1 YEAR LATER

NO ONE P.O.V

The heavy breath left her lips as she ran at full speed across the forest. She would never get enough of the forest no matter how many times had she run in it.

She couldn't help but howl in joy when she ran around freely. She halted her step upon reaching the clift that she went to last year.

The full moon is shining brightly In front of her. She could see the full view of the moon as she howled in excitement but her howl faded down when she remembered what she had said at this place last year.

Talking about mate, Lisa wanted to huff at the fact that she hadn't found hers. She did search for her mate but they are nowhere to be found.

Lisa couldn't help but sit down and sigh in defeat. She felt jealous seeing people walking around with their mates beside them and she felt angry that she hadn't found hers.

To be exact, she felt lonely.

Akira was always there to comfort her but she knew that deep down, Akira felt the same because they were the same person.

Lisa just stared at the moon, still in her wolf form before slowly sitting down and letting the breeze hit her delicate fur.

Junghwa pouted as she entered the car lazily making Seokjin look at her weirdly. It is quite late at night and Jungkook asks her to buy some groceries with Seokjin.

Junghwa doesn't want to at first as she still has the assignment to complete but her older brother insists on her going out so she has no choice but to obey him.

Now that they had bought the stuff after moving here and there for the past 2 hours, they finally were on their way home, seeing her lazy expression Seokjin decided to lighten the mood.

"You know, your brother just wants you to move around rather than sit in your room getting immersed in your books and stuff," Seokjin says with a smile.

Seokjin is always like a family to both of them, he is a beta wolf. Not a rich person but not poor either, he lived an average life and was always there to help them.

"But Oppa, I'm studying hard and now he is the one who is not letting me study." She replies still pouting, Seokjin laughs "I know, I know but you still need to go out you know, it's for the best, he is doing what is best for you."

He assures her making a small smile appear on her face "Yeah... Of course but even so, why would he ask me to go out such late at night tho? I can just go out tomorrow—"

Junghwa cut herself off as she seemed to remember something. Seeing her sudden change of expression Seokjin asks her "What is wrong?"

"Oppa, what date is today?" She asks. "Uh, it is the 29th, why—" Seokjin was cut off when she suddenly became panicked "Oppa! Go home now! QUICK!!!"

Seeing her panicked Jin drove faster as he asked "Why? What's wrong?" He asks in worry "It's the end of the month, that debt collector, they are coming to collect debt!"

She says as her eyes start brimming with tears, knowing that her brother sent her away so that she wouldn't get hurt or anything by those people.

Hearing her explanation, Jin wasted no time and drove the car at full speed as his worry for the younger started to rise, not caring about anything at all.

The door was slammed open as the two of them entered the apartment in a rush. Junghwa widens her eyes upon seeing how messy their apartment is.

She rushes inside to look for her brother and Seokjin follows her soon after. She entered the kitchen and widened her eyes at the sight before her "Oppa!"

She yelled as she rushed at her brother that is lying on the ground unconscious with bruises and blood. Seokjin rushes to where he is and checks on him

Junghwa starts crying as she tries to wake him up. His breathing sounded weak so Seokjin immediately picked him up "Quick, we need to go to the hospital!"

Junghwa rushed away to get some stuff as Seokjin was about to rush away with the unconscious male but Jungkook's weak voice stopped him "N-no..."

"No hospital... Junghwa n-need that money." He whispers, holding a grunt of pain as Seokjin tsk "Stop being so selfless, you are bleeding!"

He scolded as he continued rushing out with Junghwa following him soon after. After getting in the car they all quickly head to the hospital.

Lisa was on her way back home in her human form as she hummed a small song on her way back. It is all peaceful and nice until a deep frown suddenly appears on her face.

She suddenly halted on her step as she brought her palm up to her chest. She felt such a squeeze on her heart and she widened her eyes when her wolf suddenly let out a whimper.

Akira, what's wrong?

I- I don't know, I felt very uneasy.

Why? Is there any reason behind it?

I don't know, it was as if someone was in pain and we were feeling the same.

Lisa rubbed her chest, feeling such uneasiness made her feel weird. She never felt, anxious nor uneasy or even scared but somehow the feeling she was getting felt bad.

She doesn't like it.

Lisa glanced around, feeling as if someone was watching her but her senses were telling her that she was alone. She took a deep breath and ignored the feeling before walking away.

Not knowing that a white majestic wolf is watching her from afar. The wolf just moved its gaze following her figure which slowly disappeared from the wolf's sight.

'They haven't even met but their bond is stronger than a mated mate.'

The wolf says to itself before walking away. The white majestic wolf walks past a tree revealing a young and beautiful lady, coming out from the tree.

The moon goddess

The moon goddess gazed at the moon above her as she let out a breath. A white butterfly flew in Infront of her before transforming into a young male and bowing in front of her.

"Moon goddess." He mutters making her smile "stand up, Yeonjun-ah." She says making the male stand up In front of her. "How is he?" She asks softly.

"The male beta and his little sister arrived on time, he was at the hospital." He informs as the goddess nods softly "Moon goddess please pardon me, but can I ask you a question?"

The moon goddess turns to the male and nods at him "Why would you make the true perfect host as the pure-breed true alpha's mate? When fate tells that they are enemies."

Silence filled them soon after as Yeonjun looked down and apologized but the moon goddess just let out a hearty chuckle later making Yeonjun lift his gaze.

When her chuckle died down her soft gaze turned a little sad "Yeonjun-ah, Do you know that the darkness ruined mortal's fate?" She asks making the male shake his head.

"Every time the gods create a mortal with the luckiest fate, the darkness will ruin their fate and turn them into the cruelest fate before making them its host."

Moon goddess glances at Yeonjun "The pure breed true alpha's mate had the luckiest fate when he was created. The darkness ruined his fate and made him his host, and Jungkook happens to be a perfect host."

"Their fate is ruined, they live their life with struggles, pain, or maybe even hatred. The darkness feeds on them and becomes stronger. When the host is on the verge of breaking, that is when the darkness will appear."

"It will offer them everything, money, freedom, death, revenge, and even love. Such a huge temptation for the host." The moon goddess continued as sadness laced in her tone.

"Some of the hosts resist the darkness and when that happens they will face a huge pain as the darkness will take over with force but some give in as they give up on the world." She adds as a tear slid down her cheek.

"None of them ever live peacefully since they were born till they die. Now, the true host has appeared, it's time for us to stop the darkness from coming back to life and stop it from incarnating into someone else body." She says as she wipes her tears

She turns towards Yeonjun who just listens to her silently. She smiled at him "I believe, if there is anybody else who could stop the darkness, it will be them, the two of them."

"Let's have some fate in them..."
