Four long months without seeing the Hade brothers. I and my family moved to Covington Georgia two months ago and I graduated from high school. It's a nice town I guess, with lots of families and friends. Fun places to hang out in, five-star restaurants.

I began packing my clothes and everything I needed, I was finally going to college.

I came downstairs with my boxes, my brother was crying at the dining table surprisingly. "Rafe, what's wrong?" I hurried to him

"You're leaving me?" His eyes softened and filled with tears.

I was speechless, " I'm coming back."

"When? How long will you be staying there? Will you be able to come back for my birthday?"

Rafe was asking questions over questions, it made my eyes water and I felt sick. Like I did something wrong- I never seen my brother cry like this except when he was a baby.

"I will be gone for a while, but I'll make sure I'll call you guys." I turned to look at my mother and Brother who were tearing up.

"I hate college," Rafe states

"Well, it's gonna help you find some good careers in life." Mom applied

I hugged Rafe tight.

"Take care of Mom," I whispered in his ear as I hugged him.

"Okay, and don't fall down no steps." He joked

As I sat in the passenger seat of my mom's car, my heart raced with a mix of excitement and nervousness. The road stretched out before us, leading to a new chapter in my life - college. Mom looked over at me with a smile, her eyes filled with pride and a touch of sadness.

"You're all grown up now, Rhea," she said, her voice tinged with emotion. "I can't believe my little girl is heading off to college."

I smiled back at her, trying to hide my jumble of emotions. It felt like just yesterday when I was a kid, playing make-believe in the backyard. But now, I was embarking on this new journey, ready to spread my wings like a little butterfly.

As we arrived on campus, the hustle and bustle of students filled the air. I couldn't help but feel a surge of adrenaline as I stepped out of the car, my heart pounding in my chest. Mom and I unloaded my belongings and made our way to the dormitory.

Inside, I was greeted by the sight of a small, cozy room, filled with the promise of new beginnings. My roommate wasn't in here yet, I was curious to know who it was going to be because of the choice of colors on their bed sheets.

After my mom had done dropping my boxes, she turned to look at me with an 'I'm proud of you' facial expression.

I ran towards her with a hug, hugging her tight. "Ah I'm going to miss you guys so much, I promise I will call as I can."

"I love you, I'm proud and happy for you." She spoke

"This is Goodbye." She said

"Not goodbye, See you soon." I corrected her, my lips turning into a smile.

Over the next few days, I settled into my new routine. Classes, study sessions, and exploring the campus became my daily adventures. But amidst the whirlwind, I couldn't help but notice the mysterious presence of this tall man. He was wearing a black biker jacket with jeans. His hair was curly and fluffy. I ran towards the boy and tapped his shoulder. "Do we know each other?"

The man turned around confused and it wasn't who I thought. "No, I don't think so." He replied.

"Sorry." I walked away from the awkward encounter.

What the hell was I thinking? I shook my head from the sudden weirdness I was feeling. "Hey, I know you! You were in my classes." An unfamiliar girl said from behind me.

I turned around and saw this pretty woman, shorter than me, with brown skin with box braids. "Oh yeah, hi." I waved at the girl

"The boy you were speaking to was Jeremy, a nerd, a hottie but an idiot." She said causally

"Oh."

She held her hand out so I could shake it, "Gloria, Gloria Williams, and you are?"

"Rhea Kinsley." I shook her hand back

"Welcome to Newton College."

"Thanks."

"So, who's your roommate?"

"I don't know, they haven't come in yet-- I don't even think I got one."

"Hm, I'm sure you do, but anyways. Nice to meet you I hope to see you around more. And here's my number." She exchanged her phone.

I awkwardly put her number into my phone. It felt weird abandoning Carmen for someone else but I guess Gloria seemed nice.

"Okay bye! Pretty." She walked away

I made my way down the college dorm halls to my room. I opened my door with my key and noticed a boy- who was staring out the window.

I closed the door behind me, "Hello, I'm Rhea." I spoke softly

The man turned around, his familiar voice and face spooked me. I dropped my journal on the floor in shock. A soft smile tugged on his lips. I ran towards the boy and jumped on him.

He held my weight up in his grasp, my legs crossing over his torso as I laid my head comforting into his shoulder. I never thought I would do such a thing to this handsome tattoo man-but I did.

"Okay, Okay." He said, trying so hard to be mean.

"Is it really you?"

"No, it's the boogie man." He joked

"Hii Mak." I softly chuckled

"Hi, Rhea."
