THEY WERE IN THE ENDGAME now, Stiles frantically got to the station to inform his dad about the newfound revelation. "Dad, Scott and Kira have been kidnapped and taken to Mexico. Okay?"
"I think that's a pretty good reason for a trip to Mexico." Stiles negotiated. And although he's smart, he knows his dad won't go for it.
Noah inhaled, "Okay. Even if Deaton is right about this... The best thing to do is to go through the proper channels."
Stiles didn't like that, wanting to protest but Noah continued, "That means calling the right law enforcement agencies, border patrol, putting out an all-points."
"Dad, I can't just wait around for the wheels of bureaucracy to start spinning in five different government offices. Okay?"
"Someone needs to go down there right now, find them and rescue them. I'm going." The teen replied, they were at a standoff.
Noah looked pointedly, crossing his arms. "I can keep you from going."
Stiles matched his energy, shifting on his feet, "I'd find a way."
"I can throw you in a cell." The brunet could tell his dad was getting annoyed.
If he wasn't also annoyed he'd find it hilarious. "I'd still find a way."
Noah sighed, "Stiles, please. Just give me a little more time to verify something slightly more concrete than a psychic vision by some guy with a third eye!"
Seeing his son's look of disappointment, "Look, I will call every law enforcement agency all the way down to South America if I have to."
"If nothing turns up, then I'll book two flights to Mexico. We'll both go. Okay?" The older man said.
Stiles nodded his head, "Okay, okay, great."
After a beat he asked, "Do I get a gun?"
"No." Noah responded quickly, knowing exactly his accident prone son was. With that Stiles left the station already concocting a plan. But he needed to head to Scott's place.
Once he reached Scott's house, he met with Malia, he figured since she was a werecoyote she could find something with his scent and they could track him down.
They were rifling through his closet, but everything smelled like fabric softener, which meant Melissa recently did laundry. And the only items that weren't washed were boxers.
"Remember, Scott's life is on the line." Stiles reminded her.
Malia grabbed his pillow, shaking off the case, and sniffing it. "Yeah. That works, too." She breezed by him and the two walked downstairs.
Only to find Liam standing in the kitchen, Stiles exclaimed, "Oh! Liam, go home. You're not coming with us."
"Why not?" Liam asked.
"Because it's a full moon. And I don't feel like driving all the way down to Mexico just to have you rip my throat out." Stiles stated.
Liam suggested, "You can lock me up, right? Chain me down to the back seat or something?"
Malia pointed out, "You tore through the last chains, remember?"
"Yeah, we would have to freeze you in carbonate to get you down there." Stiles said.
Liam stared blankly, then asked, "Okay, then where do we get carbonite?"
Stiles was stunned to silence, completely baffled, "Seriously, you haven't seen it either? Alright, Finn's officially my favorite."
As Stiles started to walk away Liam called out, and stood in front of the door.Β "Wait! What if we put me in the trunk?"
"Liam, you've been a werewolf all of five minutes. You don't have to do this." Stiles stated.
"I know I don't, but I want to do this. There's gotta be bigger chains, a bigger trunk or something. There has to be." Liam rambled.
Stiles thought for a moment, "Maybe there is."

Finn was heading to the club room, relieved the day was over, he didn't want to sit through another one of Coach's dumbass rants.
About Greenberg who wasn't even there to defend himself. He was going to slam his head against the wall.
One of the many things he had to do was stay late at the club room. Claire wanted him to proofread a few articles, and make sure the photo developing solution was up to code.
They definitely didn't need a repeat of Todd mixing up the wrong chemicals and completely ruining a batch of photos.
He had the room to himself. It was nice, with a lack of hustle and bustle. Finn took out his iPod and headphones, listening to his music the teen also decided to clean up.
Fixing the stacks of paper on everyone's desk, and sweeping the floors. As he was sweeping, he heard footsteps in the hall, so he peeked his head out of the doorway. It was Mason.
