REAL LIFE !

SIENNA BARELY HAD A SECOND TO PROCESS what had just happened before her phone exploded with an incoming FaceTime call.

Lucas. Of course.

She groaned, already knowing what was coming as she rolled onto her back and picked up. "This better be—"

"WHAT THE FUCK, SIENNA?!"

She winced, holding her phone away from herself as Lucas's face appeared on screen, wide-eyed and practically vibrating with energy. His brown curls were a mess, and he looked like he had been running—probably pacing in distress over whatever insane scenario he had already imagined in his head.

Sienna sighed dramatically. "Jesus, calm down—"

"No, I will not calm down," Lucas cut her off, jabbing a finger at the screen. "WHY. DID. XOLO. MARIDUEÑA. JUST FOLLOW YOU?"

Sienna blinked and then hesitated. "Uhhh—"

Lucas's eyes narrowed. "Sienna."

She bit her lip, knowing there was no way out of this. Lucas knew her too well. If she lied, he would see right through it. If she dodged, he'd just get more annoying.

Finally, she sighed. "Okay. Hypothetically—"

Lucas threw his hands in the air. "Nope, no. I know that tone. Hypothetically my ass. What. Did. You. Do?"

"I didn't do anything!" Sienna shot back. "He DMed me first!"

Lucas froze. Stared. Blinked. Then, suddenly, he screamed.

"He what?!"

Sienna flinched. "Dude, my eardrums—"

"No, shut up." Lucas scrambled to sit up, gripping his phone like she had just told him she discovered a portal to another dimension. "You're telling me that Xolo Maridueña—a celebrity, a literal Netflix star—just randomly slid into your DMs?"

"...Yes?"

Lucas just stared at her, mouth opening and closing like a fish. Then, in a blur of movement, he bolted off-screen.

Sienna frowned. "Hello? What are you—"

Distant shuffling. The sound of drawers opening. A loud thud. Then—

"I need my laptop," Lucas shouted from somewhere in the distance. "I need visual confirmation... again."

Sienna rolled her eyes, waiting as he came sprinting back into frame, dramatically slamming his laptop open. 

"Lucas—"

"No. This is historic." He typed furiously, muttering under his breath as he pulled up Instagram. Then—he froze.

His jaw dropped. 

"He actually follows you."

"Yes, Lucas, we've established that."

He stared at the screen, expression caught somewhere between absolute awe and complete betrayal. "How. How did this happen?"

Sienna groaned. "I don't know! He just... DM'ed me, and then we started talking."

Lucas's mouth fell open again. "You've been talking?"

Sienna rubbed her temples. "You're gonna give yourself an aneurysm—"

"NO, BECAUSE—" Lucas started flailing wildly, like his body physically couldn't contain his emotions. "What if he likes you?"

Sienna choked. "Excuse me?"

Lucas sat up straight, eyes wild. "No, think about it. Xolo—famous actor, funny dude, cool as hell—DM'ed you. Not some influencer. Not some LA socialite. You. And he's been bantering with you?"

Sienna groaned. "It's not that deep—"

"IT IS EXACTLY THAT DEEP." Lucas's hands flew to his head. "What if you and Xolo date."

"Oh my god."

"No, because imagine—" Lucas suddenly gasped, his entire face lighting up like he had just discovered the meaning of life. "If you and Xolo become a thing..." He leaned closer to the screen, whispering like he was revealing a sacred truth.

"I GET TO MEET THE COBRA KAI CAST."

Sienna hung up.
