Jennie who are in a deep slumber woke up upon hearing someone knocking on her front door. She glance at her mate who also seem as if he was awaken by the loud noise

"Who's knocking in front of our damn door in the middle of the night." He grumble in annoyance as he hugged Jennie's waist pulling her closer to cuddle but Jennie tap on his hand.

"I need to check." She mutter sleepily as Taehyung growl in annoyance before letting go of his mate. Jennie stood up as she switch on the bed light.

She walk out of the bedroom as she tie her hair into a pony tail. As soon as she get out from her room a sleepy voice greet her "oh, Jennie, are you on your way to open the door?"

The thing is, Jimin, a human is Rose's mate an omega. Rose and Jennie, who are a beta share the same mansion so after meeting their mate.

The two male just agree on leaving with each other considering Taehyung, an alpha and Jimin get along very well.

Back to the story.

She turn to her left only to see a sleepy Jimin ruffling his hair sleepily. Jennie nod "are expecting someone?" She ask but the other shake his head.

Jennie sigh upon hearing the door getting knocked aggressively as ever. She walk down the stairs and went to the front door. She bring up her palm to the knob.

She twist it and open it, ready to curse the life out of the person who dare to knock in front of her door and disturb her beauty sleep.

Only to be grabbed by her shoulder and got shaken by a pure-breed true alpha who suddenly scream like a mad woman.

Flashback before that situation happens Lisa walk to her bedroom with bunch of books in her hand. She locks the door, not forgetting to tell her butler to not bother her.

Lisa throw the book on the bed before and sit comfortably in it. She took a deep breath and grab the first book that wrote only one word that she love the most.

In the werewolve's history the oldest wolf to ever find their mate is at the age of 45, as they meet their mate when they are still a baby. Yes, that is possible but rare.

Akira snort at the statement.

Lisa didn't bother to reply and slip to the other pages.

However, in the year of 2021 not all creature are fond with the idea of having a mate. They prefer their 'girlfriend' or 'boyfriend' or maybe even their own 'crush'

They would reject their mate to be with the person they had fall in love with. In other words not all mates can end up together.

Lisa raise an eyebrow at the statement as Akira scoff.

Seriously, if you fall in love with someone who are not your mate, it wasn't love. Who wouldn't want a mate anyways? They were made for us, just like how we were made for them!

In the werewolves species, a human and a werewolf as a mate are a rare condition. A human mate is a blessing from the moon goddess to start a new bloodline.

Thus, the wolf must court their human mate and make their mate fall for them. When their mate accept them, that is how the new bloodline of wolf's will begin.

Lisa smile at the words as Akira wiggle her tail in excitement.

Our mate is a blessing! We can't lose him!

Of course, he is a blessing! We will make him fall for us!

However having a human mate of course have their own disadvantage. Humans was created to not be able to recognize their mate so their love can always changes.

Even if a wolf manages to court them, they must make sure that their mate won't 'fall out of love' that is one of the most difficult task for a wolf to ever do

Lisa purse her lips as Akira groan at the back of her head.

Damn human feelings are complicated.

Lisa sigh as she close the book feeling as if she had read enough. She out away the book and grab another on on the bed. A book about the pure-breed alpha's mate.

Lisa stare at the title before slowly flipping on the first pages.