Thinking he could come back, he walked over to him. Finn greeted, "Hey Mason, what are you doing here?"
Mason smiled at him, "Hi Finn, I'm looking for Lydia. Do you know where she is?"
"Uh no, but I can help you find her." Finn offered.
"Are you sure? I don't want to interrupt whatever you were doing in the photography club room."
"It'll be here when I get back. Besides, it's easier with two people than one." Finn replied.
Mason chuckled in agreement, "That's true, alright, let's go."
The two walked side by side to a classroom, both Mason and Finn called out for the redhead. So far, nothing.
The school was eerily quiet, the sun began to set, in Finn's opinion it made the building creepier. Or was it the scary things that happened more often than not that was creepier?
Mason noticed something by the stairs, Finn followed after him. It was a jacket and Lydia's phone, Mason remarked, "No wonder she's not answering."
He turned the phone on to see a photo of a bony monster, it looked exactly like what Liam described as a Berserker. Like a villain from the predator movies.
"What the hell?" They questioned simultaneously. When suddenly, that same thing was in front of them. The two of them were frozen. Having no idea where to run to.
Next thing either of them knew, everything went dark. Finn's eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the dim light, a raging headache thundering in his brain.
He groaned, getting up, startled when a hand laid upon his shoulder. It was Lydia, well at least they found her.
He turned his head to see Mason was there too, "What the hell happened?" He asked.
"There was this guy. Huge." Mason said, piecing together past events.
"I saw it too." Lydia said.
Mason patted around his pockets, Finn did the same, "My phone's gone."
Finn scratched his hair, "Mine too."
"I think that's the point." Lydia retorted.
Both boys faced Lydia, as she glanced from them to the hall. "Okay. Well, wait what's he gonna do to us?"
Finn replied, "Hopefully not kill us for one thing."
Mason and Lydia silently agreed, "I don't know. But it definitely doesn't want us to leave."
"Lydia, why do you keep saying 'it'?" But before she could answer the three of them heard growling coming from the other side of the hall.
Mason stood up, Finn almost chastised him but refrained. The boy peeked around the corner, to try and get a better look at it. "What is that thing?"
Finn looked at Lydia as she got up, standing beside Mason looking down the dimly lit hall. Where the berserker was out of sight. All she could say was, "Not human."

In the transport van, that was a whole other story, Liam was breathing heavily, his claws protruding from his fingertips. He yanked his hands back, startling Stiles.
He groaned, as his eyes began to glow. "Whatever you're gonna teach me... I think you better start."
The younger teen kept breathing heavily, struggling to keep everything in. Braeden was more focused on the road, while Derek spoke to Liam. "Liam, you with me?"
"We have a mantra that we use. You repeat it, focus on the words. It's like meditating. You say the words until you feel control coming back to you." The man said.
Liam did his best to keep himself under control, rocking back and forth. "Okay. Okay, okay! What are the words?"
Derek looked at the triskelion, "Okay, look at the triskelion. See the symbol? I have a tattoo on my back, it's the same thing. Each spiral means something."
Stiles pointed out, "Alpha, Beta, Omega."
Derek continued, "It represents the idea that we can always rise to one and fall back to another. All you have to do is say the three words."
"And with each one, you tell yourself you're getting calmer, more in control. Go ahead." To which Liam started repeating the mantra. With each passing second Liam was getting worse.
As his voice had a hint of distortion, and if they didn't do something now, he was going to tear the entire van and themselves apart.
Stiles backed himself to the corner of the van, nervously glancing at the raven haired man. "Derek, I don't think the powerful talisman of self-control is working."
Liam grunted, his eyes were no longer blue, shifting to gold. He roared, as Derek repeated for him to say the mantra again. But nothing was working, the teen roared, getting in Derek's face.
He rocked the van and jostled everyone in their seats, as Braeden struggled to stay on the road. Liam then broke his chains, aiming his hands for Derek's throat.
Braeden yelled out for him but Derek told her to keep going, she did just that, "I think we're gonna need to go a little faster!" Stiles shouted.
