Frodo is alone, trying to catch himself after using the Ring again. suddenly he hears the sound of footsteps, and he stares up at the person seeing it's just Aragorn. "Frodo?" the man asked, looking at frodo with a worried gaze. "It has taken Boromir." the little hobbit answered numbly. A sudden urgency looms over the heir of Isildur, and he steps forward. "Where is the Ring?" at this, frodo backs away, afraid of the bigger and stronger man's actions. But this doesn't make Aragorn continue. he stops short, shocked that the hobbit has so little trust in him. "Stay away!" frodo calls as he scutters a few feet away from Aragorn. The man tilts his head in confusion and says softly, "Frodo ... I swore to protect you." frodo isn't convinced. "Can you protect me from yourself?" teh small hobbit uncurls his fist, and on the palm of his hand lies the Ring gleaming in the dense light. It at once starts to call for Aragorn.
The man's eyes are drawn to it. "Would you destroy it?" frodo says, his voice holding so many emotions. The Ring continues to whisper. Aragorn. Aragorn. Elessar. Aragorn doesn't say anything but kneels in front of frodo, his worn hand looming over the Ring. the eyes of grey look up and meet Frodo's blue ones. "I would have gone with you to the end ... into the very fires of Mordor," Aragorn says and smiles a little, closing his hands around Frodo's and closing out the Ring. "I know. Look after the others, especially Sam ... he will not understand." frodo says with a small amount of courage. Aragorn nods.
A whisper yet entered their mind, soft and calm. Go, my dear frodo. Be free of it. Go to the fires, go to the doom. For us cannot follow where we walk. We cannot bear your burden. We are more robust in number, weak alone. Ring of the lord, Ring of power has no power here. Go where it'll meet its doom. Go with Samwise. Go. Its Tatsuo. Aragorn smiles, and frodo sighs, turning away. suddenly the man of the wild sees something glinting in the hobbit's belt and calls out, "Go, Frodo!" frodo looks at Aragorn, witnessing the man giving him the gesture of go and having his sword drawn. "Run. Run!" Aragorn calls out again, and frodo backs into the trees, leaving Aragorn alone to face off this foe.

"Find the Halflings ... find the Halflings!" the Uruk leader calls out as his fellow monsters swarm the spot, being killed of the fellowship in the meanwhile. In the forest, frodo runs and tumbles here and there. Soon he has to take a break behind a big tree. he breathes hard. "Frodo!" an urgent whisper reaches his ears, and he whips his head around, seeing Merry and Pipping hiding not far from him. "Hide here, quick!" Merry beckons, and his friend does the same, but frodo stares at them for some minutes before shaking his head, a great sadness in his eyes. "What's he doing?" Pippin asks Merry as the older one meets Frodo's eyes in a fleeting moment. Merry's heart clench as he understands what Frodo is going to do.
it may be the best for them all, but it still hurts to see him go. "He's leaving." the golden-haired hobbit tells his younger friend softly. But Pippin will not have it and yells out, "No!" the young Took stands and makes his way toward frodo, but Merry grabs his arm "Pippin!" soon, they hear a sound like hundreds of feet coming crushing down a hill. They turn to the sound seeing Uruks running down the slope. The monsters cry out, signaling the others that they have found their prize. Merry and Pippin quickly glance at Frodo "Run, Frodo. Go on!" Merry says to frodo and waves his hands in the air, "Hey, hey you! Over here!" Pippin soon joins in and calls out to the Uruks. A deep growl is heard behind them, and they turn around, running away from the Uruks as the monsters stop at the bottom of the slope, afraid and chattery. Then, out from Frodo's hiding spot leaps a black beast more enormous than the Uruks by a head.
Soon the beast snarl, and frodo get to see what it is—a big black wolf with small white dots in its fur like scattered stars. Tatsuo frodo thinks and smiles quickly. Before running off. The Uruk leader roars at the wolf, "get out of our way, beast!" the wolf doesn't answer but leaps, landing in the middle of the group tearing most of them to shreds. Some of them escape running after where Merry and Pippin had.
Merry and Pippin stop seeing another pack of Uruks charging at them in a small clearing. Finally, they realize they're trapped. Then just as suddenly as the giant wolf, Boromir set forward, beheading many orcs and Uruks in his path. Merry and Pippin can't do much other than watch. soon the man of Gondor sounds his horn, echoing through the forest, reaching Tatsuo's ears and Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli's. "The horn of Gondor!" Legolas calls out and meets Aragorn's eyes. "Boromir!" the man says and starts running in the way of the horn as they can only hope they don't get there too late.

