with portraits all around. The room gave me a horror uneasy feeling and felt shivers down my spine when I walked in.

But it's just a library.

"What are you doing in here?" Dean's voice caused me to jump

"Nothing! I just saw it open."

Dean sighed and dragged me out, I watched him lock it back shut. "How do you know about this room in our house?"

"I don't, I found out about it today-great for reading books." He awkwardly smiled

"You're right, I love to read and I needed a new book to read." I tried to walk towards the door but he blocked my way.

"Stay away from here." He demanded, his tone sounding more aggressive than usual.

Why is he being so weird? Everyone has been acting weird lately and I'm not feeling or understanding it. I'm going to get to the bottom of it and see what's in there or what it's about.

And no one is going to stop me.