He turned to Derek, "Derek, I don't think Alpha, Beta, Omega is resonating with him."
Derek continued to keep Liam at bay, "You know any other mantras?"
Stiles rattled his brain for a moment, before taking over, trying to talk to Liam. "Liam, Liam. What three things cannot long be hidden?"
Liam glanced his way but went back to Derek, "Liam, look at me. What three things cannot long be hidden? What three things?"
He got his attention again, Liam grunted, before finally being able to spit the words out. "Sun, the moon, the truth."
Stiles encouraged him, "That's it. Say it again."
Liam stopped, reeling his hands away from Derek, "Sun, the moon... the truth."
Liam felt like he was gaining control, repeating the mantra again, "Sun... Moon... And the truth." All four of them could finally breathe.
They pulled in front of La Iglesia, and geared up, "I can't believe I did it. For a minute there, I thought I was gonna tear the two of you apart." Liam, admitted with a scoff.
"Yeah that would've made for an awkward ride home. So, thanks." Stiles said.
"Think you can bring the same level of control and strength inside La Iglesia?" Derek asked. Instead of saying anything, Liam flicked his hand out revealing his claws.
Stiles was impressed, "All right. We might actually be able to do this."
ββββββββββββββββββ
Finn, Mason, and Lydia stood shoulder to shoulder against the wall. She softly whispered, "I don't hear it. Come on." But Mason reeled her back.
"Is she insane?!" Finn wondered.
"No, no. There's only one way out on this side of the basement." Mason stated.
Lydia looked at him pointedly, "I know. But if we don't get out of here, someone's going to die."
Finn didn't know exactly who this someone was, but he guessed it was one of their friends. "How do you know that?" Mason asked.
Lydia knew he wouldn't be able to handle the info-dump, "I just do. We have to at least see if he's blocking the exit."
It was weird seeing someone not be in the know about supernatural stuff, Finn sometimes wished he could go back to being that blissfully unaware.
The boys sighed, all three peeked out to see a berserker stomping in the middle of their exit plan. They reeled back, "Yeah. He's blocking it."
Finn made eye contact with Lydia, "So what now? If he's blocking our way out. How the hell are we gonna get past him?"
Lydia once again gave an 'I don't know' expression, which made Finn curse under his breath. But she looked around the room, her eyes landing on a couple of baseball bats.
She went over to it, grabbing one, "Are you serious?" Mason asked. But Finn knew she was onto something, he took a bat as well.
"Very." She answered. In Finn's opinion, arguing about what action would be the wisest to take is stupid.
Mason pointed out the monster, "A baseball bat? Against that guy?"
Lugging it behind his shoulder, Finn retorted, "Do you have a better idea?"
"My friends are in trouble. They need me. I'm going for it." Lydia said, then she walked away, Finn took one last glance at Mason and followed behind Lydia.
Both of them walked to it, and although fear radiated off of them, that wasn't going to stop them from taking this thing down and kicking its ass.
But Mason beat them to it, running up to it and striking it with his bat, when it knocked him to the ground. Lydia took a few hits to it, but got thrown down.
Then Finn took his turn, hitting it with all his might, but got hit too, the three of them were cornered. And just as it was about to kill them, they heard someone call out;
"Excuse me. Catch." It was Noah, he threw a bomb, the four of them took cover, and seconds later the berserker was blown to smithereens.
Finn coughed as Mason helped him up on his feet, "Mr. Stilinski, you sir, are a badass."
Noah chuckled, "You three okay?"
"Yeah, I think so." Mason said.
Noah was glad, but when he saw the berserker's skull, he picked it up. "It was after me. It wanted me to stay in Beacon Hills."
"I think this was all some sort of distraction." Lydia said.
Noah looked at Lydia, "Because you knew, they're trying to kill someone."
"Kill who?" Mason questioned.
Then it clicked the only person that the majority of the supernatural world wanted dead was the most powerful werewolf. The true alpha. "Scott."
