As I tried to run towards the girl I felt a grasp on my arm, it was the principal, Principal John.

"Rhea! in my office now."

I sighed and huffed in annoyance knowing I was in trouble and there was no way out of this.

"What was the reason?" he grabbed his notebook and pen

"Sophie was bullying me and my friend and I decided to defend her-

"You know violence is not the answer so why do it?"

"Sir, Sophie was being racist towards me continuously, she called me a black bitch. I know violence was not the answer and I'm sorry but I was angry and I couldn't hold it anymore ."

He nodded his head in understanding, "You're suspended for 10 days."

"I could make it 20."

I walked out of the office and rushed towards the women's restroom. I stared at myself in the mirror for a good 5 minutes. I ran the water on and wetted my face. My eyes turned to one of my classmates, Anna who just walked in with her eyes already on me.

"Hi Rhea, Mak wanted to know if you were okay?" She robotically asked

I realized that she was being compelled by Mak. "Yeah, I'm fine." I awkwardly smiled.

"Your principal called me and said that you were fighting another student there? Why?" Mom glares at me

"She deserved it honestly." I walked to the kitchen to grab me a bottle of water

"What? Why would you say that."

"Mom she called me a black bitch and she was embarrassing my friend."

"Okay, never mind- I'm just glad that you're okay."

"So you won?" Rafe questions

"Yes."

"Finally."

"Excuse me?"

Rafe walked away chuckling towards the living room. "Rafe be kind to your sister please." Mom demanded

I unlocked my phone and stared in disbelief at a text message from Carmen.

"Oh wow, she's posting quotes about me on her story."

"Ignore her honey."

"That's how you know when a person is lost and desperate."

I lay against my pillow and stared at my ceiling, just pondering about life.

"Whatchu thinking about?" Milo interrupted my peace

I rolled my eyes sitting up against my bed frame. "What do you want."

"So now I can't check up on my Rhea?" Milo grins

I pushed him off the bed, "Goodnight." I smiled

"Rhea I need you to watch your brother while me and Dean get more materials for the house, Alright?"

"I'm fifteen for God's Sake."

"Well, you sure don't act like it," I replied

I watched my mother and Dean leave the house. "Want to play a board game?"

"Who the hell still plays board games?!" He scoffed

"Well- I'm just trying to sibling bond with you."

"Boring."

"Can you stop trying to be smart with me while I'm being serious?!"

"I'm being serious."

"No you're not, just please talk to me- just tell me.. how do you feel about Dean?"

"Dean is cool I guess."

"Awe."

"Shut up rat."

I rolled my eyes, "And you're school?"

"It's okay, I've made plenty of friends- you know, 'cause I'm popular."

"Right-

"You think so?" he winked

I pushed his shoulders playfully.

"So, do you like anyone at your school Rhea?"

"I wouldn't say Like but it's complicated, I don't want to say too much."

"It's only us two in the house," Rafe replies

"Fine, what if I tell you that this person isn't just 'one person"

"Rhea you a hoe." He laughed

"Excuse me, this conversation is over." I rolled my eyes at the boy who was cracking up on the floor.

"Okay carry on," Rafe said

"These males make me feel things that no one else does, they are different from others, and their emotions could be confusing."

"Just like yours?"

"No, my emotions are not confusing."

"Anyways, they are dangerous and I don't think I could ever see myself with any of them."

"We wouldn't fit."

Rafe stared confusingly as he was trying to figure me out. I was talking so emotionally that I felt like crying. I always let my insecurities get in the way of my love life or people in general. I hated my flaws and I knew others would as well.

I'm still a Virgin at 17 I don't think I would ever get naked in front of a male. I hated myself and I'll always will.

I hated the feeling but that's how I felt. I push my feelings away from the males because of these reasons.