A gasp sounds as the mighty warrior falls to his feet. The Uruk caption snarls and aims his black bow at Boromir's heart. But before he can let go of the deadly arrow, a blurred shape changes at him, tearing his bow from his hands, crushing it under her paws. "rare!" comes a roar out of the wolf as she lands in front of Boromir's weakening form. Lurtz, the monster captain's name, stares in fear as the big black wolf stares back at him, blood from his fallen comrades dripping from her jaws. The lips are fluent about to reveal many sharp white teeth. Without further ado, howl ripples from the beast's throat as she charges at the defenseless Uruk tearing him to shreds in no time.
When Aragorn arrives, he sees at least 20 dead monsters lying heaped around the seasoned warrior, and in front of the big black wolf lies one single. Aragorn stops short at the sight of the wolf carefully studying her. the beast has its head toward the ground, seemly staring at it. Black blood is pooled aorund its feet, dripping from its open maw. "Aragorn," the wolf breathes, and two cobalt eyes turn to meet gray ones. "I coudnt save him," the voice of Tatsuo comes forth, weekend and breaking. Soon she turns aorund, trotting over to Boromir, who lies slumped against a tree.
Aragorn joins her and kneels while the wolf lie. she nuzzles her nose against Boromir's face, under his chin, and again the three arrows protruding from his chest, abdomen, and some other place. When the beast-like creature's wet nose reaches the e places, a deep snarl emits, and she moves her head away. "They took the little ones..." Boromir says in a pained gasp to them both. Aragorn says nothing but places a hand on Boromir's shoulder to staunch blood flow. Tatsuo whimpers, nuding the man as he suddenly grips her fur "Frodo ... where is Frodo?" the wolf is bothered by the question and lets out a whimper.
Aragorn answers for her, "we let frodo go" Boromir holds Tatsuo's gaze letting go of her fur. "Then you did what I could not. I tried to take the Ring from him." a whimper is heard again from Tatsuo, and her voice enters the fallen warrior's mind. Don't blame yourself. It was the Ring who made you do it. Boromir smiles weakly at her and then turns to Aragorn. "Forgive me. I did not see ... I have failed you all." the heir shakes his head. "No, Boromir. You fought bravely. You have kept your honor." the man of the wild then tries to bind Boromir's wound, but the steward's son grabs his hand. "Leave it! It is over ... the world of Men will fall, and all will come to darkness and my city to ruin ... Aragorn..." Aragorn shakes his head softly and looks at Tatsuo, still lying at Boromir's side, her head on his shoulder. Well, as well as she can.
Her snout is pressed against Boromir's skin breathing warm pluffs of air onto it. Aragorn turns back, meeting the Ward of Gondor's eyes. "I do not know what strength is in my blood, but I swear to you ... I will not let the White City fall, nor your people fail..." Boromir smiles weakly again. "Our people ... our people..." he reaches for his sword but cannot get it, so Aragorn helps him placing it in his hand and then again on his chest. a whimper emits from Tatsuo as if she feels the life slipping out of Boromir. "I would have followed you, my brother ... my captain, my king," Boromir says, taking his last breath. When he is no more breathing and the life has left his eyes, Tatsuo sits up, laying one paw upon Boromir's chest, and lifts her snout, letting out a sorrowful howl.

Aragorn pays also respect to Boromir and whispers, "Be at peace, son of Gondor." he then leans down, kissing Boromir on the forehead. Soon legoals and Gimli comes to see the two f their strongest mourning. A sad look crosses legoals, and Gimli bows his head. Aragorn stands as Tatsuo ends her mournful song, "They will look for his coming from the White Tower ... but he will not return." a lone tear wakes its way down Aragorn's cheek, and Tatsuo comes up to him, pressing her snout agasitn his head.
And so passes Boromir, son of Denethor.