ββββββββββββββββββ
At La Iglesia it was three on one the berserker was faltering as Malia, Peter, and Liam were handing blow after blow. Peter tossed Malia a bone knife.
Liam and Peter had the monster pinned to a column, and when Malia was right about to plunge the knife into its chest Stiles ran into the room and shouted.
"No, wait, wait! Malia, wait!" Kira met the end of the knife with her blade, it fell to the ground and everyone was at a standstill.
"It's Scott. It's Scott." Stiles said, Liam was shocked, focusing his attention back to the berserker, he looked into it eyes. Stiles was right, it was Scott.
Scott threw Liam and Peter off of him, and punched Malia knocking her to the floor. Everyone begged and pleaded, but nothing worked.
He continued to wreak havoc attacking Liam and pinning him against a column. "Scott, Scott, listen, listen, listen! You're not a monster!"
"You're a werewolf! Like me." It seemed the younger teen got through to Scott, because he put Liam down, backing up and he began to shrug off the bone armor.
Finally making his way to the helmet, and using his strength to tear it apart. Roaring as he did so, his eyes glowing red, his gaze turned to Peter.
"You. The only one who knew as much as Argent about berserkers. About Nagual. You taught Kate. You helped her. All for power." He stated.
Peter cut his act, "For my family's power. To be rightfully inherited by me. Not usurped by some idiot teenage boy, so incorruptible, he won't shed the blood of his enemies even when justified."
"You don't deserve your power. Not power like this." He said. Then he began to shift, his eyes glowing blue, and roaring at Malia. When she ran to attack him, he flung her away like a rag doll.
Kira raised her sword ready to strike, but Scott didn't want that, so she stood down. "You were my beta first, Scott. It was my bite that changed your life. And my bite that can end it."
"Then, end it, Peter. Because you won't get another chance." Scott replied. In response they both roared and started to fight.
Both the man and teen threw punches, but it wasn't looking good for Scott, Peter was gaining the upper hand. The others were told to stand down.
And although they wanted to help, they trusted Scott. "You want to defeat me? You're going to have to kill me!" Scott landed across the room, which had Peter look toward Liam.
In a split second he threw an old church pew at Liam, which infuriated Scott even more, he got up and faced Peter blocking every blow Peter tried to aim at him.
When finally he sucker punched Peter, who flew through the air. "You were never an Alpha, Peter. But you were always a monster."
Before Peter could get up, Scott punched him again and the older man was out like a light. It was time to go, they needed to get out of the church.
When they reached the church opening, the sun had risen, Chris informed Scott that they had enough yellow wolfsbane to keep Peter out on the way back to Beacon Hills.
He told them about the deal he made with the Calaveras, they would leave the pack alone in exchange for his help in finding Kate after she ran off.
"What if you can't?" Kira asked.
"I'll find her. Someone has to." He replied.
ββββββββββββββββββ
Finn went straight home after everything, he conked out as soon as he hit his bed, but had to get up some hours later for the actual school day.
Which he wasn't exactly thrilled about. Since he didn't finish his assignments, and Claire was counting on him, saying he was 'the most competent and reliable'.
She was most likely still mad at Todd. In fact everyone was still mad at Todd. Once he got to school he grabbed his camera and bolted from the clubroom, good thing he didn't need the tripod.
He ran to the locker room, wanting to catch any of his friends. He saw Scott, Stiles, and Liam talking to Coach, and it was interesting, though he needed the additional context.
"Then Stiles said that Scott and Kira were stuck in Mexico which was why they missed the game." Liam explained.
Coach nodded along, "Uh, so we went down to Mexico to drive them back from Mexico and that's why we all missed practice."
But Coach's expression remained intense, "Cause... we were all in Mexico." Liam said, meekly.
The man turned his attention to Scott, "You took Kira on a date to Mexico?"
Scott confirmed, "It was our first real date."
"In Mexico?" Finn did admit he'd be skeptical if he was Coach as well, because who the hell drives down to Mexico for a first date?
Stiles chimed in, "They wanted to do something special."
"Okay, I believe you." Coach said.
Liam looked at him nervously, "Really?"
Only to have his hopes dashed, "Absolutely not. But I've had experiences south of the border that would knock the genitals off you boys."
But he continued, "Still, let me be clear to you two. This kid's the best talent I've seen in years. So he's your responsibility now."
"You boys are gonna stick together. You're gonna look out for each other. And you're gonna have each other's backs. You got it?"
Scott smiled at Liam, who returned with one of his own, "We got it."
Coach then went into his office and shut the door, "So you guys went to Mexico, huh?" Finn asked, walking further into the room.
"Yeah, long story but I'll tell you later. Are you okay? Especially after the berserker trapping you?" Liam asked.
"I'm okay, the headache is mostly gone. Don't worry it's not a concussion. Though I'm pretty sure my brother heard me come in really late." Finn said, rubbing the nape of his neck.
The three of them winced, "So I'll probably get an earful later. But it's okay. I just can't believe Mr. Stilinski blew the thing up."
"Yeah, Mason told me about it. We're gonna have to tell him everything soon." Liam said, as the three walked out of the locker room.
Scott held up his hand, "Let's put a pin in that for now guys. We'll see you later."
Liam and Finn waved them off and had to head to their respective classes as well. "I'm glad you're okay. When Mason told me you were with him and Lydia I was really worried."
Finn's cheeks flushed, "I'm alright Li, everyone's okay. We're alive and everything is good. No more deadpool and no more creepy bone monsters."
Liam chuckled, "Amen to that."
Finn smiled, "Anyway, I'll see you tomorrow. We're still on for video games at your place?"
Liam nodded his head, "Yup, Mason will be there later since he has a study group."
"Okay, cool. See you." The two went their separate ways, and soon enough the school day was over. Finn rode the bus home.
He got to the front door and opened it. He shrugged off his shoes, dropped his bag aside, and headed to the kitchen for a much needed snack.
Only he was met with his brother at the dining table. "Hey Ed's, why aren't you at work?" Finn questioned.
Eddie answered quickly, "I had a half day. Listen, we need to talk."
Finn was confused, he grabbed an apple, "Okay, what's up?"
"Why did you come home so late?" Eddie asked.
Finn sighed, "I was working in the clubroom really late. I had a bunch of deadlines I had to meet. I'm sorry I didn't tell you."
Eddie nodded his head, processing the information, "I feel like that's only half of the truth. So do you want to tell me everything?"
'Shit!' He thought, "That was the truth Eddie, I don't know what else you want me to say."
Eddie sighed exasperatedly, "Finn, you were gone until three in the morning. The school would have been closed, so what were you doing after the school closed for the day?"
Finn crossed his arms, "I'm not partying, sneaking out, or doing drugs and alcohol. If that's what you're worried about."
"That's good, I wasn't worried about that. I'm worried about the fact that you haven't been talking to me." Eddie replied.
Finn scoffed, "Seriously? That's what this is all about? You're the one that's at work until one or two in the morning! You're rarely home!"
Eddie raised his voice, "I'm an adult, Finnley. All this work I'm doing is for you! The least you could do is be grateful."
The teen shouted back, "I never said I wasn't! But if I told you the truth you wouldn't believe me anyway! So what's the point?!"
Eddie flung his arms up in the air, "Try me! I bet whatever it is we can work it out!"
Finn shook his head, "No! We can't! I'd be putting you in danger and I can't do that! I won't."
"Finn, what the hell is going on?!" Eddie exclaimed.
Finn stood up, walking away from the table, "You're just gonna have to trust me!"
Eddie followed close behind, "Well trust goes both ways!"
Finn exhaled, the two of them were too stubborn to stop, he took his phone out and found Liam's number, sending him a short text.
Eddie was onto him, and he couldn't keep lying anymore. "If you want the truth, fine. But I'm going to give you proof, and you're not gonna like it."
"So this is your last chance to drop it and move on." Finn warned.
Eddie eyes filled with fury, he gave no indication of backing down, he'd wait for the so-called evidence, and ten minutes later there was a knock at their door.
When Finn opened it, he was greeted by Liam, Scott, and Stiles. He let them in, realizing it was the first time the older boys had ever stepped foot inside his house.
Eddie was sitting on the couch in the living room, Finn wasted no time diving in, "Eddie, these are my friends Scott, Stiles, and Liam. Over the past two months there's been a lot of shit that's happened."
Finn gestured to them, "As to not dance around the topic, Liam and Scott here are werewolves. Guys mind making your eyes glow and whatnot before he laughs in my face?"
The two stepped forward and their eyes changed to their respective colors, Finn watched as Eddie's eyes widened. "Holy shit." He said, looking back at his little brother.
Finn shifted nervously on his feet, "The only reason I didn't tell you was that I wanted to protect you. Since losing dad it's just been us."
Tears sprang to his eyes, "If something happened to you, I'd never forgive myself. You're all I've got Eddie. I'm sorry for lying to you."
It was quiet for a moment, then Eddie spoke up, "I'm glad you told me, I've got questions. But I'm only going to ask two as to not lose my shit or brain cells."
The younger Connor knew questions would be asked, if they weren't he'd be surprised. "Shoot." He said.
"Do your parents know? Scott, I work with your mom, Stiles, your dad is the sheriff. And Liam, this is the first and longest conversation I've had with you face to face."
Scott hummed in confirmation, "Yeah my mom knows, and Sheriff Stilinski knows."
Finn watched the gears turning in Eddie's mind, "Alright, who else in the friend group is a werewolf?"
Stiles chimed in, "Well, Kira's a kitsune, a fox spirit, Lydia's a banshee, and Malia's a werecoyote. I'd uh, do some research later."
Eddie ran his hand through his hair, "Noted. I want to meet them, cause that's my brother, all I want is for him to be safe. Also, are you a werewolf or a vampire?"
Stiles sighed, "Just because I'm super pale doesn't mean I'm a werewolf, vampire, or ghost. But... no... I'm a normal human being."
Liam snickered, "You've got ADHD and use a bat as a weapon when going up against monsters. That's not normal, that's a death wish."
Stiles turned to Liam pointing his finger, "You're an IED and haven't watched Star Wars, so screw off Liam, this is why Finn is my favorite."
Scott interrupted the start of their argument, "Okay, focus, Eddie we trust that you won't tell anyone about us."
Eddie stood up, "Of course, yeah, but if any of you get my brother hurt I'll kick your asses. Supernatural powers be damned."
All three boys nodded while Finn rolled his eyes, "This conversation is over, thanks for coming over and helping me explain everything."
Liam smiled, "No problem, that's what friends do." They made their leave and left the brothers house.
Both Finn and Eddie looked at each other, blurting out at the same time, "I'm sorry!" Then they bursted into laughter.
"But seriously, I was sort of disappointed but I understand why you were keeping that such a huge secret." Eddie said.
Finn fiddled with his sleeve, "I get it, and it was shitty of me to yell at you."
"Let's just say it wasn't either of our proudest moments. I love you, and I just want what's best for you."
"I know, I love you too." Eddie got closer to him and ruffled his hair, soon they were eating Chinese take out and watching some movies.
Later on that night, as the moon was setting, Finn got ready for bed, the exhaustion from the last few days taking over. He felt relieved now that Eddie wasn't in the dark about everything.
He couldn't imagine having to keep everything in for the rest of his life, but he also felt a wave of calmness overtaking him.
Neither he nor his friends had to deal with any more battles, no threatening possible certain death missions, just normal teenage life.
Filled with homework, lacrosse games, photography events, everything that comes with being a teenager. It was the start of something new and Finn couldn't wait.
